Tell your mom Happy Mother's Day from me. My mom is in Heaven so it is difficult to send a card and flowers. Have some Tony's chocolate ice cream for me and some fish and hushpuppies!!! Have you been to the new Lineberger's yet, or did I ask you that already, LOL? I hear you about the weather. I will be glad when fall gets here again! Be careful on your drive.

Happy Friday everyone. We have an 'old-timers' baseball game today with our former high school baseball players playing our current varsity squad. It is fund raiser and should be fun. That will end baseball for this high school season since we didn't make the playoffs.

Weather here has been a little too warm for me. It got up to 75 at my house yesterday and looking at 71 today with a chance of thunderstorms. Better weather is on the way with highs in low 60s and lows in lower 30's for Sunday and Monday. Wish it would stay that way all summer but it won't.

Hope everyone has a great mother's day weekend. We will be driving down to visit with my wife's and my mom this weekend.

What are your weekend plans?

We are going to lay low, until Sunday. Adrian will be going to his Mom & Dad's later today to help them do some painting, and will be there on & off all weekend.

On Sunday morning, Har & I are going to take a little road trip & head to my parents to spend Mother's Day with my Mom. We will probably stay overnight. Looking forward to that =}

It's going to be a beautiful sunny day here, with a high of 65 degrees. Perfect!

I did not sleep well again last night. I finally fell asleep after 3:30 a.m. and I woke up at 6 a.m. I have been working all day on organizing the TV room and will soon be finished. My goal is to complete it before we leave for Disneyland. I am leaving in a few minutes to go have my nails done, so when I get back, I will have to be careful! The swelling in my face is slowly receding, so maybe I will look halfway human before we leave. When I get back this afternoon, I will continue working until I am finished. I have already done three loads of laundry and will soon do some ironing. THEN I will relax!!! TTYL

Adrian & I took her for a walk this afternoon, and I noticed something on her leg when we got back...:/
It was a tick...
I freaked out!! Luckily, I got it before it had embedded itself. Talk about adrenaline rush. She is on Frontline Plus, so it should've died soon anyways, but still. Scary.

We didn't even go anywhere in the woods, but she did go near the edge.

I bought my Mom a nice spring outfit and sandals and a new charm for her bracelet. She loves to drink tea and I found a cute little teapot charm. I hope she likes everything!

Molly and Maggie are also on Frontline, but I still would have been scared too. I'm happy you found the tick and Harlowe is alright xo
