Christmas Countdown - 2013

I have quite a few friends out that way who are part of a church not far from Hill that draws some Hill employees.

I used to live in Brigham City, which isn't too far north of there. I wouldn't mind living there now, but don't want to uproot the kids or anything. I can let you know of some good places to eat and hang out in that area, if you're interested. Let me know.

Yes that sounds great. I am all about the eating!!!! Anyone that knows me will tell you I live for food and going out to eat. I will send you a PM closer to the time I move,and thanks for the info this will be my 5th or 6th move but the first for my wife besides when she moved out at 18 for college. I have never lived in the Mt region of the west I could possibly look to retire here.

Happy Thursday friends! Another day closer to the weekend, another day closer to the Christmas season...I find myself at this time of year, and on into the summer, really planning in my head about what I want to do and what I want to see in December...I like to listen to the music on my headphones and no one knows but they must know something is up by the smile on my face. All the best guys!

I've been known to sneak a few Christmas songs in on my iPod, too! One of my all time favorite songs is "All I Want for Christmas is You" (the Vince Vance and the Valiants song). Usually, by July, I can't go any longer without hearing it so I throw it in my rotation. After that, more and more Christmas songs start making their way in. Can't wait!!!

Well its kind of a warm muggy day today. Our A/C is not working well and the repair guy is here to fix it,and we don't have any windows that will open so yeah it's kind of a bad day to work. I was just looking at the calendar and it looks like we well under 200 days for the beginning of Halloween/Fall decorating season which for me always starts oct 1st. So time is moving fast. I did not eat lunch today with everyone else here because I was still stuffed from breakfast of waffles and sausage. I think we are having pizza rolls for dinner. I fixed those a month ago and they are sooo easy and so good. Well I better be going before I get in trouble.Have a good day everyone!

It just premiered last night. It's based on the Grand River Singers from my hometown of La Crosse. Going to be interesting & filled with drama, drama, drama!! But it's neat to see La Crosse & all of my old stomping grounds!!!

Good Morning!

Ran the air conditioner last night, it has been very warm the past few days, almost 90 degrees. Woke up to very chilly weather, 48 degrees and rainy right now. It will be cool the rest of the week. Yay!

My granddaughter is with my mom right now but will be here in a few minutes. Thanks to those who have been asking about her, she is feeling so much better!

Well the storms aren't here yet but the wind is horrible. I thought I was going to get blown away when I went out to get the mail.

Good Thursday afternoon everyone. Hope all stay safe from the storms in the midwest. Not much going on here. High School baseball is back after last week's spring break. We lost Tuesday and play again Friday.

I believe I said before, my son a HS junior, plays and has covered high school baseball for our weekly newspaper for the last 3 years. Since there were no games last week, he was asked to write about how the county's middle school baseball team's season was going. Our newspaper is now partially available online so please excuse me for boasting but here is a link to his latest article;

The folks at Weinstein & Company just informed me that they confirmed a sit down interview for me with DAVID LETTERMAN on Monday June 10th with a possible performance afterwards to promote TWENTY FEET FROM STARDOM!!!! This will be my first time EVER sitting on the couch with Dave and as you all know I've appeared on his show for 26 years in a row singing "(Christmas Baby) Please Come Home". I'm actually a lil nervous but VERY excited and it's not even Christmas!!!! LOL
