Good evening!
The veterinarian finally called me back late this evening and suggested that Maggie go back on the steroids and hopefully that will help to control her cough. I wish she called me earlier so I could have made it there before they closed. I would have liked to have started the meds tonight but I'll have to go first thing in the morning to get them. I hope she is alright tonight.
Anyway, I took my youngest out driving today. I still don't like the way she drives. Drivers Ed goes through the end of July, I'm hoping to see some improvement by then. And I will try and let her drive more often because I know she needs the practice.
Not too much going on here tonight. The girls are all out and last time I saw my hubby he said he had to clean the pool filter. I'm going to take my dogs to bed, turn up the air conditioner and read for a while.

glad to hear about wee maggie. hope the steriods help. they will strengthen the lungs.

Why do bugs like me so much? The other day it was mosquito's and tonight it was ants!!! I might have to get a plastic bubble to go outside in here soon.

could be your aftershave or bodysprays. . we get wasps and hell they can string, and the saying is they are attrached by the sprays you were

And yet another count figure:
Days to the Season: 127
Days to Christmas Day: 169
A bare 5 days remain until our next Milestone, the 2/3 Season marker.
Can it really be that close?
More amazing than that, can a double-digit Season count really be less than 4 weeks away?
(Boggles the mind, it does!)

Well, same old weather, with.........
Ah! Doesn't even warrant repeating.
Suffice it to say, we are at 74 degrees right now with more rain predicted.

Couldn't the engineer tell that the tracks were flooded???

Glad the storm missed you , and how does a driver not see that the tracks is flooded. is it on automatic ?

they got a months worth of rain in less than one hour, it happened so fast there was nothing anyone could do, flash flooding closed much of the subway system as well. This morning there are still roads flooded, sections of subway not running, some tracks washed away, it is a mess. If you can stay on the main arteries going past the city it is fine, it is more the downtown areas near the lake that are hardest hit.

I am getting so excited for the ornament premiere. Those ladies at my local Hallmark are Killin' me...I called to see when the ornament premiere started & they said ???This weekend??? I replied, ..."yes I know, what time? " They said "Saturday morning...??" I then said..." And...What time, please?!"
It was hilarious!!! They crack me up!!

I wish we could all go together. That would be so great =]

She was near death at one point at her local hospital in Gastonia. Once we finally got her transferred to Wake Forest hospital, they were able to determine the problem and clear the intestinal blockage. We learned there is a clear difference in hospitals and doctors. She is now home with her colostomy working well but she also has a wound pump, a drain line from her right kidney, and a drain line from her small intestine. She can walk around her house but is still weak.

Yip sounds like a hard and worring time. thank god she was moved in time to get it sorted, at least now she is home doing not so bad , shes a tough lady. hope all continures to be ok with your mum. ~}

I can't even imagine how scary that must have been. Glad to hear that the second hospital got it all figured out. I'm still keeping all of you in my prayers.
