Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a little bit cooler here today with a high of only 77 degree's. That's still a bit warm for me but I'll take it over the 90's any day. I don't have much on the agenda for today. I mainly need to get my laundry caught up now that it's not to hot to run the dryer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Makes me sick ! If we have freedom of religion regardless of what religion why are we allowing it to be wiped off the map ? I think the ones who are being denied thier freedoms is us. Dont put up a cross but its ok for Atheists to rent all kinds of billboard space to send out their message please!! What is this country coming to?

hubby, daughter, & i will be going to my niece's @ the beach in 2 weeks to house/dog sit for them as they go to the mountains w/ their kids. both my boys will stay here w/ our animals. looking forward to it as she lives close to alot. my sister is 6 houses away & has a pool, the waterpark is 3 blocks, the beach is 10 blocks, it'll be good to get away a little. they have a golfcart we can take to almost everything if we want. daughter is taking a friend. really looking forward to it.

That sounds like some fun house/dog sitting!!! Enjoy it!

Not much to report from yesterday afternoon. It rained all evening, so I sat on the couch and watched old scifi shows on Netflix. Nice! I just love my Netflix account!

Speaking of Sci-Fi, Wayne and I went to an air museum recently and took some pictures of some Star Trek things for you. I will get them forwarded to you soon!

I am sitting on my front porch right now with my laptop, drinking coffee and listening to, Michael Buble's Santa Claus is Coming to Town, video that Made posted, kinda loud while my granddaughter is in the front yard dancing to it. People are walking by and probably thinking I am crazy but I don't care!!! Yay for the craziness! :dance:

Another loser lawyer trying to get his 5 minutes of fame. And I really can't say here what I think of the ACLU. It's been there for 53 years with no complaints...until now...from one loser. And now suddenly it's an offense and must be removed.

I'm offended by the ACLU. Can we please have them removed? :x

I ran and picked up those ornaments after I dropped the boy off at school and daycare. They are really cool and really old, I wish I could find the year they were made. The other thing about them you don't see much anymore the top of the ornaments it says "Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A." I will take some pictures and post them later. I have a few things to get done this morning before I can do that. I love buying Christmas stuff in May!

The t-storms missed us, but the rain cooled everything off, ahhhhhhh! I have finally gotten into the TV show The Big Bang Theory, we've been watching the reruns on TBS almost every night it is pretty funny. I don't go into work until 5pm tomorrow, so my day will be home relaxing before another quick shift.

Enough of my rambling.

Hello everyone I hope you all had a Happy and safe Memorial Day.

Well something really Christmassy happened yesterday, I was driving my son to a friends house for a BBQ, and I stopped at a stop sign and I looked to my right cause I seen something red and green, and guess what? It was a poinsettia bush or a big bunch of poinsettias that someone planted. I wish I would have had my camera, but I didn't.

hope the morning finds everyone well & happy. today will be a 1/2 day for me so that's good! oh i meant to tell y'all, the wedding i had to do went very well! all the flowers came in beautiful. haven't heard any feedback from the bride but i hope she was happy.

We do, too!! We weren't sure if it would still be as good when their Starz contract was up, but I still like the variety of tv shows & movies available! Can't beat the convenience of it!!

It's so nice only having to work 4 days this week =)

I may just need next weekend to recuperate from the crazy week!

We are still having a great time w/ my in-laws, they even got my hubby out shopping yesterday. Almost unheard of... He came home w/ some new shorts & vintage t-shirts- Star Wars, The Goonies, Smokey & The Bandit, etc. Fun ones!

work lasted a whole 3/4 of an hour today...she was going to a BBQ in the park so all I had to do was pack her lunch and get her ready to go.

I did a quick Google to see if I could find a website with info on how to date the ornaments, but I couldn't find anything that comprehensive. I did find a reference that said the metal tops saying "Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A." are post-WWII, and another that said Shiny Brite stopped making glass balls in 1962. So they're somewhere between 1946 and 1962. (I know, that doesn't help much!)

amen to that brad!!!! this is exactly why our country is in the turmoil it is now. our Constitution, that so many try to use in the defense of their idiotic beliefs, was written by the founding fathers of this country w/ God as the fore front of it all. these that try to take our God out of anything governed by state & federal will suffer a wrath like no other!!!!!!!!!!!! i pray for them.
