Hello, everyone! I have missed chatting with you all. It feels like I dropped off of the face of the Earth when it comes to the forum. I hope that you are all doing well and that things are good with work, family, etc. I am going to go ahead and catch up on reading posts but I think I am way too far behind to go replying individually. I wanted you all to know that I am still thinking of all of you and that you're included in my daily prayers!

This week has been a busy one, and it's only Tuesday! I started back at college yesterday and my professors are just jumping right back into it. My professor today kept us the longest that he ever has in class, and by the end I couldn't stand it anymore. I thought they might be a bit lenient because of coming back from break and the time change, but that wasn't the case at all. This time change is honestly killing me. I almost missed my class this morning because I slept in an hour past usual. I can't seem to get into the swing of things.

The weather has been amazing! Today it is 75 degrees out, my mom and I just went for a nice, long walk. It looks like I will have to unpack my summer clothes sooner than I anticipated. With this winter passing, it means Christmas is only getting closer!

I just wanted to come on and say hello while I took the ice off of my shoulder. I bashed it pretty good earlier and it's a big combination of a cut, a brush burn, and a scrape - not pleasant. I'm going to go ice it again, hopefully I'll come post later on after catching up!
hope your shoulder gets well quick, fast, & in a hurry!! good to see you!
I do not feel rotten, I do not ache all over, I do not have a cough, I do not have a sore throat!!
I refuse to be sick!!!!

oh star, i hope you're not getting sick, double dose the vitamin c. hope you feel better!!
Good evening,

I am completely, utterly, totally exhausted, mentally and physically. As usual I had one of my emotional meltdowns on this day, it just feels like everything comes back at once, and I just don't know how to contain the emotions, 21 years is a long time, and yet the pain feels like hours ago. I could not find the Christmas store, I was in the area where it was suppose to be, but I think it went out of business, I spent most of my day going into different stores, I only bought one used CD (Electric Light Orchestra-No Answer), so I did well with all that time and only spending $5.99.
I must head to bed, late day tomorrow.

Have a great night Christmas friends, I appreciate each and every one of you.
bless your heart xmas. this must have been hard on you today. i think the pain of losing someone so close to us never goes away...just becomes a bit more manageable, i will be thinking & praying for you today!
Good morning MMC!!! It's pines day!!! Oh how I wish it was Friday though....not much to report this morning I had a pretty peaceful and easy night Brandi got up with Jordan but I still woke up every time he did. I just sleep way too light not to wake up. I may as well just sleep in the bedroom downstairs during the week I dunnno. Anyways today may be a busy one at work so I may not get on much....weather is nice here it's just so sneezy like I am sure it is like most all places this time of year. My pear trees have not fully bloomed yet which is a full week behind last year. It's wierd too since this year has been so epically(is that a word?) warm. I love looking back on my dates on which things like this happen....this year has proven this one thing to me: no matter how warm it is here...either in the FAll or winter, never panic because leaves will still turn pretty in the fall and they will eventually all fall off and bloom again in spring.!!!! well I have about 30 minutes to get ready for the gym then work at 7 have a great day dear friends!!!

dawg are you talking about fruit trees or the flowering pear? hubby has a peach tree that's full of blossoms. haven't went to look @ his pear trees yet, they're further down the yard, but i'll definitely go check'em out today. you got me wondering! have a great day @ work.:rudolph:

Good morning, everyone! Hope you are all doing well! EA is sleeping, but DS just woke up about half an hour ago, so I am up with him. That's okay though. I am drinking a coffee and still getting caught up on here.

What's everybody's plans for today? DH and I are going to do some errand running and shopping. The kids will be at daycare.

I hope to be caught up on here by this evening. It should be no problem. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Well, I am off to reading. Hope you and your furbabies (as Shellie) cheesy would say, have a great day!!!

Happy Pines Day!!! I may not be Irish, but I will be there decked out in my Irish gear. I love St. Patty's Day!!!

