Good evening, friends!!

How are you tonight?

I am going to hit the hay early. I have to get up very early tomorrow morning, before sunrise. Need to be on the road by 6:00 AM. Heading to eat Edina, Minnesota (Minneapolis) for classes.
Hope I make good time & don't get lost! LOL.

Seawaters, do you want to meet me for some dinner? I know you know some good places!! How about you pick up some of our MMC friends on the Lear?! Who is in?

I ordered a Halloween Countdown over the weekend! It looks like this:

I also programmed the hands free link in my car to my new cell phone number!! I am so proud of myself, mostly because I'm not a techie.. I just watched a YouTube video and figured it out. It makes me feel so much better, since I'll be traveling a lot in the future.

I love the Halloween Countdown! I stopped in Michaels and Homegoods today while I was out, just to browse. It's so exciting to see all of the Halloween and Fall decor!
Have a safe trip tomorrow and count me in for dinner!

The teachers go back tomorrow, but this teacher doesn't, LOL!!! So, just for fun, I made Rice Krispies Squares with the chocolate cereal and strawberry marshmallows! So, so easy; less than 10 minutes to make and using only one pan, plus the pan for the finished product!!!

You better bring some of these on the lear!!!!

Just going over the posts from earlier while listening to Kaleidoscope/Fairfield Parlour, same group 2 different names. (Seawaters you may like this group, the harmonies are amazing and musicianship is beautiful, same timeframe as The Move)
I have 40 hours of work left before vacation, I cannot wait to take a week off to recharge. I have been doing extra work because I have had employees on vacation since the first week of July.

When I started taking the extra B-12, I started feel LOTS better after abut 2-3 days. Now, I am pretty sure I will have to get the B-12 shots because the pills don't seem to be doing as well as at the beginning.

Well that's a bummer!! I hope the shots keep you feeling the same way!!!

I love it too!!! I have bought a few things from them in the past.

I think you'll enjoy it when the time comes. We also got a Blu-ray player to take advantage of the HD picture. There's a bit of a learning curve, but DVDs look SO good. I'm getting used to widescreen pictures without letterboxing. We're looking at "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and it's gorgeous.

Btw, how was Molly's day?

Molly did good today! She got a new stuffed duck toy, to remind her of the two that use to be in my pool all the time. lol New bows, Molly and Maggie always get new bows. And cookies! There is a local pet store nearby that has the cutest little cookies for dogs. Molly and Maggie both had a couple of pink iced flower shaped cookies. I can't believe she is 11 already!

Good evening!
I hope everyone is well! I am tired, I ended up doing a lot of cleaning today. There is so much dust everywhere from the construction. I try and keep up with it but its hard to. I was able to run a couple of errands earlier but I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to. I ran in to Barnes and Noble for a book that I wanted and popped in to Hallmark quick. I finally picked up the Heavenly Belles ornament that I wanted. I am going to try and get back to Barnes and Noble this week. I love that store, I could walk around in there all day.
Well I have to wake up early again with my daughter, she has an appointment with an academic advisor first thing in the morning. There is a party going on in the house behind me. The music is so loud and it just started around 10:30. I guess I will turn up the fans, hopefully that will muffle the noise. We'll see what happens.

Last night's sky watching yielded zero shooting stars and it looks like tonight's total will be zero, too, as it is very overcast right now. There are thunderstorms in the forecast for later tonight/early morning. I started Gone Girl this morning and am almost a third of the way through. The library only had the large print edition - so much easier to read! Not much else is going on here - just did a lot of chores when I wasn't reading or being harassed by Palmer :lol: . My tomatoes are starting to ripen - finally! The apples, peaches and pears will be ready in a week or so - I will be so busy in the next weeks with canning and prepping for freezing. Grapes will be ready early next month - there are more this year than any year I can recall! I don't have the set-up to make wine so I am going to make grape ketchup - a recipe I found in an older cookbook. Sounds interesting!

Summer is over.

But as I think about it....if we don't start the school year....we won't ever get to have the Little Bambina, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, NFL and College Football, the Super Bowl....

I can't remember if I told you or not, but I downloaded both Gone Girl and Before You Go to Sleep. I just finished Winter Chill by Joanne Fluke. Somewhat scary!

I hope you enjoy them, they were my two favourite reads last year along with The Help.

To Kill a Mockingbird is another favourite , I think it was the first book I fell inlove with....I was about 9 when I first read it.

It already been a long day, we got awoken this morning to LC crying. He was crying because he dropped my wife's cellphone in the toilet, he wanted to listen to music while he was...umm...going. It's always something. We ordered a new one this morning, the phone wasn't working correctly anymore. (before it's unintentional swim)

I made some homemade blueberry bread, and tonight I am making my homemade Buffalo wings.

Just vegging out now, I would love to take a nap but my wife went to an Origami Owl party and I am watching the demons.
