sounds good, would lover to see them.
I start the brussel sprouts by getting a few of the real thing, I have the bases done and the first layer of leaves on. Each layer needs to be colored before the next layer can be added. Each one will need about 5 to 6 layers to get it to the right size. I will be making 17 of these. I never ever looked at these little vegies so close before LOL. Not really that hard to do, just takes a lot of time because leach layer has to dry before the next can be added. I love the challenge of seeing how close to the real thing I can make them.
Well, I was hoping I was going to get through all the posts before I leave work, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen! I have to leave right on time today b/c my pooch has an appt. at the vet at 3:45. He has something funky going on with his eye, & his allergies are terrible. Poor guy. It always worries me when there is something wrong with my 16 year old dog - you just never know what the vet might tell ya! But he seems pretty healthy other than a few little things so I guess I'll see what they have to say! Say a little prayer for my Buster!
My brother & SIL are flying home from Cape Cod right now! Hopnig & praying for safe travels for them! (they are flying in my bro's 2 seater plane) Can't wait to see them tonight!!!
Hope you are all having a great day!
Breathless Thursday hello ... will have to catch up with the posts later. I've been flat-out at the office all day (except for a 17-minutes lunch break) and I've got plenty to do when I finally get home ... if anything's left of me I may log in later and try to get caught up. At this point I feel punchy enough to misspell my own name.
Hubby and I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond when I went to see my radiologist today. I bought a Yankee Candle (Ocean Water--ha ha, I just noticed the significance of that!!!), a pomegranate room fragrancer, and a Yankee Candle Spiced Pumpkin and Farmer's Market fragrancer. Yummy smells for my classroom! They also had another one that I want--Treehouse Memories. Totally love it!
Big Happy Birthday to CM3!

This year seems to have just flown by, hard to believe it is almost only 100 days to Christmas!!!
Morning Merry Makers! It's the first time I am posting on this thread so I hope i'm not intruding! I just joined a couple days ago.
I am all the way over in England. Autumn is moving in briskly now. The leaves are falling, it's getting colder and the days are becoming a hazy shade of grey.
So excited for the christmas season to begin!
Have a lovely day everybody !

OHH. I wonder if mine is. I might have to check it out this weekend because I just get a $10 off a $10 purchase coupon in the mail.
Glitter, Drink up!!!!
Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!
My mom had shoulder surgery yesterday, so I was at the hospital all day. The doctor said it all looked good, and I brought her home last night. I talked to her this morning (my aunt stayed with her last night), and she says she's still feeling good. She starts physical therapy tomorrow, bless her heart.
This cooler weather is wonderful!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
Good evening, MMC!
It's a dreary, rainy evening ~ perfect for reading a mystery
MERRY dreams!!
Oooh!! Sounds spooky & fabulous. Enjoy, Meceka!! xo
Welcome to the Countdown and welcome to the Christmas family - So glad you are here !! xo

This reminds me of the email I rec'd yesterday about cutting an onion in half & putting it in the room where you are sleeping or spending a lot of time. I have 2 friends who swear by this. Onions supposedly absorb germs & help you heal quicker. Anyone ever heard of this or try it? One friend could not get rid of the cold/flu germs in her house. She cut onions in half & set them around the house & everyone got better, quickly. Coincidence?? I dunno? Maybe worth a try?!
This is such a great place ... even after proofreading with hardly a break all day, once I get home I still want to check in and read all your news!
Multitasking at the same time, but making catching up with your posts one of the "tasks" helps.
so far all it has done here is make the house smell like onions! where did I put the fabreeze?I haven't heard of this, but who knows? Some of these weird remedies work, even though logic tells you there's no sense in it. That crazy remedy about rubbing soap on your calf when you have a nighttime leg cramp---I think that's only failed me once. But there's no good reason it should keep the cramp from coming back (unless it acts as a massage).
