Much of my downtime at work right now is reserved for job hunting. No luck as of late. But, that's how it goes. I will continue my search!

The only good part is that my dad should be visiting during the first non-working week. Although I want to transition into another job immediately, it will be nice to spend a few days with him!

I wish you the best luck on the continued job search.

With your dad coming soon, I am sure that will be something for to truly look foward to.

Really hope your feeling a bit better today. YOU must have been bad to call in sick to work as your usually the one doing extra shifts..

I was...I can't even remember the last time I was as sick as that. I was actually still going to try to go to work last night, but I was just so weak and I had so much nausea still. I just couldn't do it. With a good night's rest, so I am feeling better today. Thanks.

Ho ho ho! Good morning all!
William had his 3rd birthday yesterday. He had a blast! I also got a surprise in the mail! A mystery greeter sent me a Rudolph Day card! Thank You!

Here is the card, along side my Christmas tree thats up all year round!

Here is William hamming it up. I asked him to smile.

Love the pictures! If I didn't already, Happy Belated Birthday to William! Hope he enjoyed his day!

What a nice gesture from your "mystery greeter".

I will be leaving for work in a few, JP is home sick from school today, he woke up in the middle of the night and got sick. Second time with this viral thing for him. My wife is coming home to take over watching him for the second shift.

Hope he is feeling better. EA had the sickness before I did and I knew with me not getting enough sleep and with all the overtime I've been doing, I would catch it. Sure enough, I did!

Really horrable on animials.. fireworks i find are the same. hopefully they are back to nornal now

Yes...Ella is scared to death of fireworks. Summer isn't a good time for her between that and the storms. She enjoys being outside, but when that comes on, watch out!

Good morning, Christmas family

It is warm and kind of muggy here today. We are expecting the same weather as Made today (since our states are neighbors we get a lot of the same weather) . Right now it is kind of overcast and the pups are outside.

Thanks for the info on the external hard drive. I will think about that. I am not sure how much I really want some of the stuff on my old laptop. We did call the people we always have work on our computers and they wanted to keep it for eons and I didn't like that so I didn't take it in. Doesn't make sense to get a new computer then be without it for weeks unless you have to of course.

Made - Could you do me a favor if you have time ?? Could you post a link for me to the page here on site that explains how to imbed vidoes ?? You gave me the link back in December and like a fool I did not save it. Thank you so much.

I am getting really excited for Christmas in July. I can't wait to read all the comments on here and to go ornament shopping with my sister !!!!

Now, Christmas family, I would like to ask your opinion. While I make pretty good money with the company I am with, I am not nor have I ever been happy working for them. In your opinion, is it better to be happy in your work and maybe make less or is sticking with a well paying job that you are not happy in the way to go ?? I know that the decision is mine ultimately but I just wanted to get some feedback.

I am SO GLAD it is Friday. I still miss my regular schedule which they tell me was "temporarily"changed. That is one thing that upsets me. It is small but there are a lot of small things that are starting to build up.

I hope all are well. Made, still praying for your niece. Seawaters, of course you are in my prayers still. MG Ramsey still praying for your mother and your family.

Talk to you later Christmas family (((Hugs))) Love you all xo

(((Hugs)))) from Clancy, Wishbone, Ivy, Smokey, Lily and of course, Hermione xo

I think you know the answer to this question already. as in your posts sometimes you can see that you are having probelms with this job..
I beleive its better to be happy in a job and in one you enjoy. i no its hard to get both. take a job you dont like. you have no heart in it and your get that the thought of going there is horrable.. and sometimes you cant give 100%..and it does effect your personal life.. if you can aford to go with a lower paid job but in a happy workplace and doing something your enjoy. do it.. you only live this life once.. and you might as well be happy

We had a very sad day last Wednesday, and I didn't post anything about it because I was
so upset. Hobbs the Wonder Dog passed away, we think it was a stroke. We buried him in our back yard with his best friend Sandy, and thought we weren't getting any more dogs. Inflation and all, you know. But before two days were out, we both changed our minds. The house was just too quiet, and there was nobody to lick the plates when we were done eating.

So this morning, we went to the Anne Arundel Co. Animal Shelter, and came home with Victor. Victor is a mixed breed; he's part Jack Russell, but that's all we know. He is bigger than a Jack Russell, but what else he is is anyone's guess.

Anyway, here are a few pics of Victor to brighten your day.

Victor was as good as gold on the ride home. He was even reasonably well behaved in PetsMart. I took him next door to meet my Mom, and he washed her face very nicely. We are all very happy!

Oh-he came with the name "Victor", and I wondered "Why Victor?". But then it dawned on me- He looks like the "Victor/Victrola" dog.

So sorry to hear about your pet. been there. dont wanta go again
But great that you were able to give another dog a chance of a better life.. so goodluck with him

A lot is going on we are even thinking of moving!!! Oh my!!! Ops did I go overboard!!! TMI?!?!!? Hope not sorry!!! It feels good to tell someone. LB

Congrats on all the success with the business and congrats if you do decide to move. That's so exciting. Keep us updated!

Harlowe & I are doing pretty well =)[/COLOR]
No major health problems for her (knock on wood), probiotics seem to really be helping her little stomach!

Glad to hear Harlowe is feeling well right now and the probiotics are helping her.

Did you do anything special for your birthday?

I have just bathed two boys and put three boys down for the night

The girls are out.
My youngest plays basketball, and my oldest is taking a art class.
She is so creative (like her mother?) and very talented!

You are one busy woman! You sound like a great momma!

Let me guess; there is another guy about two blocks beyond where the police are waiting holding a sign that says "Donations".

Plus, I would like to know where to get gasoline at that price!

The weekend is here :???:

Thank heaven for that! It's been a busy week at the office, and next week looks even busier (translation: an impossible deadline ... literally, not figuratively)!

You folks with the flu and bronchitis and other ills---please get well soon!

Maybe it's too early for sunshine and 70F+ weather, but I'm loving it---the trees and flowers are starting to blossom! But it's back to chillier weather next week. We're supposed to get a freeze Monday night.

So sorry to hear about Hobbs, and happy to hear about Victor. He DOES look like the RCA Victor dog (his name was Nipper):

Has it arrived yet? It sounds awesome! I hope you enjoy!

No, and I'm disappointed---I thought it would come this week. But it's coming from England, so I guess I just have to be patient!

that was taken in Chilliwack BC, Canada, the price is per liter and is outrageous! They are predicting it will go up to $1.50 a liter by summer.
Works out to about $5.12 a gallon
