The malls are so boring now that all of the decorations are gone, you're not missing much by not going. I am glad you are feeling better. The wife and I are most likely heading to The Steaming Tender for dinner on Valentine's Day. http://www.steamingtender.com/

I agree about the mall! Wayne will mention occasionally if I want to go to the mall but I just don't find it that interesting until it's closer to the holiday season. We still go sometimes but it's just not as much fun! I am always looking for Santa!

I remember you going to this restaurant before. I would love to go there sometime, if I ever travel that way!

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you all doing? All is well here, just sitting and relaxing, which I am enjoying!

What is everyone up to today? I already have dinner in the crock pot. I put a whole chicken in there earlier, so I will have to just do the sides later on. Here in a little while, I have to do some packing. DH and I are going to see Luke Bryan tomorrow night. The kids are going to my in-laws, so we're going to stay in a hotel for the night then. I'm so excited to get away for a day or so, plus, so excited to see Luke...yahhhh...sorry Made! :wink:

Anything new with anyone? Nothing really here. My kids are growing like weeds. DS is talking so much and is ALL boy. It is so funny to see how different he is from EA. I love seeing the differences from a girl and boy. EA is really growing too and is getting so much taller...love watching kids grow and know they are healthy!

Well, I'm going to read some of the Countdown and more of the site! Hope all is well and all is well with your families and furbabies too! Miss you all. Thinking of you all and praying for anyone who needs my prayers. God Bless and continue to smile...all of you!

Good afternoon everyone!

I hope you're all well. The count seems to be getting closer to the next milestone. I had a decent interview last night. I can't quite claim it as being "successful" until the hiring process has completed. The interesting news is that they are looking to complete the process by next Monday. I really want this career position. It would be great to (finally) have some security. I'd appreciate some assistance from you all, too. Thanks!

More importantly, I need your support for something else, too. My grandmother is having quite the battle right now. She's 83, but her health has been deteriorating over the past five or six years. She used to be quite healthy until my grandfather past away. Anyway, she has been in the hospital since Saturday morning and they don't quite know what is wrong. They've run tests but the doctors are baffled. With that said, I would appreciate your help and assistance on this matter, too. My grandmother has always been there for me and it is tough for me not to be around her during this tough time. Thank you!

It's been CRAZY around here today! The boss has been out of town, and wanted all this stuff done for his boss' visit next week. We've been trying to get most of it done before our boss gets back because, frankly, we spent a lot more than he would normally agree to. But it's look super!

Okay, this snow thing is getting serious. They've upgraded the blizzard watch to a blizzard warning, and they've upped the accumulation estimate: now it's 2 to 3 feet. Happily, Mr.'s office is closed tomorrow, and my office is closing at noon. (But I'm planning to work from home anyway.)

Good evening,

Very busy day at work, people are in a full panic mode around here and were buying anything and everything they could. It looks like the storm will be coming in a little later than they originally planned, so I may be able to get a few hours in and leave. Schools around here are already cancelled, and we keep getting phone calls from our towns Code Red system, which is something new after the tornado back in 2011.
