Good morning, MMC family! How are you all? I am doing well this morning. Just sitting here, getting caught up and enjoying time with the kids.

What are everyone's plans for today? I really don't have anything planned. I am just going to do some housework and spend time with the kids. That's what I call a nice weekend and the one's I like!

I hope you all enjoy your day and the whole weekend! We only have 2 weekends until Christmas! Let's savor this time! It's we look foward to the most each year.

Talk to you all a little later on. God Bless and keep smiling! :-D

Thank you for all your prayers. On the positive side of all this my dad is still his usual silly fun self! That keeps me happy!

I have found myself really tuning into every little thing my parents do as they get older and appreciating the smallest things. When I hear my phone ring and it's my mom or dad's designated ringtone, I love the sound of it. When my dad starts whistling it's like hearing Mozart! I am glad to hear him whistle! My dad comes over nearly everyday to use our computer. When asked if I am tired of him coming over all the time, my answer is, "No"! I am glad he is around and doing well enough to be able to come over. Sometimes my mom and dad ask me if I want to go somewhere with them that I am not that interested in doing, I go anyway just to spend time with them. There are so many things, to many to list but I am thankful! This goes for other friends and family in my life as well.

My parents are not old and feeble but aging and I want to do as much as possible with them while they are here. My mother actually has the energy of a 20 something! My dad, however, has some health issues that keep his energy low but he still gets around.

This post was not meant to be a downer but very uplifting in appreciating others in your life and enjoy the littlest things people have to offer.

I hope you all have a blessed day! Enjoy life to its fullest!

I don't have time to reply to all the post on here because my grandson is here and we have a lot planned today.

I am praying for all those who are sick or having a hard time with things.

CM3, I hope the medication works well for you!

Christmasstar, Congratulations to Little CS!

I did the same thing with my mother and dad.....Now I am doing that with my sister. She just turned 69. That may sound old to some, but I am hoping we will be able to be nutty sisters at Christmas together for years to come yet....I find myself taking in EVERYTHING she does and says..........xo Your mother and dad sound wonderful !! They certainly raised a wonderful, kind and caring daughter (((HUGS)) xo

Good morning, Christmas family

I am just getting ready to work a little bit then I plan on taking it easy. I am a bit behind in my line count as I had that appointment this week with the rheumatologist. So I figured why not make them up now ......I will be taking my second dose of the new med here in a couple of hours.

X-mas - Praying for the family who lost their home. That is just awful xo

Take care, Christmas family xoxo

Good Friday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

Nancy and I did the power-shopping thing yesterday. I took off work, and we shopped from 9am to 9pm, but we got most of it done! Now I'm trying to get caught up here at work. It's a shame how far behind I can get after missing only one work day. LOL

Oh my.. How did you survive? Im impressed!!! cheesy

Wow I guess what that's where they get the phrase shop till you drop!

just got back from the christmas party of our local animal shelter for animals (horses, goats, donkeys, lamas, alpacas and on) that would be killed otherwise.....we had cup a mulled wine and Kandice had a cup of kid´s christmas punch...had a bratwurst and Kandice and I have decided to give a little money monthly for the animals....it is only 5 euros...but it´s better than nothing....if the financial situation is getting better....we will raise the amount!.....Merry Christmas

Thanks, Solice! Enjoy the rest of your weekend as well!

Give her extra hugs like I do with my fur children when they are up to no good. That wasn't very good advice, was it? I just don't know how to discipline my fur kids at all but they are really not that bad. As I posted earlier, I just let my cat play Catzilla through my Christmas Village and didn't say a word to him. Not too bright on my part! lol... They sure are fun though!

I hope Palmer doesn't get into too much more! =)

She is being good today ~ currently she is watching Dances with Wolves. She loves television ~ goofy cat! Thank you for the advice, CAH!

Oh yeah, Meceka! Remember you and I talked about kitties coming up missing? You had one that came up missing awhile back. Well, we had 2 stray cats come up missing over 6 months ago. A few weeks ago they appeared at my front door together!!! They have been hanging around since. My neighbor and I were shocked! They looked great and healthy. Maybe it's a good sign you will see yours again!

Oh, how wonderful the two cats have shown up again! Thank you for letting me know, CAH!

Keeping all of you in my prayers today who have asked for comfort or health, including Isak and the family that was burned out and CAH's father. And happy to hear about LittleCS's job!

As usual, I'm thinking of all of you, especially as there are only this weekend and two more before Christmas, and I can picture you among your decorations and gift-wrapping and card-writing and enjoying the season! It's a chilly, gray, damp day here, but we may go out for a walk later anyway to get some exercise, and maybe run some Christmas film tonight. Not much time left to get through all the seasonal movies I want to see!

Hi meceka! I wanted to let you know that I have replaced the doorknobs on the kids bathroom door 3 times! Most of the time it was because one kid is on the inside taking "her pokey time" and the other on the outside of the door, and he's pounding on the door, twisting the handle all along while doing some sort of a jig/ new dance while crossing his legs; lol... they would just twist that handle like there was no tomorrow!

So believe me I know about doors in general although yours is a little different.. I Just thought I might give you a little chuckle with my kid version...

Thank you for sharing your story, xmastidings! cheesy

Omg two weeks from tomorrow is lovemas omg ahahhhahahaahha

yabbaaaaaaa

Woo hoo! I shall have my computer fixed in time to enjoy the Countdown!

I spoke to the second in charge, and she has said my vacation is safe, I haven't dealt with the other employee since she is off for a few days. That will be fun.

I'm glad your vacation is safe!

Going to read some Christmas stories before bed. I'm glad tomorrow is Friday!

I watched "The Box of Delights" (a British Christmas mini-series from 1984) again recently, and found out that the book it was based on is actually a sequel. So I ordered the first book to find out what happened before. CM3, you'd probably like the book or DVD of "Box of Delights." It's a little bit like Harry Potter and Narnia---the hero is a young boy who encounters all sorts of magical adventures as he tries to unravel the secrets of a magic box given to him for safekeeping by a mysterious old man at Christmastime. It's a very unusual Christmas story.
Good night, all!

That sounds like something I would enjoy, too. I had never heard of that until I read your post ~ thank you, Merry!

Good Morning from a dreary and wet Central Indiana. It looks like it's going to be a nasty weekend here with rain hanging around for the next 4 days. Monday we may see a few flurries but nothing that is going to stick. Last night we decided that tomorrow was going to be are annual family cooking baking day since it was going to be raining. Everyone at my sister's house woke up with a stomach bug today though so that may change. Today I plan on doing some wrapping. I tried to buy most of gifts online for my niece and nephew in seattle but I ended up buying them a few things here. So I need to get those wrapped and shipped soon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone in your family is doing better today!
