By the time I get this posted, someone may have already asked; but what is a "zip line"? This is in reply to Snowflake's post.
AFAIK, a zip line is kinda how Kevin got from the second story of his house to the treehouse. It's a line strung between two high places, and you hold onto a thingie that rolls along the line to get you from point A to point B. (Someone who's actually been on one, pls correct me as needed!)
I had the chemo port and the breast expanders removed. I am on the mend!
*Cheers and applause*
Yesterday I ordered "A Christmas Carol" - the original with Alister Sim! I ordered the collectors edition with the Black & White & the color version. I'm pretty excited to get it! I have not been a big fan of this movie - I think maybe I was burned out on it in my younger years! But the last few years I have been "craving" to watch it, so here we go!
I have that edition---they have some extras, including info about how they restored the film for the DVD. Sim brings a bit of humor to Scrooge. He's a riot at the end after his transformation!
[film historian] I think the "original" was made in about 1908, and there were several other versions made before the 1950 version starring Sim---so there are more versions out there you can add to your collection! I recommend the 1935 British version starring Sir Seymour Hicks. More ghostly, rather like Dickens wrote it. [/film historian]
