Good evening,

Got home just over an hour ago, very slow moving night at work. Got a lot accomplished though. My wife went to the Dr. she has a sinus infection and bronchitis, she is out of work for the rest of the week. Watching the end of Christmas Vacation, I love this movie.

Good night all.
I hope she gets well soon!
Good evening, MMC!

I am about to go to bed, but I thought I'd give an update on my ribs. I spoke to a nurse friend and she said she is pretty sure that I pulled a muscle and maybe even bruised my rib and that's why I have the bony lump. It isn't hurting (unless I move a certain way then it is sore) and it does not hurt to touch, so I am going to leave it alone and enjoy the rest of the Christmas season :] Sometimes I feel that if you go to the doctor, you're just borrowing trouble! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

Two days left of class and then it is time for finals! I am so ready to be off so I can really enjoy Christmas. It is such a shame my break starts so late, only three days before Christmas. It really cuts the fun short!

Have a good night, everyone! Sleep well and sweet dreams!
Take care and get some rest!
They are talking to the author of Elf on a Shelf on BT this morning.

I have to be at work at 11 and the demo is here in town so that is also nice. LittleCS is meeting me for lunch since she also works at the mall.

Now my list of things to do is down to one tree to finish and cookies to bake. :???:

The ladies had a great time yesterday with the gingerbread houses.
Here is just one picture of the 15 houses being worked on...

it was a great morning!!
Very nice! I know that was a lot of hard work putting all those together.

Enjoy lunch with Little CS!
Good morning, everyone!

Very drowsy morning. Mr. had to work at the office until 2:45 a.m. and didn't get home until after 4 a.m. (He had gotten up at 5:30 yesterday morning, so he was up over 22 hours---sometimes his workplace is NUTS.) I turned off the alarm clock and crept out this morning so he could get some rest. Don't know when he's due back at the office, and I don't care---they OWE him some sleep after that.

Once I get through today at the office, I have Friday and Monday to do Christmas things---got a big lump of homemade chocolate chip cookie dough thawing in the fridge for baking, and I bought sugar cookie ingredients in case I want to tackle them. Need to wrap Mr.'s gifts, too.

It's going to be a challenge to keep awake today. Should have brought more PG Tips with me!
Aww... I hope he gets some rest soon.

Have fun with baking and don't forget to dance and sing Christmas songs real loud while doing so!
My VCR just ate my copy of White Christmas.

Nooooooo!!! That is Wayne's very favorite Christmas movie. His DVD messed up a couple of years ago and he had to replace it. I hope you get yours replaced soon!

What's a VCR?

Sorry, couldn't help it. My kids have never heard of an 8-track, and have only seen records and cassettes. We hav a VCR, but haven't used it since they were little. Everything these days is blue-ray or streaming.

I miss the old days when you didn't need a computer degree to program the VCR like you do the DVR. :-?
I still don't have a DVR! I do want to get one though!

I have DVD/VHS combo in my den and bedroom. I still have so many VHS Christmas shows and watch them often. Some of them cannot be replaced since a lot of them are not on DVD yet.

Morning MMC!

Its Cold, Clear, Calm and Christmasy here in Ireland today!

Feels like ages since i have been here as i have been devoting every waking hour to finishing my Christmas project, http://yuleplay.com but now its finished and i am free to enjoy the rest of the holiday season!

If you haven't seen it yet, i would really appreciate it if you could check it out and share it on facebook.

Many Thanks

Spirit.

Hi all
Been absent from here for a couple of weeks, its been pretty hectic
Went to London Monday and Tuesday to finish off my Christmas shopping and visit Winter Wonderland, it was brilliant very cold but that just made it even more Christmassy
Are you all ready for the big day?

I actually watched the entire 12/12/12 Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert last night. It was nearly 6 hours long, started at 6:30 pm (cst) and was not over until 12:20 am (was suppose to end at 11 pm). I am usually in bed wayyyyyy before that! I just had to stay up for Sir Paul McCartney (last act of the night) and it was worth it! I thought 99% of the entire concert was excellent. I like some hip hop and rap but I just could not get into Kanye West (just me, some may love him!), the rest of the concert was great!

