Christmas Day with Colonel Sanders

Has anyone seen this thread yet that is posted on MMC? I saw that Colonel Sanders of KFC had put out a Christmas album and posted about it. Thanks to Xmas365 he posted 2 links on the thread of 2 different albums! It's the old fashion Christmas music I enjoy! There is a 3rd album too but haven't found a link to it yet.

You can go on there and enjoy listening to them too!

A new podcast and 2 albums from the Colonel, I guess I know what I'm doing this afternoon.

Off to chemo in a few minutes. TTYL

Hope you brought some Christmas tunes along :)
Thinking of you, hope everything goes ok today. xo

:tree:

Howdy all,
Sunday evening here and the family has all ate supper and now the kids are all singing or playing or doing what they do. it's been storming here in our part of Louisiana, and I'm really glad to see the rain. I Rekkon I'm strange cause I love rainy days lol. Guess it reminds me of fall of the year and cooler weather. It so seems as if I don't slow down anymore and to be honest this place and my friends here are my saving grace. so thanks y'all for that!!!

Got a busy week ahead and we are hoping the job that my husband is up for, he will get it. we will know Wed. evening. so cross your fingers and say a little prayer for us!!!! If he does get the job it would mean a BIG pay raise, and us being able to make it better. and I know he so wants this job.

Well all I'll leave this one for now and I will be back tomorrow. until then may everything be merry and bright in your part of the world!

Praying your husband gets the job!

Well I finally found a place to get away from my niece's and the padded walls in the room are really fun to bounce off of too. It's kind of hard to type with this straight jacket on though, so I'm going to say Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!

Admit it, Made, life wouldn't be as enjoyable if they were "The Stepford Children"!

maybe I should do like the cat and just run around the house a few dozen times.

They look like they are having so much fun when they do that!

Off to chemo in a few minutes. TTYL

God bless you, Seawaters!! {{{HUGS}}}

Monday hello! This will be the first full five-day workweek I've had since the middle of June, thanks to vacation and the July Fourth holiday. So I have to get used to having the nose back to the grindstone for a full week! Hugs and smiles to everyone.

Hugs and smiles back!

That's no fair!!!!! You have a giant Christmas store. Your Hobby Lobby shouldn't have as much.

I take it that since I have the World's Largest Christmas Store practically in my backyard, the local HL's should not put out any Christmas items

Good afternoon, MMC!

I can hardly believe it, BUT I have some energy today!!! I went for my blood test yesterday, and really started to feel well. (I lost another six pounds, by the way, so maybe I might not really need the John Deere tractor seat for a bike. On the other hand, it would be SOOOO comfy!!!)

So glad to hear you are feeling well! I've been thinking a lot about you!

Good Morning, Christmas people!!

Happy Monday to you =]

Monday.jpg

Jennifer, hope your eye is better today!

Made, I don't have a Christmas store either & my Hobby Lobby doesn't have much out- lame!! So, don't feel too bad, you're not alone, lol
Hope you enjoy your day!!

Brad & Ballcoach, welcome back! Hope you guys had fun vacations!

CM3, just 5 days before the big Hallmark open house! Woohoo!! Hugs to you, Wish, Hermione, Clancy, Smokey, and Lily! xo

xmastidings, I'm right there w/ ya. I didn't sleep well last night, so I got up early too. I've got a Thomas Kinkade Christmas CD going, and I'm freaking out my co-workers. Te he he... Love it!

Good morning & hugs to all MMC friends!!

It definitely is a Monday...

Harlowe yelped this morning while sitting on the patio, and kind of got up & freaked out. I ran out there to look her over & saw a bee on the ground nearby. Strange, since it was still dark out & only 4:30 am. I quickly grabbed some Benadryl & gave her a 1/2 of a tablet, looked for a stinger, but couldn't find one in her fur. Could've been a wasp, too, so no stinger would be there. Has anyone ever had that happen, where you couldn't find the stinger? I took care of that bee, it was on it's way out anyways. Wonder why it was out so early & on the ground...hmm. I kept a close eye on her, she didn't have any major reaction, didn't want her to go into anaphlaxic shock or something. Scary.

Hope you all have a nice Monday, and a great start to the week~ Take care!

Just another small plug here

You have until next Saturday (July 14th) to sign up for our Christmas in July (e)card exchange. All you have to do is PM me with your details and I'll take it from there. Any questions, just ask!!!!

:D

Thanks for reminding me. With me being so busy, I totally for about it. I will got on it and PM you.

