Good evening,

I am up way too late, you guys were busy today. I have to head back to work tomorrow A.M. I have been told a new position is opening up at work, and one of my bosses felt I am most ready to take it if I was interested, it's a lot more responsibility and a significant raise, but I don't know if I am interested in it, I have to think about it.

Rite Aid was putting there Halloween candy out when I picked up my Rx today, WOOOHOOO!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy and it looks like we may get some strong storms later tonight. My friends are going to be here in a few minutes so we can get started on all of are prep work. Then we have to go shopping and I think we are going to go visit a few of our other friends. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snowflake - this is so funny b/c I am 11 months older than my hubby. Our neighbors just realized this last weekend & they have been calling me a cougar every since!!! HA! We had to marry younger men so they could keep up, right?? :lol:

Good morning! How is everyone today? I am well, just got DS down for his morning nap here a little bit ago and got some things done around the house, so now EA is enjoying some Disney Jr. and I am drinking some coffee. I had tried to enjoy a cup earlier, but I had to heat it up 3 times - yuck!

DH is working in our basement - lumber has been cheap and he's getting ready to frame our basement. One step closer to trying to finish it! HA! (Well, really it is!)

Anyway, what are everyone's plan for today? I'm not sure what we will do today. DH will leave for work around 4, so it will just be the kids and I tonight. I am hoping the 4 of us will go and do something here in a little bit, but it just depends. We shall see where the day takes us!

Hey Holiday!!

Yay! What did you get?!

I ordered 2 "2012" ornaments for my 2 Goddaughters & I ordered the Angel for the Fontanini nativity scene for another Goddaughter. I am buying her a piece to the fontanini nativity scene for every birthday so when she is 18'ish she should have a whole set & then I'll buy her the stable for her graduation. AND of course along with the order is the tiny candy cane. I am saving that to enjoy on another Christmassy day!!!! I don't know why Bronners candy canes always taste better!!

I see that I have a lot of reading to do to catch up on yesterday/this mornings posts, so before I begin I wanted to say that I saw my 1st (2) pumpkins on someones porch this morning while walking at the lake! Fall can't be far away now!!! I am never ready for summer to end but I do love fall, so...bring it on!

Today is my parents 61st wedding anniversary!!! I'm going to give them a call in a little bit to see what they have planned. Maybe we'll take them out to eat tonight. 2 of my sisters have weddings tonight & another sister has her whole family home for the town festival so everybody is busy today! I should cook for them.... it's a great day for it with the rain & all...

Wayne and I are heading to the lake this morning to take a walk. I love going there on Saturdays, it is so crowded and fun to watch everyone going by on their bikes, roller blades, even funny looking bikes that I don't know what they are called but you kind of lay down when you ride it and we even see unicycles! I love seeing all the dogs out there walking!!! I wish I could bring mine but they are little chihuahuas and they have never done well on long walks, we end up carrying them and they seem uncomfortable being carried for too long. I need to get them a stroller!

Then all of us at MMC can all head to Bernies and Bradmac can make us a Tofu Scramble with fresh fruit!

Wayne and I hope we can make it to that Christmas store today!

Good morning, MMC!

It is going to be a hot one here today, but it is supposed to cool down a bit for the next few days. Yay! I have lots to do today as tomorrow I am spending a good portion of the day canning peppers. I am going to do a lot of the prep work this evening while I listen to the Greasy Skillet. I also have to do paperwork for the store, but I don't think it will take me but an hour or so.

The littlest kitten, Bear, came running up the porch steps a bit ago. I gave her a can of kitten food as she refuses to eat crunchy food for kittens. She is so small and does not appear to be growing very fast, but she does seem to be doing a bit better. She is such a sweetie. If I didn't have Mouse, I would bring her in for company for Palmer. Mouse and Palmer are still at odds with each other. Yesterday Mouse was upset because Palmer had her toys all over the place. My brother had been playing with her and so she had seven paper balls, a couple of cardboard tubes, her plastic holly leaves (she loves those - definitely my cat ) and several jingle balls in Mouse's favorite walking spots. Mouse took a violent swipe at one of the jingle balls so I asked her if she wanted to play and she gave me an earful. It was kind of comical listening to her complain about all the toys. I guess she finally reached her tolerance limit. Needless to say, the toys are all put away or disposed of and peace is reigning once more in the house.

How do you can your peppers? We always have a lot of peppers & I always like to hear different ways to put them up. I haven't found a great one yet!! I guess I just like them fresh!

Palmer sounds like the the typical little sister to Mouse !! I know Hermione gives her big sister, Clancy, quite a fit at times....The way Clancy growls at her sometimes you would swear she is going to eat Hermione alive but she never does anything......just complains !!!! xo It is SO CUTE that palmer has plastic holly leaves to play with !!! xo

Thanks, Solice! The only time she mentioned it today, was when I came home and asked about it. She said, "My belly still hurt," but that is how she acts sometimes. She has been acting fine and running around (not acting like she does when she is sick)

The jet is available for your use. Made will need to pilot it, though. I had to make a trip to the ER yesterday and the upper parts of both lungs have sort of collapsed a little. It was hard to take deep breaths. I will find out more on Tuesday
