transplanting shamrock plants from bigger pots to split up into smaller decorative pots to use as center pieces at our seniors lunch tomorrow. To cold to do it outside, so my kitchen table will be a mess for awhile!

Hope the luncheon went well. I think this is so great you do things like this, Star!

Im watching some things that I have taped since Christmas.

I just watched a wonderful movie called November Christmas

I hope you're enjoying yourself! :???:I am hoping to get DH talked into a DVR for next Christmas, that way I can do this all year, too! cheesy

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend! I can't complain about mine. It was relatively cheap, yet enjoyable. Saving money is a good thing... Especially when I will be searching for work again as of now... At least I have my job until March 30th... The person that I have been filling in for will be returning on April 2nd, making me expendable. Back to searching for decent paying jobs, I guess! It's a good thing I have two degrees and a diploma. They always look real good on the unemployment line.

Sorry to hear this, Brent. I pray that something will come a long for you soon.

Mine was great, had a blast w/ my girlfriend!! Always good to catch up. We went to a new Hibachi restaurant Saturday night- it was excellent! And entertaining! On Sunday, we went out to brunch & met up w/ her Mom & friend who were also in town. We had so much fun! And I'm very tired today!!

Hubby & I also had a fabulous visit w/ my parents last week. We went hiking, saw a Cubs game, and just hung out @ their casita. I learned Euchre (again, lol- can never seem to remember the game) and we had so much fun playing it every night! My Mom wants me to be the sub for her card club someday when we move back =-)
Was bittersweet, though- hard to say goodbye since that was the last time I will see them before they head back to the midwest in April.

Sounds like you had a ton of fun. You will get to see them before you know it! cheesy

I have been dragging for two days. I took a 3 hour nap yesterday, so sleep shouldn't be my problem. For weeks now I am in bed & sleeping for eight hours, but I toss & turn & dream all night. I am not getting the full eight hours of sleep. I try not to eat or drink before bed. I'm thinking of giving up the iPad before bed too. No appetite the past two days & I always have an appetite. This too shall pass...

I hope you can get your energy back and you feel better soon.

Well they have released my niece from the hospital. They're still not sure what caused the memory loss or why she is still dizzy but it's not life threating. So they just told her to follow up with her regular doctor about the dizziness and bring her back if it happens again.

So glad to hear they released from the hospital. Still praying for all of you. Any new updates? You're all in my thoughts. God Bless her. She's been through so much, at such a young age.

On the plus side, I'll FINALLY be registering for this summer's Transplant Games of America. YAY!!!!!!!!

That will be so much for all of you involved I'm sure and so rewarding too.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!! It's going to be 80 degrees here today. That is 30 degrees above our normal high and we normally don't see out first 80 degree today until the end of April. I might have to break out the fans today. I need to run some errands some time today but don't have much else to do. So I'll probably end up sitting outside with my neighbors for awhile. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he is going to be fine, he did have a little stroke and they kept him in 24 hours just in case, but he is home now.

So glad to hear he is doing well and home for the hospital. It's good they kept him for observation. That was a smart move. Thanks for the update.

Oh, I'm afraid Carl's narcissistic tendencies are well known around here!

Hope she is feeling better. Is she feeling sick from the pregnancy or just sick in general. If it is the pregnancy, I guess that may not subside for a while, but hopefully she doesn't have it too long. Did she have morning sickness with Jordan?

Good morning! yes she was sick with Jordan and it came in spurts though...not the whole 9 months but not the first 3 months either.lol I would say she had Mornin sickness about 40 percent of pregnancy. She is feeling better the last few days.....thanks for asking!

Tomorrow is also the 21st anniversary of my mother's death, I will be very close to the hospital where she passed, so I feel a little strange about that.

Since just reading this post now, saying a prayer for you. I am sure yesterday was a very hard day for you. Hope today is better.

Thanks. She was doing better after the therapist but then she went to sit up about 9pm last night and she started getting dizzy again.:-? The therapist told my sister that might happen and already had her scheduled to go back in today in case the crystals didn't get stuck in there good.

Hello, everyone ... there just hasn't been anything to post about lately, just dull, everyday life. On the crochet front, I've re-started my snowflake afghan that I've been poking along on during the winter. It's made of hexagon and half-hexagon motifs, and the pattern for the half-hexagons wasn't very clear, so the pieces didn't fit together properly when I tried to assemble it. But I figured out a way to make the half-hex (must remember to write it down for the future!), and this afghan will look great when it's finished! Which I hope I can do before the warm weather settles in and it gets too hot to assemble it. Now that I have the pattern figured out, I can assemble the pieces as I go, because now the edges of each piece match stitch for stitch.
:???:

(Sorry, but that's as interesting as it gets just now!)

A green Carl for St. Patrick's Day! Very appropriate!

I don't know for sure but I think she is FINALLY getting the grasp of house training !! She has to get the next set of puppy shots this Friday and I am trying to take a day of vacation so that my husband does not have to take her alone. She has never been in the car with him alone and I am concerned she may not behave and possibly cause an accident. I would just feel better if I can go too.

That's awesome! Good job to her and to her awesome mommy!

The poor thing! I will be thinking of her this Friday.
