Oh yeah, Seawaters, a follow up to my love for animals. It just happened again right now while watching the news. I just saw on there that a kangaroo was loose on the streets and I did my usual baby talk and said, "Oh, I want one"! Wayne just laughed. I do this allllll the time with every animal!!! If I followed through with getting all the animals I desired I would end up on that Animal Hoarders show. :lol: I do have some self control though. =)

How about a Mountain lion? We use to have a customer that brought his into autozone with him all the time. It was shy and hid behind his legs the whole time.

Wayne and I have often made those types of jokes about his job and raises. Finally after a few years he got one and it wasn't bad! But it was a running joke for awhile!

Good morning, everyone!

I discovered last night that my academic adviser accidentally misled me. When you view a degree audit through my college, each category will either show up with a plus sign or a minus sign. A plus means you finished that section and a minus means you need to complete more. Well, last semester before I dropped a class, it was showing up with a plus sign in a section when my adviser checked my degree audit. Then after I dropped it, the sign changed to a minus and neither of us knew. That meant that I had to take an extra class in order to graduate. Thankfully, I checked my audit last night on my own and noticed that something wasn't right. I now have to change my schedule but I think everything will work out. I am lucky I caught the error otherwise I would have to go an extra semester for simply one class!

My first day was good yesterday. I think I am actually going to like the class that I had in the morning. The professor is nice and the material seemed interesting enough.

I am going to have a busy day today. There are so many things I need to get done!

Good morning everyone!

It's Tuesday. And it's a lot different from Monday. This morning seemed like March rather than January. Yesterday's -24c is now today's 0c. It was a warm and slushy walk to the bus. Anyway, not much is happening today. I have no real plans after work. It should be a quiet evening.

Perhaps I will go to the gym for a 30 minute run. My doctor says that I should be running for about 30 minutes at least five times per week in order to help my knee recover. It sounds strange, but it has felt better after every run. Even so, I'm still excited for my next appointment on Thursday. Active Release Therapy is painful, but it feel much better once it's all over. Hopefully it continues to help. The $55 sessions can be pricey!

Well, time to return to work. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Have a great Tuesday!

Roll Tide!!!

I will be a Vols fan, no matter how bad they are, but I will always root for an SEC team in any other game. My brother is a Bama fan & I'm sure he enjoyed his early birthday gift of another National Championship.

DD wants a UT Vols birthday party this year & for everyone to wear orange & white. I don't know if my brother & his family can do it!

So far so good this month. Usually some type of mini-crisis happens in January. I just hold my breath, waiting to see what it will be this year!

Hoping to get the last two trees down this weekend. Totes are labeled now, so it shouldn't take too long.

Second Tuesday of the year, and counting!

Had a lot of trouble getting my nice new artificial tree back into its storage bag this weekend, and was trying to think of a better way. Mr. came up with the idea of using a big, round trash barrel to store it, so we got one last night. I'll try repacking the tree this weekend. It's in two sections, so hopefully I can just set the bottom section down into the barrel, ease the top section in beside it, and cover the whole thing against dust. If this works, it'll make it much easier to set up and take down each year!

I would love to have one! Then again I know there are dangers to getting an animal like that and a lot of animals I want as pets would not be wise to have. They belong in their natural habitat but it's nice to dream of having them all!!!

That is strange recovery! I never thought of running for knee recovery. I hope you heal quickly!!!

Umm... 0c (32f) is like March to you??? Lol! I like that kind of March weather. =) Usually getting up in the 70's-80's for us by then. We get some cool days too but usually not that low.

The only schools here that require uniforms are Catholic schools and other private schools. Some charter schools might require them. I like uniforms, but they aren't cheap here. How did your day go?

all schools over here have uniforms, even pre school play groups but they are not as strict, and primary schools as well
and they take a motion evry 3/4 years to change them so everyone has to go buy new again ,
They wood be pretty expensive for the high school but the goverment give a grant to help those on benifits ( i have said its a great country we live in if your not working )
Maybe about 3 times a year they have non uniform day for charity and evryone pays £2 or something and htey dont have to wear they uniform

My artificial tree came in sections, too. I use a large travel bag, the kind that holds hangup clothes, that my mother gave to me. Perfect fit!

that is what mine is in right now!
