Good evening, MMC!
I hope all is well with everyone and their families!!!
All is well here ~ Bo survived another day and is happy and snoozing on his blanket pile, Palmer is out of time-out (one hour for clawing at the door ~ she is slowly destroying it) and is looking for Wilson, her neon green ball with the smiley face, Mouse is snoozing, and my brother has taken over the television to watch a horror movie. I have dishes to do, paperwork to catch up on, lists to make for tomorrow, etc. Typical night here cheesy
Have a most MERRY evening and MERRY dreams ~ I intend to!!! But first I have to find Wilson for Palmer
Wow I am watching about the election and it looks like a key state is Ohio, wow CM3 and Holiday have you seen either candidate? They were in my neck of the woods during there debate at Hofstra.
LOLThis is so cute !!!! xo
:ghost:Well we are trying not to dwell on the bad weather right now, we are preparing for the worst but hoping for the best... Anyway, last night hubby and I were talking about our plans for the weekend ~ we always plan out our hikes, makes it more enjoyable to get there and know what route to take, but he threw in a curve ball where I expected a fast ball... He wants to go the Sleepy Hollow, they DO A HUGE Halloween themed weekend and this is the last one of the season, so we might do both, maybe only go for a short hike and then pop over to Sleepy Hollow and see the "real" Headless Horsemen... BOOOO HHHHHHAAAAAAAA MMMMAAAWWWW HHHHAAAWWWWW LOL my scary laugh for Halloween!!!!:fangs:

Hubs and I are also very excited because that same ex-coworker is retaking some wedding pictures that our original (awful) photographer missed the first time around. We picked up hubs' tux yesterday, I got my dress and veil from my parents' house today, I have hair and makeup appointments tomorrow morning, then we have the entire day to shoot! I am sooooo excited, so are hubs and our friend!! Afterwards we will all go out to Buffalo Wild Wings, which hubs and the friend's husband are excited to finally go eat at! lol
We have another busy weekend ahead of us. Saturday we are going with a group that includes my parents, in-laws, and friends of both to a paddlewheel murder mystery cruise! I am really excited about this, although I am worried about how the Chesapeake Bay waters will be with the impending "doom" of Hurricane Sandy! Hubs says not to worry as it's still a few days out, but I am still slightly nervous. Then Sunday is hubs' grandparents' 60th anniversary party! Busy busy busy, it never ends!!
Hope everyone is doing well and that everyone who is in the path of Sandy (myself included!) stays safe!!! Love to all!
A quick good night, everyone. I am really tired tonight, so I will turn in. Turn in to what you say? Why a beautiful princess, of course!
Hello Christmas friends!
It has been a while since I've posted...just been so incredibly busy!! I've been spending a lot of time with my "twin" and her kids, my "niece" and "nephew", which has been tons of fun. Last week, I was able to spend time with two of my close friends from Kohl's. We went to Hobby Lobby and then ate at the new Buffalo Wild Wings in our area. It was soooo awesome! I love sports themed restaurants more than most girls...I blame my dad! =) This past Saturday was also my friend Emily's wedding, which was tons of fun! She looked absolutely amazing, and it was hubs' and my first "official" outing as a married couple! <3 The next day was my "nephew"'s Christening, which I got to stand in for because the actual godmother couldn't be there. (I was not allowed to be the godmother as I am not baptized Catholic. =( ) Their afterparty was a lot of fun, although my "twin"'s mother-in-law kinda fought with me, which I thought was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. This week so far, I've been able to hang out with "twin" and the kids again, as well as run some errands with one of the ex-coworkers from last week.

Battery operated 50 count C7 lightstrand, perfect for lighting up your house after the hurricane knocks out your power.
Unhappily, the news stories this morning say the hurricane will be merging with an early winter storm from the West and arctic air from the north---and they're now giving the hurricane a 70% chance of hitting somewhere between Cape Hatteras and Cape Cod. One forecaster recalled that the "Perfect Storm" of 1991 caused millions of dollars in damage---he's calling this one "a billion-dollar storm." Another says that there's no modern precedent to compare this scenario with. They're beginning to make me seriously worry. I guess all we can do is stock up and batten down, and keep an eye on the forecasts. At least we have the weekend to prepare.
