What kinda candy, Made? I gave up sweets for Lent so I haven't tried new recipes lately. My goal this year was so make some new recipes all year so I am not in a mad dash to try out new cookie and candy recipes come Oct/Nov/Dec! I made one of my fave cookies - chocolate crinkles - yesterday. Mmmm.

I'm going to try homemade gumdrops. I've tried them before and they never really set up. So I found a new recipe that I want to try.

I dont envey your job for the next week guess there not be much time to do this...

I love seeing the grandchildren but it does get tiring for that many hours. The good thing is my mom does help out a lot. If I have them that many hours she will pick them up for a few hours some days and watch them. She is almost 70 years old and has more energy than me! She does 2 hour work outs at the gym 4 days a week. =)

there's quite a bit i need to do today but i'll wait & see how it goes. seem to be in a "funk" right now. feel exhausted ALL the time, see things i need to be doing but i don't do them. hhmmm, laziness comes to mind.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a chilly day here in Indy. That's okay with me though. I don't have anything planned for today so I'll try to find something christmassy to do. Maybe I'll try out some new candy recipe's. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I have a feeling that being at your house anytime of year feels like Christmas!!!

My husband starts vacation tomorrow so we are going to spend the week getting the yard ready for spring (and his birthday grilling out party on Friday!) and just enjoying his not having to go to work for seven days.

That is why we were so busy at work yesterday. We must have had a bunch of people on vacation and ready for yard work! If you missed my post that is the type of place I work for. We not only sell livestock and small animal feed but lots of gardening supplies, plants, fertilizer and pest control. We also have a pet shop.

CM3, I hope Ivy is okay!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy weekend around here. I had tires put on my truck Saturday morning, and it was so hot outside my son and I had to wait in the tire company's office...and this morning it was 40°! Anyway, I worked in the yard till the rain came, then is stormed till midnight.

Yesterday we had a family reunion on Nancy's dad's side. It was pretty good, although I don't know as many of them as I do her mom's side. Lots of good food, though. You should have seen the dessert table!

Sugar- I just talked to one of my great aunt's and she said that it's starting to snow back there. Stay Safe out there on the roads on your way to and from work.

Thanks for thinking of me! :-D The roads are pretty much wet here. It has been snowing since last night when I went to work, but it's not laying. Depending on where you live, it could be anywhere for no accumulation to 12 inches they're saying. We have none so far. I guess we'll see. It's staying warm enough right now.

Hope you all had a good weekend. i had a really lazy one done nothing much only watch tv. but back to the grind mill today
The guy with the drink problem him and the girlfriend i think have got back together. she texted last night to say she was gonna see him and give it another go
I texted him to ask but no answer. my mate has said that he just used me when he had no one else and now that hes happy again what odds about me.. i wood not like to think so as i did spent this past 4 days trying to sort him and her out and help with his drink probelm. but where the drink is concerned i no its only a matter of time befour hes goes on another rip
Am kinda worrid about cm3 she had said yesterday that ivy was having probelms breathing. and i told her not to think twice about contacting the vet have heard nothing back. i hope everything is ok !!!
Forgot to say during the week a new supplier i have found does the tv shopping channel returns(these are items that when they arrive the person does not like them or the box is damaged or arrivered to late) and i have bought some of them. but one of the pallets has 4 thomas kinkade christmas tree,s on it. i dont have that so am keeping one. i only have the santa and the night befour christmas story light up story house. so a pallet of this stuff is coming in today. think its a household one
Got one the other day it was a lot of solar lights and ornaments. they are going so well that i ordered another one that has more solar lights on and a mixture of other bits will get it tomorrow.
So monday again!! the weeks are going so fast.

Tyler Seguin scores a beauty in OT, GAME 7 Wednesday night! This is only the first round. Another great one goal game. This team lives on the edge, so stressed out by this team.

I watched a good bit of it, didn't get to see the end because I had to pick CAH up from work. I checked the results online when I got home and saw the Bruins won in OT. Winner moves on and the loser goes home after the next game. I won't be too upset if the Bruins win, I have always kind of liked them anyway. I am just glad the Penguins are out (sorry Penguins fans).

It is really cold here today... Thank you for thinking of Ivy
She seems to be doing okay....I think I was just panicking a little but I am still going to talk with her doctor today ...I will let you know what he says... I have to find out exactly what symptoms I should be watching for... She is always and has always been a little on the heavy breathing side...I just have to figure out what is baseline and what is not
