Later last night, my daughter's other grandmother gave her a bird egg she'd found. That meant I was to spend the next couple hours creating an incubator consisting of a styrofoam cooler lined with tinfoil, and a C9 Christmas light (I couldn't resist!) in the side wall of the cooler. She popped out of bed this morning to check on her egg, and to roll it to get warmth on all sides. She love it!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Awfully nice of you to create that, Brad! Keep us updated on the egg's progress!

hi my friends.....today will be hard day, because we are going to my grandpa´s funeral....can I ask for prayers for us and especially my grandmother to make through this day...as I wrote before...she is very, very brave...but lets the pain come out, too...but u never know what happens to a person when they bring their loved one to his grave :(

Awfully sorry for your loss, Track. I lost both my grandfathers within a year of each other. Both funerals were extremely tough for me and my grandmothers - both of whom are still with us.

All the best to you and your family, especially your grandmother.

A slow day at the office so far. Makes me a little nervous that something big and demanding is lurking.

Yesterday was a rough day on me. I woke up hurting all over, felt terrible and have no idea why! I went to church and had to leave early. I came home and laid down before I went to work. I did okay at work but then my back started killing me. I am still hurting today especially in my back!

Lunch is over with...after the menu I have been eating since my mom was here feeding me I only drank water, water water for lunch..I am having major stomach issues:(

Take care of yourselves, all of you who are under the weather. And xmas366, are you treating your foot the way your doctor says you should?

There's no way to get away from here since it's being held downtown.

No need to go out for a good movie ... Get some good DVDs and a lot of microwave popcorn before the day, and hunker down for a movie marathon. Works for us! Sometimes we watch DVDs of Red Sox ALCS games from 2004 and broil hot dogs in the oven.

I have been reading all these posts about a game so lets see if I got this right...
some patriot giants are going to play in a big bowl?
In case you did not guess I am not big into football LOL

Thank you for saying this ... now I know we're not the only ones!

trackrebel: my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family - take care, my friend! ((((hugs))))

sugarplum fairy: praying for all those affected by the storms!

frostyman: I'm glad the severe weather passed you by!

CAH - I hope you are better soon!

Anne: Gong Hay Fat Choi, to you, too!

Wow !! Why so much venom about the patriots ? is it the team is it the fans ? Myself being less than a year from being forty I can remember the long suffering of new englanders with no championships in any sports. We have been extremely fortunate the last 10 years with success from all the major sports teams. Although I believe the Celtics did win some in the 80's but I myself am not much of a basketball fan.I know that the game yesterday was more a case of Baltimore giving it away than of us taking it from them , and the Giants have already beaten us this season so that Superbowl is going to be one heck of a game.I just hope in the end the Patriots come out on top.

Ok I am going to be good here... Tee Hee, not hate for New England teams, all teams suffer many a year without a championship - that's all it is... the suffering of knowing you have another year... Fans letting it all out... Rivals losing rivals winning... I for one hope the G-Men prevail, but not because I dislike New England teams, because they fought the fight and made it, hopefully all the fans will get a great game that is what we are all looking for, good ball. But, I hope the G-Men win - tee hee

I wish I cared about football. It seems you guys have a lot of fun watching it! I'll watch the Superbowl...for the commercials. cheesy

Good afternoon!

Work is going slow today, so I had time to do a quick browse of the forums. I hope everyone is having a MERRY day!!!

PLEASE know that I meant nothing by my comment !!!!!! I was just curious as a new englander. Everyone is welcome to like or not like anyone they want.In the end whether the Patriots win or lose my life will not change one bit .I will still have all the same problems on Monday Feb 5th that I had the day before. However we will all still have MYMERRYCHRISTMAS.COM to talk about it !

You are SO right!!! MMC RULES!!! We can come a "lick" our wounds!!! Hey I hope I didn't offend you I didn't mean too just talking that is what I LOVE about here... It will be such a great game, or at least I hope so... Not one of those duds, where one team dominates... I know I was biting my nails last night!!!!! But, I secretly LOVED it too... I was so into it... Ahhh, but if the outcome had been that the 49-ers won, I would have been singing quite a different tune now I am sure of that!!!! Tee Hee!!! That is what I love about sports!!!! The trill!!! The rivals!!!! The FUN!!! The excitement of playoffs and the big game!!!!

