Here's something to give everybody above the Mason-Dixon a laugh...:lol:

That is a FACT! Last week when it got so cold, there was a run at Walmart. Everything was cleaned out. Like, even if we got some ice, it wouldn't be gone the next day. LOL

And if they even hint that there might be some snow, there will be 15 wrecks.

My sister is a transplanted northerner living in South Carolina, she use to call us when she moved down there and tell us about the crazy stuff she saw while driving in snow or ice.

Don't worry people panic up here when there is an impending storm, the way they are able to clear the roads so quickly it sort of boggles my mind that people panic as they do. They don't buy just the milk and eggs, and bread, they buy tons of steaks, ice cream, seafood and so on.

I am soooooo sick today. I'd like to be home in bed, but I'm behind in my work so I came in. I might as well have stayed home, as all I've done is cough, blow my nose, and stare at the computer screen. This is the third cold I've had since the new year (the fourth since just before Christmas), I just can't seem to keep away from them this year. Maybe I'll just call it a day and get out of here, as I'm not getting any work done anyway. Ugh!

" A WINTER STORM WITH HIGH SOCIETAL IMPACT IS IMMINENT ACROSS THE SOUTHERN TIER OF THE COUNTRY AND VERY LIKELY TO PROCEED UP THE EAST COAST ON WED AND THURS... ESSENTIALLY EXTENDING FROM THE LOWER MS VALLEY TO NEW ENGLAND OVER THE THREE DAY PERIOD.​

SYNOPSIS – With the start time of this event inside the 12-24 hour window, our Winter Stormcast Team has finalized accumulations.

Good afternoon, MMC!

Good news: I changed the cord on my phone line and haven't had any problems since so hopefully that was what was causing my disconnects. Yesterday I went down the basement stairs and back up them normally and there hasn't been any pain ~ my knee has finally healed! So glad for that as now I can get back to my favorite workout routines which I have not been able to do for months.

Praying that everyone in the path of the storms stays safe! Be MERRY, my dear friends!

So we're supposed to have several inches of snow on the ground by 9:00 a.m. It's going to turn to freezing rain at some point then back to heavy snow. Our school district called this evening to let us know we have a two hour delay tomorrow. They're insane. They better change the delay to a closing by tomorrow morning!

Good evening,

It was very busy at work tonight, but I am home so I can now forget about that place until Friday.

It is funny how I was talking about my older car this morning, I went to head to work and it is now dead. I had to call my wife and she came to pick me up, I dropped her and took the Equinox. We only live about 1/4 mile from where she works so we can survive on one car for a little while if the Saturn has really died. She tried to get it going when she got home, but there is no sign of life whatsoever. I will check the battery tomorrow or Friday, but the battery is barely a year old but with this freezing weather we have had I would not be surprised.
I am feeling yucky, I feel cold and cranky and I have had a pounding headache all day. It is about time to head to sleep, I hope I don't dream about the darn Saturn all night again. I wouldn't mind dreaming about the planet Saturn though. cheesy
