All of these funny graphics are really helping me. This round of chemo is BAD!!! I have some neuropathy in my fingers, and the pain from the Neulasta shot is not any fun whatsoever. BUT, it will get better! Only three more rounds of chemo to do, then surgery, then radiation!

I'm sorry that this one is extra rough. Thinking about you & sending up extra prayers up, Cherylle!! Big hugs coming your way. xo

Work was work tonight, back there first thing in the AM. JP had a fever of 103 tonight, my wife will be staying home with him tomorrow, hopefully it is just a quick thing he has. I cannot stop thinking of Christmas lately, the anticipation is already there for me.

Well, it's 3:35 am... and I am still awake. Perhaps my two hour nap at 7pm was a poor choice.. Thanks a lot Body!! hahaha However I do have to pick DB Up in 2 hours from work. His first 12 hour night shift... Hope the poor guy is surviving!

Man oh man, the last couple weeks have been busy ones for me.. tons of work (woohoo) but no play hahah. However I did have the time to dye my hair red Unfortunately... the end are a bit darker then the roots, but OH WELL. I like it!

You need some play time soon, girl!! Hope you guys are able to go do something fun together this weekend! =)


Your hair sounds really pretty, I love red! My natural color is strawberry blonde, which is what I've gone back to. I added some brown lowlights recently and I'm really digging them. Sometimes you just need to switch things up!

Good morning, MMC! (part 2)

That was interesting. I shifted to get an exclamation point after my MMC and instead, my just begun post posted. Oh, well, two good mornings can't be all that bad!

It is going to be a nice day here in Mid-Michigan. I had to get up at dawn and move one of the kittens to the "clump of kittens" on the back porch - the poor little guy was so cold he was crying. Some how he ended up a couple of steps down and couldn't get back up to the others. When I put him with the others, he burrowed into the center of the clump. I'm sure he was toasty in a matter of minutes!

Working today - store stuff when I can fit it in and my other job later this morning. I keep yawning, though, so I had best get more coffee in me before I attempt to log in!

How's it going w/ the snake issue? Hope they're staying away, and all the animals (and you!) are safe and sound.

I meant to mention that my Mom & Dad, who live in Wisconsin, had a nice big surprise last week themselves...Mom came across a 6.5 foot Bull Snake in their front yard! They live in a busy residential area, so it was strange. He was probably thirsty. My Mom came & got my poor Dad (whose biggest fear is snakes!) and he moved it into the country w/ a friend of his. I didn't know this, but I guess they rattle their tails just like a rattlesnake does, to ward off predators. That would've scared the you know what out of me!

Hope you've all recovered from The Pines!! What a night!

Today, I have a payroll class to take. Hope it's painless & doesn't run too long..

So, I called Hobby Lobby yesterday, and our local store said they were starting to put out their Fall & Christmas In July stuff next Monday! Yippee!!!!!!!!!! Doing the happy dance!:???:

My girlfriend & I made plans to go there next weekend & check it out. Can't wait!! She builds & collects doll houses & miniatures, and there's a lot she found on the website that she wants to buy. Our husbands better watch out, because we're not going home empty-handed :lol:

We are not hurting anyone by loving Christmas all year long. When people get irritated by Christmas they really should turn the news on first then realize Christmas is not so bad after all! :-D

Exactly! I don't understand why people get so irritated. I'm not forcing anyone to feel the same way about Christmas as I do, so why does it matter? All I can say is that I am so thankful for MMC! You all are the best!

Good Morning MMC!!!! We are warming back up here in central Indy with a high of 81 today and it looks like 90 on Saturday. Ugh!! I have to go babysit here in a few minutes. My sister missed a step on the stairs last night and screwed up her ankle. So she is going to her doctor and then probably for x rays. Hopefully it's nothing major or I'll have to be out there a lot more in the coming weeks. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

She just had her 3rd infusion of the new medicine and it has helped a little bit but not much. The doctor told her that it could take 6 months before it really kicks in. The good news is that it doesn't seem to be causing any kind of reaction like all of the other one's did.

Glad to hear that things are going well for her. Hope she continues to feel well!

Well all my sister did was sprain her ankle. So she gets to wear an aircast around for a couple of weeks. I think my mom is going to handle the babysitting duties tomorrow but I think I get next monday.

I never had the box, but I have all the pieces (unless there was once more than six cups, that is!). It's clear, not a color---I think I read once that colored glass is worth more. Doesn't matter, 'cause I'm planning to hang onto the set!

A found a photo online that's almost identical---only mine has no hooks to attach the cups to the punchbowl:

Each cup is about the size of a thimble.

My punch bowl and glasses is pretty much identical to this picture and was given to me from my grandmother, who would be in her middle 90's today. It's beautiful and in great condition!

How her foot feels changes depending on what she has to do. If it involves anything that might be considered work you would think she is dying. If it involves her going shopping it's fine.
