No, not pink eye, thank goodness. He thinks I got something in my eye while I was cutting the grass this week. I look like I've been in a fistfight.

How long will this go on , it could be like this for days

Watertown Police said earlier in the day that operations could continue into the weekend. We're outside of the "dragnet" here, but it could still be a difficult weekend if the stringent lockdown continues.

Okay, it's been like 16 hours now. If all of these local cops, federal cops, and national guard haven't found him by now, I don't think he's still there.

Could it be that they pretty much know where he is, but hesitate to rush in and grab him for public safety reasons? Reports are that they're pretty sure he's either wearing or carrying explosives. (I speak as one who doesn't know much about military/police procedures.) He's got nothing left to lose, and could be planning on taking a lot of law enforcement with him when the chips are down.

So nuts ... all of Boston and several outlying communities are under "shelter in place" orders---stay inside with the doors locked, don't answer the door except for uniformed police. No public transportation is running, and the cabs have been shut down. We're several miles west of the lockdown area, but we're keeping abreast of the news. Never saw a situation like this before; hopefully never again.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

My eye hurts! I don't know what happened. I thought it was just allergies, but now my right eye is swollen almost shut. Of course this would happen the day before the band has to play. LOL The doctor gave me some drops, but no help so far.

Today is my 25 year anniversary with the company. They found a picture of me playing in the band on the internet and posted it on our information TVs here in the office and in the plant. Funny guys!

I am on lunch break. Not eating anything but fruit. It is very humid the temp is 82F heat index is 92F rain is on the way without a doubt. They are forecasting between an inch and 3 then great weekend weather is coming! Lows in the upper 40's highs in the lower 70's perfect mid spring weather!!

here the temps were at 17c (62f) this morning and down to 6c (42f) right now. Expecting snow tonight!

I would imagine that they would do a second sweep just to be sure and then they are going to be at sitting out front of every persons house that he has ever had contact with.

Hello everyone. Happy Friday! Well, I entered the world of smart phones last night. My wife dropped her cell phone in a big ol' rain puddle, couldn't find it for a few minutes, so it just sat there collecting water for a while. It was an old phone, and we needed to upgrade anyway, as it was on it's last leg. We went to the store and all they had were smart phones, save for one little phone that we didn't like. Anyway, I'm the owner of a new iPhone. Any killer apps I need to get or neat tricks I need to know about? I'm new to the smart phones, so I'm learning as I go.

Been gone for a few hours, trying to get caught up with the whole Boston lockdown. I did see that the Red Sox & Bruins both postponed their games tonight. I hope they find this guy soon.
