Quite a few rumbles going on all around us. One of the local news channels is down the road filming the clouds from on top of the mountain. There was a tornado warning to the west of us just over an hour ago, but we should be safe. The angels are really having a heck of a bowling match though.

we are now under a severe thunderstorm watch here. There has been crazy weather going through this area all day.
Right now it is just hot and muggy with a bit of rain coming down.
I am glad we put in the air conditioners yesterday!

Well my sister finally heard back about the official results of my niece's echo cardiogram. The tech was right. She has 2 murmur's and a secundum atrial septal defect. So basically there is a hole between the upper 2 chambers of her heart and there is blood going back and forth between the 2 chambers. They got her into the cardiologist Friday afternoon to see what the next step is.

Good evening, MMC!

It has cooled off nicely, but the mosquitoes are horrendous. I did a quick check of the gardens - no beans yet, but there are 14 zucchini plants started. Yay! The tomatoes and peppers in the main garden have perked up considerably, but a few of the broccoli seedlings didn't survive. I started 15 of them, so I should be able to replace the two lost. I am currently relaxing and Mouse is snoozing at the foot of the bed. The birds are singing merrily away and the frogs are providing a nice accompaniment - love this time of the evening! I am going to get off the computer and read for a bit.

my garden is not even in yet, I was thinking to wait till we got back from Vermont, but then it will be to late, but now I do not feel like it, but later I will be sad that I did not do it.
Your garden sounds nice, maybe I will just come over and enjoy yours instead!

Mecka, that garden sounds great. Star, I'm with you, I haven't done anything yet as well with my garden because of recouping from the knee surgery (which for this time of year is very unusual for me). However, I do have high hopes that this weekend I will venture out for the first time to the garden and till it and maybe finally get some plants into the ground!
