I'm still trying to decide which stain to use on the deck I built last year! that TREX is good stuff, I used it on my front porch, but it's too expensive to use on my pool deck...it's too big! I used TREX for the deck boards on the main deck, but thought I'd save some money by going treated lumber for the stairs, railings, spindles and main supports... Spindles, yup; 4 sides to each one... They're killing me...:lol:

We love Universal and SeaWorld, too, but this year it's 10 days in the Smoky Mountains. Ahhhhh, indeed! cheesy Oh yea, were looking forward to this road trip! When are you guys heading to the Smoky Mountains? Is that a camping vacation or are there some other things to do there?

Glad your son is doing well. Thank him again for his service!

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. I'm back at work, facing a pile of the never-ending forms, and daydreaming about lounging in the yard, eating hot dogs. Maybe we can eat dinner outside, if it decides not to rain.

My first concert was New Kids on the Block!!!!!!

I can also sing the lyrics to Step by Step. My wife was/is a massive New Kids fan. She had their sheets, pillows, posters, t-shirts, and just about everything else you can think of from them back in the late '80s and very early '90s.

They are currently on a reunion tour and my wife is going with a group of her girlfriends in July when they come to Oklahoma City . I'm glad I'm sitting this concert out! She said, "You sure you don't want to go?" I told her, "Oh, someone has to watch the kids...you go honey, I'll be alright."

I would of loved to have met him.... I saw his name in your post and I have to tell this. This past weekend, we were watching a movie called the Birdcage, (with Robin Williams, Nathan lane, gene Hackman) and in that movie, which is a scream to watch in the first place, is a clip, a skit about John Wayne that you'll die laughing about.

Well, I about thought I was going to fall off the couch from laughing so hard, especially when Nathan lane was trying to walk like John Wayne. I was screaming, laughing so hard, I had tears coming from my eyes and gasping for breath laughing soooo hard. My daughter was rolling around the floor from laughing so hard, I just kept on saying, "that's not right"...

Anyways, when you get the chance watch the movie, you'll pee yourself from laughing so hard....:lol:

I saw that movie once...back in the '90s...but don't remember that part. Thanks for the heads up...I will have to check it out sometime!

the New Kids were on Tour with the Backstreet Boys two years ago I believe....or was it last year? they were sold out almost everywhere they went....

I was at a Backstreet Boys concert in 2005 and You can´t compare the hysteria with the late 90s no more...the fans grew up, too......so the New Kids concert willl be loud....but fun, too

I hope she gets better.... Was she outside today and maybe ate some grass or got ahold of something out there?

I just saw this.......It is a teapot that kinda looks like Adolf Hitler.......from JC Peney

this topic is a serious one and usually I don´t joke about Hitler or anything to do with it.......but this teapot really got me

No, not yet...at first it seemed normal, in the sense a dog will sometimes throw up if they have an upset tummy.

Keeping a very close eye on her, though. I need to make sure she drinks plenty.

Happy Tuesday everyone. This is a big day in Christmas history. On this day in 1942, Bing Crosby first recorded "White Christmas" for the movie "Holiday Inn', (great movie).

My mom is back in the hospital with more complications from her cancer. She has been there since Wednesday. Not sure when she will get to come home. It is not looking good.

Nasty hot weather is now here. We are looking at highs of 81-82 the rest of this week. Still looking forward to vacation 6/26 - 7/4. Once that is over, I'm ready for fall.
