Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good evening, MMC! How are you all? I am well. Just sitting here relaxing, watching Hallmark and getting ready to make a cup of coffee.

Nothing too much new here. I had a busy night at work last night - DH had a busy one as well - they had a bad fire right at the end of his shift. It ended up begining a fatality, which it was a 3 yo. I feel so horrible for this family and the fireman and all the emergency crew. It so horrible when this type of thing happens. God Bless them and prayers. My husband seems to be doing okay today. He usually hides his emotions pretty well, which sometimes scares me.

As you probably saw in my earlier post, I went to EA's Thanksgiving party at preschool today. It was really nice and enjoyable. I got to help serve the meal to the kids and then I got to sit and eat with her. She loved that I was there, but she always seems to get very tearful when I take her to preschool or when I stop by. The teacher says she is only like that when I take her. I am not sure what causes that. EA says it is because she wants me around - she is usually more attached to her Daddy, so who knows!

I work tonight again, so so DH, so my sister is watching the kids. She actually took them for a while to her boyfriends. I thought I would catch up here for a little while for lying down for nap.

I went to your FB page. Hubby saw it and asked, "Is that some of your family?" I told him it was my MMC friend. He said, "Like I said, it's some of your family." I really smiled at that!!!

Good evening,

Long night at work, my last order of turkeys came in,one week until Thanksgiving, frozen turkeys will stop selling pretty much Monday. I have about 800 more to sell, it will be tough. I scanned the radio on the way home to see if any Christmas music was coming over the airwaves yet, no luck, I believe my local stations switch this weekend. It is late, I am tired, and my juvenile sense of humor still has me laughing at Binger's typo. That was a well needed laugh.

Been a very tough couple of months battling with depression, but I'm hoping to get into the Christmas spirit soon, but due to stress and anxiety regarding school and a few other things, I've been trying to take it easy, which has been difficult. Overall, this year's been a bit of a roller coaster.

At least my sister and her boyfriend are spending Christmas with us.

yes this is very sad for the family of this baby & the 1's on call there, just tragic! praying for them all sugar. glad you had fun w/ EA @ preschool today.

No more turkeys, please!!!!!! I was working with them all day! My body is so tired and sore. I sold over 100 on my shift alone today. Just going to have a relaxing evening and watch The Amazing Spiderman. My Arthur Christmas DVD that I bought online came in today. Woohooo!

LOL!!!! I have a neighbor that won't come over when I have all of my Santa's out. They say it just feels like the Santas are alive and watching them.
