Final 'Pines open house before Christmas!

Carl has pulled out every stop to make this a memorable day at our resort Inn of choice.
Not only will there be continuous Christmas music and movies playing, ALL the red and green frosted fired twinkies you can eat are free!!
And rumor has it TWO door prizes will be awarded to lucky visitors. At least one of them is supposed to be a special Christmas ornament.
(I have heard it is in the shape of a camel but that hasn't been confirmed.)

Regardless, don't miss the single greatest party of the year, Folks!

Unexpectently got the evening off work because of the rotating teacher strikes going on here. One of the moms needed Thursday off to look after her daughter so we switched days.

Thus begins my Christmas vacation!!!:dance:. My sweetie is feeling a bit better, not 100% but better than she was, good enough we are going our with our 3 year old granddaughter to do Christmasy stuff and hopefully get a picture of her with Santa.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It looks like we are going to have one more nice day before it gets crazy tomorrow. The forecast has went from a little bit of rain and maybe a dusting of snow last night to lots of rain, 60 to 70 mph wind gusts, and 1 to 2 inches of snow this morning. Who knows what it will be tomorrow. I wouldn't mind the snow but I don't want the wind. Today I have to finish our menu for Christmas day. Then hopefully I can run to the grocery store tonight. It will probably be crazy with the storm predicted for tomorrow but I'm hoping that it's better than what it will be like this weekend. Then it will be off to the pines. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning,

A cool raw morning here, work beckons in just over an hour, but it is my last night shift for 2012. WOOOHOOO! 4 more day shifts left after tonight. Still waiting for the Dr's office to call us with JP's CAT scan appt, they want to get it done this week, I am just hoping it is nothing, my wife and I are so worried about this because he gets these painful headaches behind his eye and it makes him throw up. He has been getting them once in awhile but last month he got the headaches 7 times in two weeks. The Dr was never too concerned with it but now it has come to this. It may just be from the excitement of the holiday season and the exhaustion it has brought with it. Tiredness is a reason for headaches his Dr said, so we are just hoping that is it. Enough with my worrisome rant. Just really looking forward to Christmas right now.
