Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We have some customers coming in for the plant tour and meetings today. I'm never going to get my work done.

VBS is going good. I like the outdoor games with the water balloons best. Fun stuff!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I forgot to mention but I have the movie, Snowglobe, on DVD. I thought my, almost 4 year old, granddaughter might like the scenes when she steps inside the Snowglobe. Well, actually she LOVES the whole entire movie and ask to watch it all the time. I keep 3 Christmas snow globes out all year and she will ask to hold one while she watches the movie.

She was watching the movie one day and asked about the pregnant lady in the movie if that was a baby in her tummy. I told her it is. Then later in the movie she said, "grandma, that lady has a different shirt on". I agreed with her that she does, then she said, "who held the baby when she changed her shirt"? I guess she thinks the baby just sits under your shirt for 9 months!!! That little girl keeps Wayne and I laughing all the time!!!

LOL!!!!!

My son-in-law works for a moving company and often is given nice items during the move. Yesterday he surprised me with 6 Christmas houses from Hawthorne collection! They were still in the package. I have something new to add to my Christmas village this year! That was so sweet of him to think of me!

Our little furry family member is still doing well. Maris has adjusted to home life very well considering she lived on the streets for the first year of her life. She is one happy little girl and we are thrilled to have her!

That's a great surprise and I'm glad to hear my little buddy is doing good!!!

101....

That's how hot it got today.....101.

But it doesn't matter? Why doesn't it matter?

Because tomorrow I'm off...it's a vacation day for me! Woot woot! See yall in the morning for coffee....

Enjoy your day off friend!!!!!!

Good Wednesday, everyone.

As hot as it is here (upper 90s today, heat index of over 100), I will not need the hot tub tonight at the Pines! In fact, I hope Carl cranks the A/C up high and has some snow cones or something. Maybe that crazy camel has the pool all ready to go and it is just waiting, inviting us all for a swim. I think I may talk to Carl about putting in a water slide, too.

Hope you all have a great day!

So happy to see the sun out this morning! (almost forgot what it looked like) We are having our picnic, but with all the rain last night it may still be to wet on the ground to be outside. We will see how it goes.
Have a great morning everyone!

I wish I did!! If I ever find one, I'll let you know!!

I have some really good Halloween screensavers!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I downloaded a general countdown app, took a shot of it:

And you can make a countdown for any event here! They have default pics, or you can upload one from your camera roll. That's what I did.

I have a Halloween background app:

Now that's a pretty cool thing to have!:-D Do you or anyone else know if something like that is avialable for a PC, that you can download and have it at the bottom of your screen? I would love to have say a Halloween and a Christmas countdown clock running~

If you have Google Chrome web browser (free to download) there is this free Christmas countdown app:

I have not seen a Halloween app, but they have several countdown apps you can customize. Hope this helps.

So nice to be able to post a few times on here but in about 10 minutes I will have my 3 grandchildren here. Going to be busy! We will have to go outside early to play because by the time it gets near noon we have to shut ourselves inside, way too hot! We might take the bikes out today.

I was reminiscing last night of the summers past with my kids. I absolutely LOVED my kids being out for the summer and felt sad when they had to go back to school. We had so much fun!!! I would babysit kids all summer and we had a blast all summer long. It was a lot of work but we did so much! Traveling, swimming, Chuck E. Cheese, trips downtown on the Dart Light Rail and more.

I would sometimes keep the kids I babysat overnight and have a camp out. I would tell them we can "stay up all night long" and watch movies. We would all gather in the living room with our sleeping bags for the big night, have a few snacks then had to lay down, no getting up and running around. They thought they were up "all night" but in reality, they were out during the first hour of the movie. They just thought that was so cool to tell their parents they were up all night! The parents got a kick out of that. :D

My daughter, son and I talk about this a lot. Now I get to have this fun with my grandchildren. It's still hard work and I get tired no matter what but we make it as fun as possible. I need more breaks more than I use to need. Hard keeping up with the kids! I need their energy! =)

C-a-H, this is Jude's last year home... he starts kindergarten in the fall and I am so sad! I have so much fun with my kids.. I wish I could keep them at home with me forever!!! Thankfully kindergarten is only 3 hours here so we will have afternoons.. but boy, will I miss my biggest baby!

ok, if my team could not be in the playoffs I guess I could cheer along with you for yours! How many games do you think it will take them to win?

Cool!!!!

I don't care how many games it takes as long as they win. cheesy But I will say 7 games.

Another kink in my QVC CiJ plans.. just got a bday party invite for the 20th... at 3pm... right in the middle of my Christmas watching! Ugh!! It sounds bad but I hope our friends leave early on Sunday so I can just wear my Christmas jammies and hunker down with the hubby and kids and QVC!!

Happy Pines day everyone. A hot day here in the mountains. We are forecast to hit 88 in town and 84 at our house (difference in elevation). Too hot for me.

Busy here at work as we are reaching the end of the state's fiscal year. I have to get my part of year-end completed before June 26 so we can go on vacation. So looking forward to vacation this year.

Have a blessed day everyone.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be HOT here today with a high of 91 and a heat index of over 100. Then we are going to have some strong storms overnight. Fun. My sister has no hot water so I have to go look at her water heater to see if I can figure out what's going on. Then it will be back home to sit in front of the A/C for the rest of the afternoon and evening. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Keep cool!!!