I can totally relate to that, I have a serious case of the "Monday's" and to add insult to injury, we were abruptly woken up at 3:30 this morning by a thunderstorm and needless to say, I could not get back to sleep. So, I got up and went to work; (not one of my brightest ideas)! it's going to be a really long day today!!! I think its about time to get another cup of coffee, put the headphones, turn up the Christmas music and daydream of an old-fashioned country Christmas....

Oh, no---I hope the coffee, music, and daydreams turn your Monday around into something more tolerable!

Happily, the workday here is (so far) not as crazy-busy has it has been.

same here merry, only my work week starts on Tuesday & is finished on Saturday. oh well, it'll just make us more thankful for the time we do have off huh?

Yes, very thankful! I'm hoarding my few unscheduled vacation days like Scrooge for the holiday season. I insist on having a couple days off in December.

Snowflake, I hope that Harlowe is okay! Hopefully she was just alarmed by the whole thing - bees and wasps aren't exactly friendly! I will say a prayer for her that she is healthy and that she didn't get stung :]

My eye feels better today but it is still itchy and sore. I am very frustrated because I cannot wear my contact lenses for over a week. That is going to be very annoying for me to do school work and actual work because my prescription isn't updated and new glasses would be over three hundred dollars. I guess I'll deal with squinting!

I feel very bad for my friend and her family. The dog that they have had since she was a little girl became very sick over the past week or so. She usually ran over to company to greet them and was very sweet and playful. They noticed that she wasn't eating very much, she wasn't moving around like she used to, and she just didn't seem like herself. They didn't have the money to take her to the vet because they are struggling financially. Over the past couple of days she got worse and worse to the point where she didn't eat a thing and would just lay on the same spot on the floor. My friend's dad had to take her to the vet to put her down. Now she told me that her other dog, which she also had from childhood, keeps running around the house and looking for her and crying since they were best friends. Such a sad story :[

I am buried in work today, so I guess it's a good day to have pink eye and be stuck around the house!

I Love it! It's amazing just how much the Christmas music can pick you up and sort of give you a shot in the arm when you need it the most......

I got stung as well this weekend! (walking around the waterslide in my bare feet), I got zapped on the side of my foot by a honey bee. I put an ice cube on it and then jumped into the swimming pool! There was an audible Ahhhhhhhhhh...... I hope Harlowe is ok, she's adorable looking.....

It would be a whole less stressful and I wouldn't have to scrub my carpets because they threw their Popsicle sticks down on it and spilled their juice everywhere.

I would think they would concerate more on the craft stuff there and not on the actual ornaments and such. I just wouldn't think they would sell as much of it with that kind of competition.

Thanks for the hugs!! Yes, it's really cool. It's just scenes from New York @ Christmas time set to an orchestra of xmas music! Love it!! So relaxing!
How was Sweden?! :)

Oh, thats sounds great!
I hope to be in NY at Christmas one day =]

Sweden was a bit cold. We drove up to the mountains.
And we saw snow there!
(Sweden's top resort and the largest north of the Alps)
They also had Christmas in July candy! That was so funny to find there!

Hope everyone have a GREAT GREAT Monday!
I had a lazy one.. And now Im ready for a movie... =]

That stinks, hope it clears up soon. Pinkeye is not fun. Hang in there, I'll keep you in my prayers!

So sorry to hear about your friend's dog, that's very sad. I will keep her & her family in my thoughts & prayers. Hopefully she is at peace, now, running around heaven & playful again. I'll also pray for their other dog, poor thing must be so confused. Hopefully they spoil that pup w/ lots of extra affection. xo

I am buried in work today, so I guess it's a good day to have pink eye and be stuck around the house!

Good luck, Jennifer- get lots of rest!!

You guys are making me blush.

Be forewarned though. I plan on taking 2 weeks off in August to go play in the woods in southern Indiana.
Looking for bigfoot???
That's no fair!!!!! You have a giant Christmas store. Your Hobby Lobby shouldn't have as much.

I guess instead of playing in the woods, you need to come to Texas!
A new podcast and 2 albums from the Colonel, I guess I know what I'm doing this afternoon.
Thanks for the reminder on the podcast. That is next for me. Also Maureen posted something to listen to. I need to find the thread and post the link for others to hear.
He had a blast yesterday. You should have seen him dig into his smash cake. It was hilarious. He was a typical boy. He had it EVERYWHERE.
Glad you all had fun!
