We are going to be having our Christmas dinner this weekend. I start back to work on Jan. 7 and want to have leftovers to start the New Year. I did not feel like cooking on Thanksgiving or Christmas, so we will celebrate on Sunday. Normally we smoke a turkey and have Ripieno de Salsicce, an Italian stuffing; but this time, I am going to cook the turkey in the oven and use my mother's stuffing recipe. I can hardly wait!
You MUST have read "Dandelion Wine," one of my all-time favorites. If not, you have a treat coming when you do!
I believe Mr. Bradbury passed away this year.
 I see Santa in my head singing that from, Miracle on 34th Street!
What time is dinner??? Are you picking us all up in the jet??? =)
JP's Dr finally got back to us regarding his CAT Scan, everything in his brain is normal, all his sinuses were completely full and giving him the headaches, looks like it may be an allergy issue which caused a major sinus infection. We have to go back for a follow up appt to see what we will have to do about the possible allergies. Thank you for all the prayers.
He did--I want to say in July? My favorite of his stories will always be "I Sing the Body Electric, which was made into a TV movie called "The Electric Grandma". I loved the Martian Chronicles too, and "Something Wicked this Way Comes" scared the pants off of me first time I read it--and the first time I saw the movie with Jason Robards....

I just saw Elf is going to be on ABCFamily at 5pm! I'm so glad they are still playing Christmas movies. They always use to stop Christmas night, which always made it feel like they were rushing Christmas out. No Harry Potter movies (sorry, CM3) during the 25 Days and now this. I think they are listening to us. cheesy
Everyday I learn something new. Today I learned Seawaters owns a jet!!!

Bullypup, one of my books just arrived.
"It's a Wonderful Life" is my personal favorite and the most meaningful of all Christmas movies for me. Enjoy!I don't care to see the Harry Potter movies during the 25 Days either. I think they may have had them on once this year, though. I had a tear-out in a magazine that listed all of the programs on the 25 Days and I swore they were on there. I do like the movies, but I don't think they are very Christmasy.
If I hadn't watched Elf three or four times in the past couple of weeks then I would have turned it on. I think I am going to put It's A Wonderful Life on tonight. I didn't get a chance to see very much this year. I watched a ton of movies but that is one of the couple I missed.
And not just any ol' jet either. Made, tell Murphman how I got it!