Hmmm, Dayton is next after the SB.... Go Danica!!!! GO GIRL GO!!!!!!

Hey everyone!

Looks like it's gonna be an all-nighter in my neck of the woods. Thunderstorms, tornado watches, very heavy rain, gusty winds and it's just going to get more exciting as the night progresses. They're saying it should be over with by about 7 a.m. (just in time for my husband to start getting ready for work). Tornado watches....in January. Where's my snow lol?:)

Hope you are safe Sprinkles.

Have a great night everyone!!

Hi Meceka, hope you are having a Merry day too... I forgot to tell everyone it snowed by me on Saturday!!! Snickers was in heaven and the kitties were not!!! Callie loves her evening walks and was very put out that it had snowed you should have seen her, mewing at the snow every time she went to go in it, she is a handful that little spit fire!!!!

Wow !! Why so much venom about the patriots ?

It's the team and the Coach for me. We could of won several super bowls if it wasn't for the Patriots knocking us out of the playoffs. There was also "spygate" and you won't convince me that they weren't trying to cheat.

Good morning and Gong Hay Fat Choi (Happy Chinese New Year) all! I've been gone so long, life just got crazy on me. And it still is, but I wanted to pop in a moment and say hello and hope everyone's doing well! Hopefully I'll be able to pop in more from now on!

So, today's the first day of the Chinese New Year celebration--the year of the Dragon. I love to go down to Chinatown on my lunch hour this time of year. Last year, I was lucky enough to see a few Lion Dances, which is always fun. If loud. It doesn't compare to Christmas in my heart, but I do enjoy it.

Have a good day, all--hope to chat soon!

China town is so much fun in fact tonight we are going to a little place off Mott ST - it is so much fun, of course like you said it does not compare to Christmas but I do enjoy it!!!

Made, you are too funny!!! I forgot about that but hey, if it happened against a team I loved I never would. I have a few things like that - in baseball, I remember with heated passion only fans can understand!!!

What about the 500 it is almost here!!! I love Jeff Gordon & Jimmie, but a part of me really wants Danica to do well.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy weekend, working at the store all day Saturday. After 13 hours there, I need a full day of rest. How in the world does Bernie do it everyday?!? And we're planning his 75th birthday party for next month! Of course, he's not there ALL day everyday, but most of the day. Whew!

Sunday after church we went to mom's for lunch, then I had to make a quick trip to a town about 45 minutes away to do 15 minutes worth of work on my side business. When I got back to mom's, my son and I shot skeet till the cold and drizzle made us go back in.

Later last night, my daughter's other grandmother gave her a bird egg she'd found. That meant I was to spend the next couple hours creating an incubator consisting of a styrofoam cooler lined with tinfoil, and a C9 Christmas light (I couldn't resist!) in the side wall of the cooler. we tried those a few times when we were kids, never did get any of the eggs to hatch. You will have to post pictures if it hatches!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Just stopping by quickly. I have been busy. Lots of work. A little vacation, too. 10 of us rented a chalet a couple miles away from Jay Peak in Vermont. It was a nice four hour drive to experience the best skiing I have ever had. Great times being surrounded by friends, too!

I hadn't skiied in about 12 years... and on the first time down, we went down on a Black Diamond. Thankfully, I managed to make it through the whole weekend with only one slip (it was icey) on a major/groomed trail. It was only about my sixth time overall skiing, too. A successful weekend!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful time. We're nearing 11 months until Christmas! I can't wait! But, until then, there is a whole bunch of experiences to be had in this year! Have a great Monday, everyone!

Sounds lovely glad you had a good time

maybe we could start a Christmas football game for everyone here....

The North Pole bowl!!!!!!! MMC versus Santa and the Elves. I'll talk to my contacts in the public relations department.
