Good evening, Christmas family!

Rain has made more than half of the snow that fell here disappear/pack down and my driveway is an icy mess. The good news is that all the cats are accounted for as Lucy Fur showed up today. She was so happy to be back she was even hugging Le Pew and they usually do not get along. All in all, not a bad day!

That is wonderful that all of the fur kids are accounted for. They all sound so sweet, love their names!

Concrete has been poured and has cured. Hubby has put down the floor on the part that we had to take up to pour more concrete. He has been working so hard. I don't know how he does it! Just looking at the foundation makes me realize how big it is going to be. I am getting more and more excited! Cooking, on the other hand is the pits! So we go out a lot. Hopefully all our $$ won't have to be spent on restaurants, LOL! That would be defeating the whole purpose.

I'm happy everything is going well, that is so exciting!

It's all around his side. I asked the same thing. He said it started right after he popped his back at a convenience store. LOL He was a massage therapist and worked with chiropractors so he knows the correct way to do some self work when needed after training. He had been doing heavy weight training earlier in the day, popped his back to loosen up and then the pain started.

I suggested could also be costachondral bruising from the lift that he really felt after the stretch. He seems to be much better today but still tender in the rib region.

So we're rolling on to Abilene.

I hope Bud feels better!

Snow-in-Texas and I took the bikes to the lake today. It's sunny and the lake was busy! We took a break and when I looked up at a row of trees I noticed one had Christmas ornaments on it. Not many on there but enough to give me a smile. I wonder who put them there, no other tree had them.

I love it!

I had mentioned that I bought 5 boxes (24 count) of K-Cups at Office Depot for $3.49 and $3.94 per box the other day. I had wished I bought more and someone here suggested I go back and get more. I just knew they would be gone because that was 2 days ago. I took a chance and there was still some for sale! I bought 4 more boxes.

These boxes usually sell for almost 15 bucks a box. I got 9 boxes which has a total of 216 cups of coffee for around 35 bucks. That is about 15 cent per cup! I love getting a good deal!

Anyone want to come over for a cup? Hurry! Binger is on their way and will have it all drank up!!!

Well gmorn/ evening all. Its 9am here, I've written up my fortnightly menu and grocery list. Now I'm cooling off in the pool before we go grocery shopping. I'll keep my eyes open for some chrissy bargains!!!

It turned out not so good. The projector ran great through a couple of short reels, then the sound went sour and it started running rough. I was afraid it would stretch or tear the sprocket holes on the film, so we stopped it. It'll have to go back to the repair guy. Happily, he guarantees his work for a year. But it broke up our movie night. Poor Mr. It's really a job to pack up one of those things for shipping---it weighs over 30 pounds.

We have plenty of video to look at, or Mr. can dig out one of the other projectors and set it up. Disappointing, though.

Good afternoon everyone! I am just getting in from a day on the slopes. It has been a great one you could not ask for better weather. Snow still falling for the 4th day in a row. In all 4 days at my house we have received about a foot. I am sure at the higher elevations at the ski slopes they have received more. After today it dries out though and gets colder. Lows in the single digits and highs around 20F. Still normal for dead of winter. It's still hard to believe we are in the middle of January. This morning when I woke up I still had to slap myself because I still feel like it should be the holidays. This year they just went by way too fast. I mean they do every year but this year was like I went to sleep and dreamed about Christmas and woke up and it was January.

Oh well not much else planned this weekend. We are having family movie night tonight. We are going to watch polar express. I think when the boys get a little older Saturday night movie night will get a little better.Not that they are not fun now because I look forward to them all week. but it's hard to keep their attention unless its a cartoon or home alone.I love home alone but it's getting where we are watching that one almost every Saturday night now.lol well I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Talk to yall tomorrow. Gnight!