I'M STILL HAVING THE HEADACHES DAILY, BUT I THINK IT'S ALL SINUS'. THE PAIN IS FOCUSED AROUND THE FACE REGION. BUMMER!

I hope you get it figured out soon. Headaches are sooo painful and can really disrupt your day. How have you been feeling the past couple of days?

good morning My MC family!! woo hoo it's pines day! wonder what that camel is up to? guess we'll find out later today!
i was planning to come back on last night but never made it after supper. i agree w/ alot of ya'll, this time change is something. i go to bed early enough & still find it difficult to wake up in the morning & i get so tired during the day. who would think a 1 hour change could do that huh?
i think it's suppose to be another beautiful day here in south cakalackee (south carolina), sunny & warm.
it will only be a half day @ work today so i'm tickled about that. get off @ 1pm, come home, & who knows what i might get into.
my sweet hubby heads to Germany this saturday. gonna really miss him. he'll be gone a week & i know that's not long to some but to me it seems like a lifetime. he's looking forward to it so i'm happy for him! it's hard to keep my kids in line w/out him here. ya' know when mama says to do something, they tend to put you off, but when daddy says do something, they move right a way. must be a man thing. oh well, i hope ya'll have a fabulous day w/ lots of smiles!!:!!

I hope you get it figured out soon. Headaches are sooo painful and can really disrupt your daily. How have you been feeling the past couple of days?

sugar, you are so thoughtful..... the headaches are still here. i guess they will be till the pollen & allergens of spring go away...yuck, that's a long time. i try not to go outside too much, but i'm an outdoors type o' gal. when the sunshine calls me, i go running & suffer later! thanks for asking!! you are a doll!

Sugar - How is the night shift going ?? I hope you and your family are well ?

For Ella, Harlowe, Snickers, Snowball, Gomez, Penny, Chico, Daisy, Jacoband all furkids (Including "my" polar bears) I send great big HUGS ((((HUGS))) xo

Thanks, Cm3! We're all doing well here. Night shift is going well. I've just been really busy. I just worked a 5 days stretch, which I know a lot of people work 5 days in a row normally, but when you work shift work, it's different for me. I need a day off in there sometimes to break it up. Last night was my night off, so I have a whole day off today and I go back tonight. Thanks for asking. How is everything on your end. I've been thinking about you and praying for Wes.

Thanks for always thinking of Ella. I think she got into one of the kid's trash cans of couple of weeks back and had a bowel obstruction. She wasn't acting right. She finally threw up a few wipes. I told DH we need to be more careful with where we throw those. She used to be so good about not getting into the trash, but the older she is getting, the worse she is getting. Weird huh? Anyway, she finally threw up the wipes. I think that was the problem and that was why she was acting the way she was! Hope all your furbabies are doing well!

Happy Sunday dear Christmas family

My sister called last evening and said that Wes was doing better yesterday afternoon. At first when she had seen him he was just out of surgery and was very shaky and pale but when she saw him later at lunch time he was better. He had eaten lunch and the color was back in his face and seemed a lot better. I have not heard from her today but when I do I will let you know. It can't be good, this whole thing, though, with him just having had AAA surgery just a year ago and now another heart attack. Still, I know there are folks who live through many heart attacks. I am praying that there was no or minimal damage to his heart. That seems to be a determining factor in prognosis.

Hermione is growing and growing. She is such a dear sweety. She does seem to have some issues but she is going to be enrolled in a puppy class hopefully April 1. She tends to be so, so headstrong as she is half Bloodhound and does not like it one bit when you tell her to do something she doesn't want to. She has even growled and not in a playful way. But I will not give up on her. I love her and I know we can overcome this. She is still not house trained but we work on that every single day. I read some article that stated Bloodhounds are slow at learning house training and to expect the age of between 4 and 6 months. She is not quite 4 months yet so we have a ways to go. The aggression is the one that concerns me more. I have never had to give up one of my babies because of a temperament problem and I am praying that this is just a phase and that I can get it under control. It would absolutely break my heart to have to send her to a new home. It would be like giving up a piece of myself xoxo

Glad to see as of Sunday your sister reported Wes was doing better. How is he doing today? I'll keep praying for him and your sister.

