hey ya'll! how's everyone doing? i'll be listening to the greasy skillet tonight....really looking forward to it. my 1st time was last week & i loved it so hubby & i are both gonna listen tonight!
went over to see my daddy this afternoon. helped him w/ a few things he needed done. he's not used to needing help but my mama is down @ my sister's helping her after her surgery. i love him so much i don't mind doing anything for him. i think my mama is getting a little homesick but she knows she needed more w/ my sister.
we are going down there on friday & my daddy is really looking forward to that!
my sweet baby girl fell down the bleachers @ cowboy church thursday night. her ankle is swollen & looks like a goose egg, bless her heart! she's not liking the ice on it but "ya' gotta do what ya' gotta do!! this upcoming week is her spring break too. she's really bummed that all she's gonna get to do is lay around. i will probably be busy trying to entertain her.:::QUESTION:::HOW DO I, AS HER MOTHER, ENTERTAIN A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL??? i mean she's a social butterfly & doesn't relate real well w/ the 40's crowd, ya' know what i mean?
Sorry to her that. guess at that age they are into music and what about any films that you and her could maybe watch together.

Happy Sunday to all! I'm thinking of you and reading your posts. We had plans to spend the day with a friend of ours, but he's been sick all week, so we have to postpone that. But the good news is that it gave me the opportunity to sleep in this morning, which was much needed after the busy workweek last week. NOT looking forward to starting another round of that tomorrow.
But today we should be able to relax. Haven't figured out what we're going to do yet, but it'll probably involve going to the 99 restaurant for lunch later on. And probably movies.
I was able to catch part of the Greasy Skillet last night on my Kindle Fire. Is the real-time participation only on Facebook? I'm not on Facebook, so I can't join in. Ever thought of having some of the real-time chat over at ChristmasChatter.com? We've got several chat rooms over there that seldom get used ... they're open year-round whenever we want to chat.
Time for some tea and TV, I think.
