Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot day here with a high of 85 degrees. I can't for this weekend to arrive and the cooler temps that are supposed to come with it. I have some errands to run this morning and then I'll try to get caught up on here this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings fellow Christmas lovers, it's been a wonderful start to the week in Central Illinois. Like most of the rest of the country we are experiencing unusually beautiful weather for March. I have the next few days in Dallas for work and I'm guessing it's going to be REALLY hot down there. All the best for the rest of week friends!

It just hit 87 degrees at the Indianapolis airport. We shouldn't see those type of temperatures until late June or early July.

Good afternoon everyone. How are you all on this lovely afternoon? I am well, just tired. I am off for a day after I work tonight and I am sooo ready for it. There is a light to the end of the tunnel!

I am just sitting out on my deck, as both of the kids are playing. It's beautiful here - sunny and standing currently at 70F. DH just left for work about an hour ago, so my sister will be here in little and I will be doing something dinner, I am just not sure what yet.

For you football fans - did you guys see Heinz Ward (who was of the Pittsburgh Steelers), just up until a couple of weeks ago, retired today. That was in his best interest I think.

Well, I am going to read the post for the countdown for the past 24 hours or so. I hope you, your families, and furbabies are well! Talk to you guys all later! Have a wonderful evening!

LC's party went very well, party's are so overwhelming for little guys.

Glad the party went well! I am sure it was overwhelming for her. It is for my daughter, too. Even though she like to open the presents and likes the fun, she gets burnt out.

It is doing well, but it is sore every night after work, but that is to be expected. I go for a follow up check up on it Thursday.

Glad to hear that. Yes, that is to expected. I have friends at work with the same issues and by works end, they say it is always bothering them.

Tomorrow my little guy turns 4 years old, how fast they grow. I hope time slows down a bit, life is going at 150mph right now, and I am sick with a sinus cold, so I am really worn out. I am going to take some Nyquil and catch some zzzzzz.

I can't get my e-mail configured on my new laptop. Windows 7 does not support Outlook Express and I don't really like Windows Live Mail. I was also using Incredimail but I can't get it configured because I can't remember the password. Arrrgh !! I think I am going to call my ISP tomorrow to see if they can help.

Good luck with all of that! I am good with computers, but when it comes to that, I would have no idea what to either.

Lots of rain and wind here in the big D. Flash flooding too. Some places were damaged by high winds, not us thank goodness, haven't heard of any injuries. No tornadoes in Texas that I know of, there were some in Oklahoma, don't think anybody was hurt or anything, so that's good. Somebody got their car stuck in some high water not too far from us near White Rock Lake, they got out alright though. Sounds like the storms are moving away from us now, one of our chihuahuas is scared to death of the thunder, she just keeps pacing around the house, poor thing. It's weird that when she is scared like that, she doesn't want to be around people, she just keeps to herself. Well goodnight all, and have a great Tuesday!

Glad everyone is safe and sound. Your poor dog. My Ella (she is a golden retriever), is the same way. She sometimes goes and hides, but most of the times wants to be around us.

weird..nice sunny morning, enjoying the fresh air when suddenly it starts to thunder, loudly!
My cat is totally freaking out. Checked the weather radar map and we are about to be hit by a very narrow band of storm that looks like it is going to be mean.

Tuesday... And a rainy one, 5c.

The kids are coming home from school any second now.
All five of them!
I have a very 'slow day'. Don't feel like doing anything.
But I have done some housework and some grocery shopping.

And I have a meeting with my girl's teacher in about two hours.
After that I have to pick up my son from Daycare.
And we are going home to eat Tacos with the rest of the family.

I have a date tonight, with the TV.
The Desperate Housewives and The Big C.
With some Coke Zero, chips and dip!
Right now, I'm looking forward to that! =]

Rain, Rain, RAIN!!! As SIT mentioned, it has stormed all night and still storming now. I love it but my little doggy is so scared that she hasn't slept all night long. I feel so bad for her. She is going to be exhausted when it's all over.

My son took SIT and I out to eat Saturday night and my daughter and son-in-law treated me to dinner last night. I can get use to that! cheesy

But he live with us =]
So we are 6 kids and 2 adults in this house.

MerryCarey, my dad has lots of vinyl records. I remember when he started collecting them and kept telling us they will go out one day and bring in something new. I didn't think it would ever happen but of course it did. I have noticed that they are making a comeback! Enjoy your records!

Thanks! I would've gotten a CD or a download, but this particular record isn't available digitally, and it seems to have been released only in the U.K. in 1959, so I had to find an original copy overseas.

We have a few shelves full of vinyl in the basement from our pre-CD days. I must go through them to see what I'd like to digitize! I did a few this weekend, then found out two of them are available as downloads without the scratches and pops---oh well!

good evening ya'll! a bit tired this evening. the shop was very slow today!! sometimes i think that's as draining as a very busy day! daughter's doing her homework, son & his girlfriend on the couch watching tv, other son is....? not sure, he's making this a habit, all i ask for is a phone call!! anyhoo, i'm missing my hubby pretty bad now, can't believe it's just tuesday. bummer! we are having leftovers so i don't have to worry about cooking tonight.

I've got a couple of good ideas for themed shows, but I can't get started ... just can't figure out how to start and what to say in between ... Sometimes I think they're good ideas, other times I feel like listeners would say "Whose dumb idea was it to play THAT stuff??"

I'd LOVE to share the record that's coming. It doesn't fit into either of my two theme ideas, but I could fix it up so RJD could slip it into one of his shows. It seems to be quite a rarity, so it would only be fair to share!

Oldies.com just scored a ton of vintage vinyl! From the wepage:

We recently discovered a HUGE stash of new never-played Vinyl LPs in a warehouse in Eastern Pennsylvania, product left-over from a long defunct record distributor.

We couldn't pass it up! This 92-pallet load took over four tractor-trailers to transport to our warehouse. What a find it was! Over 250,000 LPs, mostly from the 1970s to the 1990s, including many rare & hard-to-find titles we haven't seen in YEARS!

Holy cow! So, are they just going to back the semis up to your back door??
