Good afternoon from the sick ward,

Okay, here we go, LC is home today getting an extra day of rest. JP woke up with pink eye, and had to stay home, then after a trip to the Dr office this morning, JP now is suffering from the same stomach bug LC had. My wife called me from work and said she is feeling rotten, and planning to miss work tomorrow. Myself, my sinuses are absolutely killing me, my eyes are watering because of the pain, and I keep getting a bloody nose, so I must have yet another sinus infection. So I have put out the quarantine sign to keep people out. cheesy

Praying you all feel better soon.

Sorry CS, but the whole area is still in a buzz about the Bruins game last night. That comeback was one of the greatest I have ever seen, considering when the Bruins were down by 3 with 15 minutes to play I nearly shut the TV off. I am glad I didn't. Something like that is why I love sports.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Hope everyone gets feeling better!

My sports night was the opposite of yours. In the NBA playoffs, my OKC Thunder was up by 17 then blew their lead to lose the game!

What a lovely bunch of ladies.

86???? You better keep those warm temps up that way!!!!

We are almost to 90 today. In July and August (heck, probably in June) I'll be longing for those cool temps of the mid-80s! Oklahoma summers can be brutal, but we're not near as bad as Texas!

Praying that your niece's appointment goes well today.

made I´m praying that Your niece´s appointment turns out well!!!

Thanks. She got 4 shots and had 2 vials of blood taken all without screaming. So she did better then I would have!!!!

When they were listening to her heart though, they thought they heard something. My sister was induced 2 weeks early because her heart was skipping then but she has never had any problems since she was born. So they are going to do an echo cardiogram on her tomorrow to see if there is something going on. My mom and other sister both have murmur's so we are hoping that's all it is.

Good afternoon everyone. Not much is going on here. Sloooooow day at work!

Since I'm finished with school and have a bit more time on my hands, I've picked back up with my family history. Genealogy is a very fun and addicting hobby. I've been working on it off and on for years now, and hope to get it organized this summer. Any one else into it? If so, what do you use to organize your information (computer programs, etc.).

She is definitely a trooper! Bless her heart.

Praying that the cardiogram goes well tomorrow, and that she gets some good results. Sending hugs.

Hey You,

we are doing good....Stripey is sitting in Kandice´s Tipi in our living room (yes....I got a Tipi in our living room...hahaha...a small one for kids)....and Kandice is playing a bit before she goes to bed....in school she´s been struggling with maths a little....her concentration was off for a two weeks...now she is back calculating like it was the easiest thing ever...oh.....and she was voted the "Reading Queen" of her class :D....I was very, very proud

Hooray for the Reading Queen!

I'm hoping the same.

Mid-80' s as cool temps? I would still be melting faster than Frosty in a greenhouse there. cheesy Anything above 72 is too warm for me.

I have never done it, but both sides of family are very well traced. My father's side has had a family reunion annually for well over 100 years. I am a long way off related to L.L. Bean, the retailer, too bad I am not more closely related. My grandfather on my mother's side was able to trace my family history all the way back to Alaric I in century 300-400 France. I don't know how he did it, but he passed away nearly 20 years ago, so he was able to do it with no internet. He was the smartest person I ever met though.
Good luck with your research.

Congratulations Kandice!!!

I'll do the same thing if you make me one of those smoothies!!!!!!!

When I made it for her I got another hug and told I was the, best super hero in the whole world, again! LOL.. I can get use to that! :D

I'm in Texas and yes, the mid 80's are heaven here! As soon as late June hits we stay right near 100 and up! Ugh!

Gabulldawg and I have had conversation that now we find those hot temps a blessing because it puts us in the Christmas spirit sooner longing for cooler days. I must think positive about the heat somehow and Christmas is the best medicine for positive thinking!!!

home from work, supper cooking, TV on, now I think I need to turn up the heat, it is chilly in here.
Dancing with the stars is on again tonight, other than that I am really not doing anything tonight.

Well I broke down and turned on the A/C. I figured I better make sure it's running okay before we see those 90 degree temps tomorrow.

Good evening, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well. Quite the busy past few weeks - and even busier weeks coming up. Love it, but miss all of you.

Be safe and MERRY!

No kidding! Wow! Is yours as well-worn as mine? When I first got it when I was little, I used to play it three or four times a day!

Mine is well-used, but I don't believe I played it as much as you played yours. cheesy
