Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great Monday! I'm slowly getting caught up, but between work and general life, I just haven't made it there yet. I soon will.

I'm off to take a nap before work tonight. I will ttyt! God Bless and keep smiling!

Goodnight, Buddy!!!!!!

Three tornado warning from 12:00-3:30 a.m. means very little sleep. But I can catch up on sleep....just grateful that we are all ok. One of the towns that was hit last night was torn apart in 2011. They rebuilt and I'll be darned if they tornado didn't follow almost the exact path this time. Many of those who lost everything had just gotten everything back together. A sub-division of 56 new houses was leveled.

When I got to work and didn't have my brand of coffee, I was upset with myself. Once I realized how asinine that was, I laughed at myself. Taking for granted the fact that my coffee maker was still in a house and that I still had a house should have been what I thought.

It's times like these you learn to appreciate the blessings that you have.

we have been praying for everyone, take precautions and keep safe ((((HUGS))))

Things are getting dicey here....tornadoes are east of us....they have leveled two towns...Vilonia, AR and Mayflower, AR.

I have heard the reports, I hope you and yours are safe tonight.

At the start of the year I had planned to try to keep up with this thread and follow some of the conversations taking place, but it moves way too fast for me!! I haven't posted for a while but I still visit often and just LOVE the Christmas spirit that abounds. Hope everyone is having a good day.
:!!

Nice to see you!!!!

Good Morning, Post-Milestone-Frenzy Pals.

Wow!
Weekend Eve, the weekend itself and not one but TWO back-to-back Milestones.
Whew! Do we need a rest!

The count:
Days to the Season: 199
Days to Christmas Day: 241

And oh! Doesn't that 199 look niiiice!
(Makes us seem so much closer, doesn't it?)

And now for our next Milestone......
No.
Too soon.
Can't do it.
Let's wait a bit.

Super weather continues but not for much longer.
Rain is predicted for most of the week ahead.
Oh, well. The bad weather just makes us appreciate the good that much more.
Currently, our back yard thermometer reads 58 degrees to start off the new week.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!

Ahhhhh, that under 200 day smell!!! It is wonderful!

I would love to see them over my house!

I am sorry they canceled the shows!

I guess you need to come down some time! We use to have just one big air show per year, this year 2 air shows! One of them just now and the other one will be in October with the Thunderbirds!

Those are all great, of course!
The first song from the Beatles that got me hooked was, In My Life. My brother is the one who got me started listening to them and told me to hear that song. Now going on 30+ years of being a die hard fan!

Speaking of Abbey Road, the last 2 times I saw Paul he did the Golden Slumbers Medley as part of his encore. It was amazing!!!

"In My Life" is such an amazing song, it is something almost everyone can relate to, just beautiful.
The medleys on AR is one of the reason I love that album.

I'm glad you and your family are safe. I will continue to keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers.

I have been watching the news reports, I cannot imagine how hard it is for everyone. We are also part of tornado alley and over the years have seen devastation happen around us. So scary because there is nothing you can do about it. In August 2011 a F3 Tornado did so much damage in Goderich, just an hour from here. The scars are still viable and the rebuilding continues. It takes a long time to recover. The real challenge starts after the news crews leave.
You are right, we need to be grateful for what we have.

Congrats! It's been a tough round for the Pens. Needless to say, they haven't been playing Pens hockey. If they do move on, I don't think they will make it much further. I'm trying to be optimistic, but realistic too.

They barely made it through to the second round tonight, Fleury seems to really struggle in the playoffs the last few years.

I am playing Johnny Cash Christmas Yule Log DVD right now with all my windows opened up letting the sunshine and cool air in. The neighbors are probably wondering what is up with the Christmas tunes! :D

Just like George Broderick once said, "Do you only play love songs on Valentine's Day?" cheesy
