See how a special love has helped you influence others? I am sure it will be a wonderful memory! Have a great time!

Saturday we'll be having a special Christmas/movie party. We have a friend who does our outdoor work for us. Over the years we've had him and his wife and little boy in for a few times at Christmastime for pizza and a film show. Our schedules haven't meshed in recent years, but this year we're getting together again. Their little boy---the one who used to get bored with the movies and spill Coke on the rug and get wired on Christmas cookies---is graduating this coming spring and going into the Marines, and he's eager to have one more Christmas/pizza/movie party with us and his parents. Next Christmas he'll be somewhere out in the world with the Marines. It's touching to know that he remembers those movie shows so fondly, and wants to make one more memory of them. So it'll be a special evening for all of us.

Beautiful. It was great hearing your voice on the PodCast. I have been pronouncing your name incorrectly. In my mind, I had been saying SOL-is, with an emphasis on SOL. But you pronounced it sol-ECE. Love it, either way!!!

Good afternoon from Winter Wonderland.
Took this photo outside last night. Magic =)

I've been wrapping Christmas gifts all day!
Merry Christmas!! ♥

Hope YOU have a great day my friend!

Love it! What a great memory for your granddaughter!

Just dropping by for a sec before we start another busy day. Wayne and I had so much fun with our granddaughter yesterday on her Special Christmas Day. She was like a little princess getting to do her own thing. We took her to historic Downtown Grapevine, Texas (Christmas Capitol of Texas). She had so much fun looking at all the pretty things the stores had.

Look what was on the movie marquee at the theater in Downtown!

I just really need a big hug today. Wishbone is sick. He doesn't want to eat. I am scared to death. Please pray for him......I can't lose him this close to Christmas..........

Thoughts, love, and prayers going out to you & Wish. Harlowe is sending him special hugs too. Please keep us posted. XO

Yeparooni! Hubby really likes it. I am amazed and impressed, though, at the great decaf that is made now. Restaurants don't have good ones, but the K-cup ones are great!

Wayne and I bought these K-Cups for our Keurig yesterday. I wonder why I am still laying here in bed! We have a big day planned but I feel this cold is not letting up and my energy level is low. I will try to get moving here shortly!

Seawaters, was it you that mentioned this coffee a few months ago?

Thank you! I loved to hear your voice too!
And everyone elses! ♥

(I was so nervous when I called... )

It is cold here in northern California, hovering at 40 degrees and expected to stay there or get colder. Supposedly, a cold stream of weather is headed our way; but like some of you have said, I'll believe it when I see it! I am still working away on my "pile of stuff." I also plan to work on some Christmas tags. If you go to https://www.facebook.com/ChicoScrapbooks and scroll down just a wee bit, you will see the tags I am making. They are so much fun!

Our gas just went from $2.77 a gallon last night to $3.25 a gallon right now. That is crazy.

Has the number of posts slowed down as we've gotten closer to Christmas?
Not on the countdown thread but for the other threads. It just seems like I log into here and see fewer posts. I wonder if everyone has gotten busy enjoying their holiday time. I know I have!

Seawaters, those are really cool tags!

Good afternoon, MMC!

It is time for me to return the computer I borrowed ~ went by fast as I tried to catch up on all things I am behind on internet-wise. The radar shows some bad storms out there ~ take care, everyone! See you tomorrow for Lovemas!

Have a MERRY night!!!

Hello everyone, how are you all?
Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas festivities, it's my last day in work tomorrow for 2 weeks so mince pies and chocolates all round, probably a few sing alongs too.
All presents bought now and most are wrapped and more and more are appearing under the tree. Can't wait for Monday and Tuesday now :D

Charlie and the chocolate factory (johnny depp version) on tv....kandice is glued to the screen and is waiting for the oompa loopmas :D

Hey!
We are only 25 posts short of our record set for last year's Blossoms thread.
Any more left out there that can go up before Christmas?

been ice-skating again with Kandice and new friends that we have met in Disneyland Paris....funny how You gotta travel 6h ours by bus to meet new people that only live 10minutes away from us...lol

Those of us who love Christmas, as all of us here obviously do, are certainly in a catch-22 as December 25th rolls closer. We are the ones that post on here in September how we can't wait for Christmas...and then one week from Christmas we say, "Whoa! Slow down, Christmas!" :-D

I've just come to accept that every late-December I will reflect on the past Christmas, and feel I didn't...

...listen to enough Christmas music
... watch enough Christmas movies and specials
...eat enough Christmas baked goods
...spend enough time just admiring the tree and surrounding decor

And so it goes, and I make a pledge to do all of these and more next year; and then next year I reflect on the past Christmas, and decided I didn't ...

Just one of the many reasons to love the season, I guess!

I have always felt that once we hit around the 19th of December it all goes into hyper-drive, and before you know it it is December 26th, and another Christmas is in the books.

We Christmas lovers beg Christmas to hurry up when the leaves are just beginning to fall off the trees and the kids are returning back to school after a long summer break; then, come mid-December Christmas yells to us, "I'm here!!", and we ask Christmas to slow down, and ask why it's in such a hurry.

Poor Christmas, it must look at us as a silly bunch, indeed cheesy

So, so true!!! This made me
