Just dropping in for a minute. Feeling a bit blah, tired, slight headache and sore throat. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse!

Oh some explanation after i read my own post and got confused of it (I am often not very clear ) Before february start i have to have finished my 'pre-master' which is half a year of extra education for wanting a Masters Degree in International Relations. So now i need to finish an extra thesis, and some exams and then hopefully i get to start this master-degree education in february, but i have lots to do you see...

hi sounds to me like your stressing yourself out when you think what you have to do
Take a stepback your get there. take it one day at a tme and do what has to be done 1st.

I am just looking at the weather forecast and it is going to rain tonight and tomorrow,then turning cooler,tomorrow night it should get down to 32F so I will have a nice warm fire in the fireplace,and my mom and sister are going to watch Christmas movies and eat turkey and dressing since we all missed out on visiting last Christmas,I think we will watch Mrs Miriacle and home alone 2. I love the New York Christmas scenes in Home alone 2. Then I guess that will be it until I watch Christmas in July movies the end of July! looking forward to tomorrow night for sure! I hope everyone had a great first day of the work week! Have a great evening!

Hey guys! I shared this in the prayer request thread, but thought I would share it here too if that is okay.

That is sad indeed! I hope this poor child gets the much needed transplant!

Hubby and I went to Chico today to look at cabinets for our kitchen when it is remodeled. I am so excited. One of the units is a master chef area that is for spices and larger items such as olive oil and larger containers of spices, another one with pull out drawers and pull out shelves for regular spices, a cabinet with a double tiered lazy Susan, and a corner "appliance garage" for my Kitchen Aid mixer and other appliences. We will have several of those long pull-out drawers for pots and pans, a cabinet that will hold several cookie sheets and other baking pans, and a large 10 ft. island that will have our sink and dishwasher and more storage!!! Finally a place for all my kitchen stuff!!!

Lucky lucky lucky!!! That is why I am doing a major overhaul on my kitchen! No remodeling (I wish) but organizing to just be able to find stuff! I just don't have enough space but it's okay, I will work with what I have! =)

Hey! Nothing wrong with a lazy day! Good for you on the projects, I'm trying to do one project a day on the weekends. I got my closet cleaned out today and then i took a nap. Great minds think alike!

I am having a very hard time getting going today - I took new allergy meds last night, slept over 10 hours and am quite sure I could sleep 10 more! I am drinking my first cup of coffee, though - must make more!!!

I feel for you on those darn allergies! I hope they clear up for you soon!

I sure can't wait until my dad and her fly down again this summer. It will be quiet when everyone leaves this weekend. I hope everyone here is having a great day. Mine is going super so far!

It snowed last night! We got about 3 inches, but it is suppose to get into the 40's today so it will be just a quick a visit. My foot is in a lot of pain today, I had to pick LC up the other night, and I felt another "pop" I don't know what I can do about work if I need that hard cast. The boys were crazy this morning, there was a 2 hour delay from the weather and they just kept beating the crap out of each other, so I took them to the daycare/preschool so JP could catch the bus from there like he usually does, and I could get peace of mind that they wouldn't hurt each other any more since they separate the older kids from the younger ones. My plans are to take it easy today, my wife gave a honey-do list, but I need to rest my foot today so honey-do will be honey-didn't today.

Rest up so your foot will heal!!!

Busy day at the office today---I'm sneaking in a visit. Mr. went to see the doctor this morning. The doctor prescribed some medication for his cold and cough, then Mr. spent the day at home. This cold REALLY hit him hard; he pulled something in his chest from coughing so hard. I hope the medicine boots it out of his system. It's hard to see him suffer with it. We had about an inch of snow overnight, but it all melted away during the day, and now we're expecting rain.

Re the Angry Birds addicts---should I get the app? Or should I resist the addiction? I've been resisting it so far. I've been playing cribbage and several kinds of solitaire on my Kindle Fire, and thinking of getting Scrabble and maybe backgammon.

Just getting off the phone with my mom and she asked me what I wanted her to cook for dinner tonight. I told her salmon patties. I always mean to get her recipes for that because I love those.

Mmmm ... I even like them cold in a sandwich! Would you share your mom's recipe when you get it?

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well on this fine day. The weather here in my part of Pa warmed up today and got to be almost 60. It was freezing rain when I went to work last night and then turned over to rain, thank goodness.

Sorry I haven't been on before now, but today has been a very busy day. I'm actually getting dinner now, then after I get the kids to bed, I will be back to get caught up on the posts from today. I did just want to stop in and say hello very quickly.

Good evening, MMC! I am so disappointed that I haven't been around much for the past couple of days. Ever since the beginning of last week, I have been so busy. I finally got caught up with everything and I hope to be on a lot more. I had Statistics this morning, and then I went and picked up some lunch for my mom and myself and brought it home. We watched some afternoon soap operas together and ate lunch. I had to read thirty pages in a textbook for Meteorology, but now I am all caught up.

I have some Penguins hockey to watch in a few minutes, and I am really looking forward to relaxing and spending time with my family.

My mom and I baked some brownies last night and over half are gone already!

hey ya'll. just got finished making potato soup for supper. just made it on saturday, it was a big hit & they actually asked for it again tonight.
snowflake asked me to tell everyone hi & she's thinking of you. her computer is not letting her log on for some reason but she's contacted jeff so he will probably fix it shortly.
had a very slow day @ work. sometimes i think i wish for a really busy day instead of this slow. i can literally see the hour hand on the clock move. trying to find something to do to stay busy. yuck!

Just sitting here watching the Bruins vs Lightning, I feel so tired tonight. I made my homemade goulash for dinner, it was very good. My wife had a meeting tonight, so I had to make dinner, that was pretty much the only time I was on my feet today. Anyone still seeing Christmas lights on in your travels, a few on the next street over here have theirs still on, and of course I have my window candles on. GOAL Bruins! Woohoo! 1-1 now. I must find some dessert to gorge on now. Enjoy the evening!
