Looks like tornado is coming thru Huntsville al and moving up toward me right about now. Looks like might hit between huntland tn which got hit bad aboutt 3yrars ago and totaled my mother in laws house. So hope they don't get hit again.

I love how he sings Blue Christmas and The Little Drummer Boy reminds me of my dad. He use to play that one by Johnny Cash every December.

I am playing Johnny Cash Christmas Yule Log DVD right now with all my windows opened up letting the sunshine and cool air in. The neighbors are probably wondering what is up with the Christmas tunes!

LOL!!!!!! My neighbor's would think something was wrong if I was listening to something other than Christmas music.

Actually I do have one neighbor just like us and she wouldn't think a thing about it. She loves Christmas!!! She sends me her monthly email on the 25th counting down "How many months until Christmas". She sends it to every friend on her email list. Everyone hates it except for me and her daughter!

She said she also left her Christmas tree up one year until July, lit it up every night too!

Oh no. It looks like Tupleo, Mississippi just got hit hard by a tornado. That's the only thing I hate about this time of year!!!

I go away for a few hours and the place has been busy! =)

My mom, aunt, granddaughter and I packed up a picnic and went to the Arboretum. We had a nice time!

I sure hope everyone is okay in the path of this storm!

At the start of the year I had planned to try to keep up with this thread and follow some of the conversations taking place, but it moves way too fast for me!! I haven't posted for a while but I still visit often and just LOVE the Christmas spirit that abounds. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Three tornado warning from 12:00-3:30 a.m. means very little sleep. But I can catch up on sleep....just grateful that we are all ok. One of the towns that was hit last night was torn apart in 2011. They rebuilt and I'll be darned if they tornado didn't follow almost the exact path this time. Many of those who lost everything had just gotten everything back together. A sub-division of 56 new houses was leveled.

When I got to work and didn't have my brand of coffee, I was upset with myself. Once I realized how asinine that was, I laughed at myself. Taking for granted the fact that my coffee maker was still in a house and that I still had a house should have been what I thought.

It's times like these you learn to appreciate the blessings that you have.
