No, it isn't anything major.
It is something wrong with the Saturn Ion car as a whole, I've read up on it and it is something that happens where the car won't start on the first try, I usually have to wait ten minutes and try it again and it starts. Yesterday the second time it wouldn't start it took longer.
The car should have been recalled for that issue but never was.

We bought 2 Ions brand new 11 years ago, they both had that same issue a couple weeks after buying them.

I agree, it sounds like they should have been recalled from the get go!!

Our long range forecast is much colder, too, but there hasn't been mention of a PV2.

Well that's good!! I can stand cold. I can't stand PV cold!!

Good evening, Christmas family!

Long day of paperwork is over - yay! I had to sort through years of files and - I have a bag of paper that needs to be shredded. Now I have room to put some of the store files - it is good to be organized!!!

Palmer is waving at me (literally!) so I had best get going.

Be safe, my dear friends, and have MERRY dreams!!!

I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday when everyone was celebrating Elvis's birthday. Gloria Jean told us a personal story about Elvis Presley. She was working on a film at Paramount in 1961 at the same time Elvis was working on "Blue Hawaii." Gloria was having lunch with some other girls who were in the movie she was in, and Elvis came to their table and talked to Gloria. He said he wanted to do a film with her, because he thought their voices together would be dynamite. Meanwhile, the other girls at the table were just about going through the floor because Elvis was talking to Gloria! Gloria immediately told her agent about the conversation, but the agent never followed up on it---he should have had photos taken or talked up a film project with Elvis's people, but he just let it drop.

Michael Jackson was a fan of Gloria's, too. He once sent her a fan letter, hand-delivered by a courier, asking for an autographed photo.

Thanks for sharing, that is really cool she and Elvis had a little chat. It's too bad they didn't do a movie together.

Goodnight, Meceka!!! Hope you and Palmer have a good evening!!!

Forgot to mention that I didn't see any Northern Lights last night. We had some clouds, and due to the houses in our neighborhood, I couldn't see the horizon (if they showed up, they would have been low in the sky). Oh, well.

I didn't see them either, but I read there is a chance at seeing them again tonight.

Hey festive! I wish I would've stopped at one polar vortex last night too- that Carl mixes them strong! And I had to be up so early this morning.

It was still -19 overnight, but could possible reach 10 degrees today. Hope so!

Glad you stayed dry this morning.
Enjoy some down time & relaxation, my friend!!

Seriously, folks, you cannot just make up this stuff... here's a clip from a news article from Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin:

"This really shouldn't be a shock to anyone, but for the record, let's just say it's usually a pretty bad idea to set a charcoal fire under your car. A Wisconsin woman did just that, and set her 2007 Dodge Caravan on fire. Even better, she lives in an area named after a burning torch!

The Lac du Flambeau woman was trying to start her minivan in some really awful temperatures, around -23°F, and after removing her battery and warming it indoors (smart), she decided to warm the engine block with a charcoal fire (not smart).

The inevitable fire started with the underside of the bumper, and quickly spread to all the deliciously flammable bits of rubber under the hood and around the engine bay...."

This is, what we call, a "Carbecue"....!

Snowflake, was this you????

Ooooops!

Thanks, sugar!

I plan to rest a bit =] Can barely keep my eyes open. I also have a headache, so I think a nap is just what I need!

Hope you're having a nice afternoon!

I hope your headache disappeared.

Warming up to the teens today with ice on the way - yuck! Stay safe and enjoy your day!!!

Good luck to your daughter on her new job! I love the Aldi store - shop there a lot. So glad it is warming up out your way. I hope you have had a wonderful day, too!

I'm sorry you didn't see any, Merry! I checked the sky at midnight and then again at 2:30 am and I didn't see any, either.

Hi, Frosty - I hope it doesn't get as cold for you as it did over here! Stay warm!

Sorry to hear you didn't see any either!!!

For those that know me well will probably faint when you hear what I am about to say.... Starting Saturday and for the rest of next week will be in the upper 60's to 70's and I am looking forward to it! That's a shocker, isn't it? I always want freezing weather! I think it's because we have actually had some really cold days that stuck around for a long time with some icy weather. I am not ready for winter to come to an end yet but just looking forward to a few warm days then I want it to get icy cold again!

We plan to take our bikes out to the lake as soon as it gets warm. We are also going to become members of the Dallas Arboretum which is located on the lake and will be nice to walk around there while it's warm. We visit there often since we live very close by to stroll the garden or see concerts. We were just there during the Christmas holidays but decided to join since they built a children's garden. I was way more impressed with it than I thought I would be. We ventured through there for over 2 hours and still didn't see everything and that was just the children's section! I am looking forward to going back with the kids!

This is from the internet but we have seen it a few times and it is amazing. Every fall they have this really nice pumpkin village. They fix the place up for Christmas as well. The membership is good for a year so we will have unlimited access to see everything they have each season.

That is so cool!!!
