Christmas Countdown - 2013

My wife and I have finished decorating the house. The 3 trees are up, the garland and the lights are up and the outdoor lights have been on since 4:30pm. I'm exhausted, sitting in my chair with Franklin (our cat) asleep on my lap watching the Raptors game...and I could not be happier. I love when the house is decorated.

I saw my first last night. It was for the Co operative Supermarket. I can't wait to se all the big ones like Coke, Debenhams, John Lewis, Boots ,M&S etc

Yaaaay! I saw my first real Christmas ad last night but I am waiting for the bigger ones to air still. Not much planned for the weekend. I am feeling a bit exhausted so I plan on taking it easy today and I'll be working tomorrow. What are you up to?

It is the first day of Christmas24 the Christmas movie channel! Yaaay!! I need to pop to the shops quickly and then I'll be spending this grey, misty day watching some Christmas movies .
I saw my first 'real' Christmas ad last night for one of the big supermarkets! I have started thinking about what presents to buy. I bought the first gift so far for my eldest a couple days ago. I want to get most of it done this month!
What are you all doing for the weekend?? Is it just me or does the air have a certain excitement to it!?

Days to the Season: 11 (SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 26 (Starting to close in on 3 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 53 (Just over 7 1/2 weeks away!)
And under a week away now from the start of Special Post Series 2013.
(Those are 5 days you just don't want to miss.)
And then the 11th hour countdown on the evening of Nov 12.
Hey! It just doesn't get any better around here, Guys!
Well, our weather took a wet turn yesterday with off and on rain for most of the day.

Have a Sensational Saturday and a Wonderous Weekend, Folks!

Rosco P. Coltrane....wow, Brent. Thats a name I havent heard in forever! Man, that brings back so many good memories. We bought a VCR when that show was on TV and we would tape that on Friday and local wrestling on Saturday morning and we would watch it all week! My brother and I loved that show! Awesome memories!

I got the car in black. It is so different from my truck, it's all touch screen and voice command. I need to get out there soon and figure everything out!

I am really getting excited now too! I am taking the girls to the mall today and we are going to try and pick up a few gifts, I am also hoping to get done early!

It is going to be mostly sunny today with temperatures in the lower 60's.
I straightened up the house and started a couple of chores so far. I need to walk the dogs after I finish my cup of coffee and then head out to get my food shopping done.
My girls are all off from work today. That doesn't happen very often. The plan is to have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and then go to the mall. I'm hoping to pick up a few Christmas gifts while we're there. I am excited and so ready to start shopping!
We'll meet up with my husband later for dinner, I'm going to make tacos and enchiladas for dinner!
I hope everyone is well and has a very happy Saturday!!!
