Good morning everyone!

It appears that I am a little late to this party, but a big congratulations to Ballcoach on his baby girl! So happy for you and your wife. You're going to be a great dad!!!

We've made it to double digits in April. And it is proper commemorated with a 'Pines Day! I'd say it feels great to celebrate 'Pines Day and Spring but I'd be lying. There is no Spring in Ottawa. In fact, our forecast for Friday says that we will receive about 20cms of snow! That's about 8 inches! Will we ever get warm weather? Furthermore, this has me a little worse sine we're suppose to have our first tryout of the season on Sunday. I hope the snow can melt quickly!

I really should return to work. We're quite busy and a little behind. I hope to be able to check in throughout the day. Have a great Wednesday, everyone. Enjoy the 'Pines!

Glad Palmer is ok now. Maybe a loud noise startled her?

Both Mouse & Palmer sound so sweet!!

I am doing ok, too, thanks.

Good luck with your basement. I pray there is no flooding.

That makes such a mess. My parents basement had some water coming in while they were in AZ, we think it was melting snow seeping in. My sister had to move all of their stuff in the utility room, and clean it up often. It molded pretty quick, so they've been cleaning it up with bleach & whatnot. Ugh.

We are as prepared as we can be, I guess :/ It's supposed to start for us overnight, and last through Friday. They're saying snow, rain, sleet, icy roads, and possible power outages. I sure hope it's not that bad.

And we're supposed to drive down to see our parents this weekend..I hope we don't have to cancel.

Hope you guys stay safe & warm!! I'll be thinking of you. Xo

I hope your trip doesn't have to be canceled! Stay safe, snowflake!!

When I read about Palmer flying out of the bedroom and hiding, I immediately thought, "Oh, boy, what has she done?" I thought she had done something that might have gotten her into trouble and was hiding about that, afraid she had been caught! LOL!

I Palmer-proofed the bathroom a while back, at least I think I did. cheesy There was a county truck down the road when I got home, I think the noise it was making is probably what scared her. The guys were sawing bushes down for clear sight areas.

Now I'm worried about you!!

It would be fascinating to see from afar, and if no one would get hurt. But since we can't have that guarantee, please just BE SAFE!!

Exactly!

I didn't get to read all the posts because I've got to head to bed

but....

I've seen a lot of great things and really touching tributes over the past few days...I just wanted to point out that, in my opinion, changing her title to Christmas Angel was the best, most fitting gesture I've ever seen....when Ryan pointed that out....I stopped and went to look....touching...very touching.....

Nice touch of class from a classy group....

Best board on the net....hands down...

Very well said, coach!

Time to say good night. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning and then a doctor's appointment. Not sure if I will have a chance to get on early or not. TTYT

Good luck with your appointments - I pray all is right and pain-free!

ok, really tried to read all the posts but am running out of time!
I have to leave for work in a few min, another day of getting the store ready for our opening day on Friday.

It is raining hard now, supposed to keep up and then turn into ice rain or snow by tomorrow.

So have a great day everyone, see you again tonight!

Hope all is ok with you and everyone else regarding the rain and the storms

Thank you, Shellie! I hope you have a lovely day today!

And a good morning to you all!

I was so exhausted last night - I just couldn't get online. I most of my days on a computer and sometimes when I get home at night, its hard for me to sit in front of one.

It was a tough day yesterday too. My job is so pressure-filled, and I had a meltdown right at my desk and cried (literally)! Sometimes my work load feels so overwhelming.

I am okay this morning though - but would have loved to get just 10 more minutes sleep when that alarm clock went off! Hahaha!

Ahhhhh...but I am grateful for another day and that I get to go to work!

Have a merry and bright day!!!

I know what you mean! I hope today is a far better day for you and that your day is merry and bright, too!

Mecea...keep me updated on the flooding...this aint funny...we were almost fpooded on christmas...not cool...praying for you that all goes fine

Morning Christmas Family,
My two oldest girls fixed supper for me last night for my Birthday, it was so sweet of them and then they even did the dishes! My Husband called to wish me a happy birthday and told me that him and the kids are going to celebrate my birthday when he comes back home on the 22nd. I told him I was happy with what I got a wonderful supper, and wonderful friends and family wishing me a happy birthday. But I know Him and he will make good on what he says lol. anywho, been watching the weather here and it looks like it's going to get nasty here, so keep us in your prayers please! as I am keeping my family here in mine with the weather and stuff going on.

I know today is going to be hard on everyone, but it's comforting to know we are here for one another. and I have been watching the threads and I made a signature and if anyone wants to use it they are more than welcome to. I like to tinker with pictures and make stuff like this and just wanted to do something to honor and remember Louanne.

here is the code if you want it http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee269/sassymomma2u/louannememory_zpsaaf96f7a.jpg[/IMG

just put the bracket ] at the end and it should work

and if anyone wants something made let me know, I won't mind abit tinkering for ya.

Hugs to all the family here at MMC I love each and every one of Y'all
Praying for good weather for you, lilnoelelf! Take care!! {{{HUGS}}}

My thoughts and prayers today are with Louann ...I am praying for her family and friends to have the strnghts to go through this day

Me, too! {{{HUGS}}}

I've only seen them on TV and I've had plenty of dreams about them coming towards me! Well...they were nightmares! They look really frightening! Are they expecting tornadoes where you are?

I dream about them a lot, too, esp. when it is windy out. They look very frightening!

Gon have some small lunch with Kandice now...then rest alittle...
Got a little cold and want to get rid of it...prob gon have our first bbq of the at the weekend!!!

I hope you are better soon and that you will be able to have your bbq!

That storm system is headed our way, will see what happens to it when it crosses the lake.
Penny will sit at the window during a storm too, every time thunder rolls she ducks. Pocket goes and hides in the basement, does not like storms one bit.

The forecast changed overnight - now it is rain until Friday and then rain/snow showers through Sunday. Poor Pocket! Mouse will stay wherever she is snoozing out unless there is very loud thunder and frequent lightning, esp. overhead. Then she will go sit in the living room or wake me up to hold her. Palmer is the one I worry about as she does not come when I call her unless I am eating cookies and she thinks I have a cookie crumb for her (one fell on the floor and she has been addicted to begging for them ever since). I have her crate ready. I'm going to hate to do it, but she will have to be put in there so I can get her quickly if there is severe weather on tap. Take care, Christmasstar!

I'm listening to the Partridge Family's "Come On Get Happy", and I am!!! I'm loving being here again and being part of the Christmas community...

It was 85 here yesterday...YUCK!!!

On the home front, the work is almost done, the painting being the second to last item on the to-do list, and they are there today...The final item will be the TV back up, this time above the fireplace, and the stereo hooked up to blast Christmas Music!!!

So life is good! Challenging to say the least, but good...

Hope today is a great one for everyone!

JayIsh:hello:

So good to have you back and posting! I love the Partridge Family!!!