I know your a great mom to all your furbabies and I have faith in my heart that this will be the same outcome, Cm3. It may take some time with Hermione, but don't give up yet. She's not even at the 4 month mark yet where you said Bloodhound's usually are at housetraining. I think you're doing a great job. I believe God chose you and you're meant to do this. I'll keep praying for you. Good luck. Keep me updated!

the kids were fantastic! After the hyper activity during practice, it was nice they did so well.

I am so glad to hear that! After all their hardwork, they deserve it!

My sister called just a little while ago to say that Wes is probably coming home tomorrow and there is NO DAMAGE AT ALL to his heart !!! It is such a miracle. Thank you, thank you all for all of your prayers xoxo (((Hugs)))) xo

Prayers answered! :???:

I was up with the baby because Brandi had a bad night sick!

Hope she is feeling better. Is she feeling sick from the pregnancy or just sick in general. If it is the pregnancy, I guess that may not subside for a while, but hopefully she doesn't have it too long. Did she have morning sickness with Jordan?

Good Morning, Friends!

Looks like we made it to the top of the ladder.
And hey, look!
There's a slide on the other side, where we can coast right on down to the Weekend!

But first, we must pay a visit to the Shispering Pines to see what Carl and company have whipped up for their pre-St. Patrick's day bash.
We already know there is going to be green-frosted fired twinkies and green tea.
But what will Carl blend with the coffee to be in keeping with the theme?
(I don't want to think about it.)

As we know, Carl does not like to reveal what the week's door prize will be but a rumor has leaked out about leprechauns and Christmas ornaments.
Hmmmm.....

Counting on:
Days to the Season: 244
Days to Christmas Day: 286
TOMORROW!
The 1/3 mark to the Season.
Be here!

So warm here this morning, I feel like we are half way into Spring rather than still in the final days of Winter.
We stand at 59 degrees, are predicted to surpass 80 by this afternoon and could hit close to that mark for the entire rest of the week.
Wow!

You have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone.
And a Vivacious Visit to the 'Pines today!

. I told DH we need to be more careful with where we throw those. She used to be so good about not getting into the trash, but the older she is getting, the worse she is getting. Weird huh? Sugar am so glad she throw up the wipes. in the past i have seen that many a dog has had to be operatated on for things like this as they can stick and cause a blockage
Its a wonder she eat them at all. what kind were they. cleaning wipes or what.

Hello, beautiful Christmas Family! ♥
I have baked cakes and cookies today.
We are expecting guest this afternoon =]

A little celebration for DH since we are in Amsterdam for the weekend.
I think he will bring with him his St Patrick hat to Amsterdam
(some Irish pubs celebrate St Patricks Day there too)
His Birtday is on Saturday, the 17th and some years ago we celebrated
his day in Dublin, Irland. Wow, that was fun - and green!
And every year since, he always put the hat on this day.
Just for a while anyway cheesy

Here he is:

We were not alone in Dublin this day, as you can see here:

21 years IS a long time! I wish I could take away the pain for you
and replace it with love!
Let you release all the hurt and instead think of all the love and joy
you got and have for your mother! Dont you think she would like that?

Hope this beautiful new day will be a much better day for you Xmas!!

Thinking and praying for you!

Then, Nancy and kids were up till 11:30pm last night doing homework and projects that are due today. Sheesh. It's not usually like this, but since it's TAX SEASON  and she's an accountant, she's working weekends, too. I'm ready for life to get back to normal.

I'm sure you all are, especially Nancy. Hope things can slow once tax season is over.