I had my messenger on and my daughter, son-in-law and I chatted through majority of the concert. Wayne tried forever to get his chat going but it wasn't working. Got to get that going today. Anyway, my daughter, son-in-law and I had a lot of fun chatting and were laughing so much cutting up with each other! Kind of felt like a Greasy Skillet Night!!! Should have had RadioJonD join our 12/12/12 Concert chat last night and the others who join in would have made it complete!!! :D

You can't get into a guy wearing a leather kilt?? I knew their was something strange about you.:wink:

What movie is on for you, made? Is it the Christmas card? That's supposed to be on next for us, right now the Christmas Heart is on.

Yep, it was the Christmas card. I loved the Christmas Heart. It's the best one they have released this year in my opinion.

It looks like some of them could be professional gingerbread house decorators.

That's a bummer!! :-(

I was just @ Walmart, and saw that they had the White Christmas dvd on display, along with a combo pack of White Christmas & It's A Wonderful Life. Maybe a shopping trip is in order?!

Guess where I'm headed this afternoon? cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!!! The warm up continues here in central Indy with a high of 47 predicted for today. It's going to be busy day here. I have several errands to run and then I have to take my neighbor to the airport at 3. I also need to remember to call in my greeting for the podcast now that I can go longer than a minute before I start coughing. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Christmassy day everyone!

I expect to receive my final results of the semester at the very beginning of January but as I have already got majority of my other assignments marked, I don't expect my results to be very bad. Actually, they should be pretty good overall. ^^ Anyway, I have to finish stitching a Christmas present for my godparents in umpcoming few days, I still have to do a little Christmas shopping tomorrow and pack my suitcase on Saturday because I'm going home on Sunday!!! I wasn't that excited abou it a while ago but now, when there are only few days to go, I'm super excited!

Good morning everyone.

I have been gone for a while. Both of my parents have been in the hospital. Dad with pneumonia. Mom with complications from cancer including pneumonia and a UTI. Dad is doing better and may get out today. Mom is a little better but will be there a while longer. They are both in Gastonia, NC so I walked through Christmas town USA, (McAdenville) several nights after leaving the hospital. http://www.mcadenville-christmastown.com/ It was a needed break.

I will drop back in when I can. Hope everyone has a great Christmas season as we celebrate the day God became a man to model a perfect life for us, provide for us to be reconciled to God by dying for our sins, and then rising again. It is neat to celebrate his birth while anticipating his return.

We're still praying for your parents and your entire family. I hope your mom can come home for a family Christmas.

Good afternoon everyone!

We're closing in on single digits until Christmas Day. I hope that you have been enjoying the Season as much as me! I posted some pictures in the Blossoms thread. They all didn't turn out too well, but I decided to share none the less. Walking down Taffy Lane was a real treat last night. The Christmas lights displays were fantastic. It really brought a big smile to my face.

Not much else is happening around here today. Most of my colleagues are out for their Christmas lunch. I didn't want to spend the money. It would just be about 100 people in a restaurant. No real Christmas Spirit or anything. With that said, the office here looks very nice and decorated for Christmas. Some colleagues have chosen to decorate their cubicles. And a few of the managers have done a great job decorated the windows and doors to their offices. I like it!

Well, only one more day until the weekend. It's hard to believe that I will be returning home for Christmas exactly a week from today. I'm excited. It will be wonderful to see my family and experience Christmas in Sault Ste. Marie, once again. There is no better setting - for me - for Christmas. I'm greatly looking forward to it!

I'm hungry so it's time to grab my lunch. I hope that everyone has a great Thursday! Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Holiday. If I were at your house, I would be sneaking a peek at those gift bags, I truly would! I just couldn't stop myself!

Awe Seawaters! I hope the pain does not stick around long! Sending (((Feel better vibes))) your way!!!

Got a hair cut/color tonight! Now I'm sitting at home watching Christmas & trying to figure out what to dig into 1st! Cleaning? Laundry? Ugh! The recliner sounds better!

I just snapped a couple pics of my Christmas tree:

Hope you are all having a great night!
