Hey gang! Hope this finds everyone doing good. We have pizza being delivered, so I wanted to post before the food got here. I'm going to be reading and eating pizza and chicken wings.

No, you can't have any! Well, you can have some pizza, but keep your grubby little paws off of the wings. I'm serious when it comes to those! LOL.

Friday, Friday, how I love Friday! Tomorrow is a big day...the wife's and my anniversary. Got reservations at a really nice restaurant, then we are going for a carriage ride, and then....don't laugh....a baseball game. Hey, there is two of us in this marriage and it just so happens one of them likes baseball. It was either that or probably Magic Mike....and somethings are non-negotiable.

Well, pizza guy just knocked on the door and wife just paid, so I gotta go! Actually, I will still be here but reading the boards! See ya in a little while!

On top of it all, I got tagged by a mystery shopper, you know those folks they send out to see if you actually do what you are supposed to do. I got an 87% mark for my service, missed asking if they wanted to get a meal deal. Of course they never mention I was there alone with a long line of customers!!! Oh well, 87% is better than I did in high school!
She also had the never to say I was over 60!!!!!!!!! I want to talk to her!

Kandice is down with Tonsillitis....well she was down yesterday.....suddenly she told me she wanted to sleep...which surprised me...and she did...for more than an hour in the afternoon....when she woke up...I felt that her forehead and legs and the entire body was much warmer than usual...I took her temperature and it was around 38.5 degrees celsius....a low fever....then 30minutes later it was at 38.7.......so i decided to take her to the doctor....there she had a fever of 39 degrees and the doctor found out her throat was reddened a little...but no pain yet...he took some spit on a q-tip and did a quicktest and found bacterias on it....turned out it was angina tonsillitis...she is now on antibiotics...and since we went to the doctor so early...she felt fine in the morning and doesnt really know she is sick.....lol...another day of resting tomorrow and she will be allowed to go to pre-school on Friday....and then next week...will be her last week of pre-school ever.....on August 14th...Kandice will officially be a 1st grader....time is passing by quickly and i dont know if I like it....lol

good a.m. y'all! well the pain from the dentist is getting better. i had a bit of scar tissue on the inside of my bottom lip that had been there all my life practically. recently i had began biting it as i would eat & it caused alot of pain & swelled. the pain i was having yesterday was because the dentist removed it for me. OUCH!!!!! once it heals over i'll be fine but you should see me trying to talk w/out letting my lower lip touch my teeth. my boys think it's hilarious. i also had 2 fillings done & daughter had 3 done. when we got home the boys made fun of us for a while w/ our mouths still numb. headed to work this morning. tomorrow morning daughter & i have dermatologist appts. the office is about 1 hour away & our appt. is @ 7:30. my daughter hasn't gotten up that early all summer! lol.

I had a Coby Kyros mid7012 but the charging port on it broke after 7 months. So I took it back and they upgraded me to the mid7033. It's okay but I'm still not thrilled with the charging port on it. The cord has to be at just the right angle for it to charge. For a $100 tablet they are okay but I really wouldn't recommend either one.

Thanks for always thinking about my niece. She is doing okay lately. The orencia really seems to be helping her. She was also really excited because she got to go to an arthritis camp over the weekend and see a little girl that she met there last year from Alaska.

I feel bad for the family from Alaska. They don't have any doctors there that will treat JIA. So they have to fly down to Seattle every month for doctors appointments and treatments.

I'm so glad the Orencia is helping your niece and that she got to visit with her friend from Alaska. I feel bad for the family from Alaska, too ~ I will keep them in my prayers!

Just sneaking out to the Pines hehe. Carl handed me a cup of candy cane hot chocolate that he made. MMmmmm.
Oooh ohoohh! Get this! I was at the dollar store yesterday and they have HALF A ROW of Halloween stuff! My Wife was disgusted, while I was giddy. hah! Still a heat wave in August. At least that's what they are saying. With little rain in sight. Sheesh. This weekend is my 5th Wedding Anniversary! I am giving my Wife a traditional gift. A wooden Angel that's holding a heart! Whoops, better get back to work. Have a great day all!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! The weather today is going to be great. Partly sunny and a high of 69 degree's. Well at least that is the forecast for the inside of my apartment. Outside it's just going to be hot. I have to babysit for awhile today and then I don't know what I'm going to do. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always recommend "The Devil Bat"---it's a good old-fashioned, low-budget horror movie from the 1940s starring Bela Lugosi, with a good dose of sly humor mixed in. Lugosi raises giant vampire bats trained to attack people wearing an experimental shaving lotion that Lugosi has whipped up---and he gives free samples to all his enemies ...

I also enjoy a good non-horrific ghost movie like "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" or "The Canterville Ghost."

Good morning! Happy Hump Day! Happy Pines Day! Happy 1st day of August!!! So many things to celebrate today!!!

I went for a walk this morning just before the sun came up. Did anyone see the moon?? It was HUGE! It looked like a big orange October moon!! Like you see in a cartoon Halloween special! Very cool!

I better get to the Pines quick before Undrtkr drinks all the candy cane cocoa! I hope Carl brewed some candy cane coffee too!!

Good afternoon, Merry! Have you ever watched The Uninvited starring Ray Milland? It was pretty good!

No ... I'll have to look for that one ...

For some reason I'm thinking now of "Nine Girls," which isn't a Halloween movie, but is a good 1940s whodunit. A bunch of sorority girls go to a mountain lodge for an initiation weekend, but one doesn't show up ... she's been murdered. She was the b**** of the group, so all of the girls have motives. The weather traps them and their house mother in the lodge for the weekend ... which one is the murderer? Will there be more murders before she's discovered?

I'd recommend it, but no video has been released. You'd have to find a collector with a 16mm film print ... cheesy

good evening y'all! work was slow so it was good we closed @ 1pm. stopped by the grocery store to get stuff for dinner.

has anyone ever made the mexican/taco ring on the crescent roll cans? they are very good & my kids love making them (w/ my help)! they look like "sunshine" as you begin putting them together. anyhoo, we did a cheeseburger ring tonight. my son says it's very good.

headed to the dermatologist in the a.m. as a matter of fact we have to leave @ 6"30 a.m. to get there in time. i dread trying to get my daughter going that early. i hope i remember everything to show the doc.......
