Glad they had a good time! They probably could have kept going! Did they make you jump in any of those ball pits?

No ball pits at the new one. Most of the games were for older kids which doesn't make sense to me. You usually don't see a lot of teenagers hanging out in Chuck e Cheese. My niece's enjoyed all of the ones they could ride on though and all of the ones that took their picture. I also found a game where I could get them 40 tickets every time. So they still had almost 1100 tickets to split when we left.

I JUST HAVE to say this: You are the best uncle ever!!!

Saturday ... after the weekly bookkeeping, I took down the outdoor decorations, and that's all I got done. Didn't even get to the trees today. Went out to have some lunch with a gift card we got for Christmas, and we're going to visit a friend and his family in a little while for a belated Christmas/Hanukkah celebration. I hope I have enough energy for this. It's an old high school friend of Mr.'s, and they get loud and boisterous talking over old times! I guess most of tomorrow will be spent taking down the trees and packing away seasonal items. Not looking forward to that.

Hey everyone! I have snapped 3 pics of Jordan he was born this morning at 130am..I have just got home for the first time in 2 days to get some sleep but I wanted to pass the word on show off my new son!!

Congratulations! What a gorgeous little fella! (And we all get to "watch" him grow up on the Countdown!)

Thanks so much. Did you have this army when you went through it??? I, honestly, cannot convey how at peace I feel, and I KNOW it is because of this forum!!!

Sorry to say, I didn't ... I was in my 20s, and the friends I had then sort of shied away from me. They stopped returning calls and answering letters, and eventually "backed out" of my life. It was a lonesome, awkward time. I don't know how I got through it. My greatest peace is having a husband who told me before we were married that if cancer ever struck again, I wouldn't be alone.

MerryCarey and anyone else who crochets: I just received an email with the CUTEST scarf. I have never heard of the cascading potato chip scarf, but this is so darn cute. Has anyone ever done one of these??? Here is the site: http://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-H...ng-Potato-Chip-Scarf-from-Red-Heart-Yarn/ml/1

If I somehow screwed up and you cannot reach the site, PM me and I will get the info to you.

I saved the link ... looks fairly simple to make. The pattern involves adding "extra" stitches so the scarf ripples up. Are you going to make one for yourself? Or are you looking for someone to make one for you?

I agree with SW! You are the best uncle ever! I hope my future children have an uncle as good as you are.

MC, I cannot imagine going through all that alone and having others desert me. You are so lucky to have Mr. in your life.

Since you mentioned Hanukkah, one of the questions on my screening questionnaire was concerning if I were Ashkenazi Jewish. I asked my doctor about this and found out that this group is highly suseptical to breast cancer.

I was thinking of doing some scarves for next Christmas. I totally fell in love with the design!!!

Hubby and I were at an Elks Convention in California when Pete Carroll and all the players of the USC Trojans came through our area. We were holding a drawing and just asked one of those people to choose a ticket. I laughingly said, "Draw my name!!!" Well, Ray Malinuga drew my name. I gave him a BIG hug and talked to him several times when I saw him at our hotel during the event!! Today, Hubby is watching the Bengals game on TV, and I heard Ray's name!!! I asked Hubby if that were the same kid. He said, "Yes, it is!!!

Your prayers for peace worked today. I did not get good news, but I was not hysterical or anything. There is definitely a lump on the left and some suspicious stuff on the right. So I go back on Wednesday for two biopsies. I was at the doctor's office from 8:30 until noon. TTYL.

My thoughts are with you.

This post made me laugh. I enjoyed the disco to Costco part! I can relate to the acid reflux, that's for sure. My brother and I both have it. The doctor appointments to get it checked out suck - who wants a tube up their nose and dropped in their throat? Thank goodness mine has settled down! -knock on wood-

Speaking of Chuck E. Cheese, we have one nearby that has been there since I was a teenager. I went there as a teen, took my kids there and now take my grandchildren. The kids just love that place!

MerryCarey and Xmas366, I just picked up the Time Life Book of Christmas from the library. I only glanced at a few pages but Wayne already went through it cover to cover. Looks like it is filled with some interesting stuff!

We have had a busy day today and will have another one tomorrow. Wayne and I are going to watch some TV then get to sleep.

Have a goodnight everyone!

Good evening, Christmas family

Well today was an odd day. My company had asked me to work today instead of tomorrow so I could cover radiology. I was glad to do it..but my time in my head is all messed up !! I didn't even get to wish Xmas a happy birthday til now....What a friend I am !

At least I am off tomorrow. I am attempting to start back on maintenance again....weight has been gradually creeping up. It is so tough right now because for some reason the Winter is my "comfort food" season........

I watched/listened to Music Choice last night until the Christmas music stopped. Then I turned to Contemporary Christian and they were playing Christmas Music !! I was so elated !

((((Hugs)))) of course to our Seawaters !!

Also to all the furkids, Palmer, Harlowe, Snickers, Ella, Snowball, Gomez, Scooby, Sasha and all the furkids everywhere xoxoxo

Gosh I am tired.....I will talk to everyone later. I hope everyone who doesn't feel well will be better soon ((Hugs)) xo
