Good evening everyone! I can't believe that another week has almost passed by. I hope that everyone had a good one. ;] It's been very busy at the uni lately because of quite big workload. The weekend is going to be occupied with uni work too because I have two deadlines next week. Also, there were some issues with me going to Amsterdam next semester which prevented me from going. I was very frustrated at the time but then I realized that I have nothing to loose so I'm absolutely fine now. You always need to look at the bright side of the things, don't you?

Good afternoon!
I was at the mall all morning Christmas shopping for the girls. I am off to a good start. If I have some time to myself this afternoon I would like to do some online shopping. I picked up another Keepsake ornament for myself at Hallmark while I was in the mall. I can't walk past that store without stopping in, I have no will power. I am really behind with my shopping this year. I use to have a lot more time to myself when the girls were younger. I would send them off to school and they wouldn't be home until 3:30 in the afternoon, I would get so much done. Now they all have different school and work schedules and there is usually at least one of them home with me, which is a good thing! I love when they are home, it's great. But it's hard when I'm trying to Christmas shop for them! Even though they are older, I still like their gifts to be surprises.

at work today I mentioned to one of the guys that decorations were going up downtown and he complained hat it was to soon! It is only 38 days to go I pointed out. He looked at me and said "you are one of those Christmas fanatics aren't you? Only a Christmas fanatic knows the exact countdown to Christmas !!!"

Oh, I haven't been here in so long, it feels so good! Hopefully things will calm down a bit and I'll be able to get on here once in while again. Hard to believe the countdown is at 39 days!!!! This year has gone fast. My daughter started high school, has her first boyfriend, my son that moved out has moved back, he's going back to school, so I hope this degree works better for finding him a job than the last degree did! My step son just renewed his lease for a year, then mentioned that maybe next year he'd like to move back to save money. Easy come, easy go, I guess!

Afternoon all,

Ahhhh, the work day is coming to a close very soon and the weekend will commence; TGIF. From the way it sounds, (we had put a contract on a house on Wednesday), that we didn't get the house we were after. So, tomorrow we will be heading back out on the road to look at homes again...

As far as my home inspection went, we really don't know hardly a thing yet, the realtor told us that we should hear something by tomorrow. The one thing that we did hear was that the termite inspector could not finish his inspections in the garage because it was too full. So, I will need to move things around and he will have to come back again to finish. We moved all/ anything extra from the house to the garage so the house showed well, well, it looks like I have to start moving things back again.
Fun-fun....

I think tonight we are going to head out and get a bite to eat at the local dinner and then head over to target and pick up a few things....

Sorry that you didn't get the house. There must be a better one for you still out there! Good luck and have fun with the house hunting!!

Good Friday morning my friends! I went outside this morning to a very heavy frost on the truck at 5:30am, had to let it warm up a bit before heading out on the road. Looking at the forecast for this weekend, it's supposed to warm up around here, into the 60's and then by Monday, be back in the 30's again; It's the weather rollercoaster~

Wish us luck today, we are getting our home inspection today starting at 10:00 am by the company that the people who bought our home had hired. I really cannot think of anything that would throw up any red flags, but you just never know with these guys. We need this to be a good inspection or else it will possibly hinder the sale of our home or the price of it. After that, they new homeowners also want a Radon inspection and then a Chimney inspection.

I don't blame them, selling a home and having the associated inspections, are a stressful, but yet necessary process that protects all parties involved in the transaction of selling and buying a home. They want a nice, sound and safe home to buy and we want to sell them a nice safe, sound home....

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Friday today and yes, the weekend is on the doorstep, who-hooo~ :dance:

I'm doing really well Snow how about you? I was hoping to get the last of the leaves this weekend but the forecast is not very promising. I have a friend in Springfield who has been really sick so I'm planning to go down to visit with her. Of course I will be rooting for the Lions to take down Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high in the mid 50's and sunny. So it should be a pretty decent day out there. I'm dragging this morning. I was up to 3am burning Christmas cd's for my niece last night. I sent her a copy of the Duck Dynasty CD last week and then she called me yesterday and asked if I had any more cd's I could send her. So I burned her 40 more last night. She should be happy now. Today I need to pay bills, write out a grocery list, the normal chores, and then the decorations are coming down out of the attic. I probably won't get much out but at least they will be down to work on when I have time. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, It's been quite some time since I have been here. I hope everyone is doing well. I see the Christmas spirit still remains alive and well here. My outdoor lights have been hung and my home shines with my Christmas spirit for all to see. My tree will go up on Sunday the 24th, and I feel so behind schedule. I can't wait to read thru the posts and see who has decorated already. It will take me forever to catch up. In the meantime, Merry Christmas Everybody!!! I think about my MMC pals often, and I sure am happy to be back !!!!!
