LOL!! Pizza is my favorite!

I like bacon, but I LOVE pizza!

Culver's is a chain that started here in WI, known for their butter burgers & custard- delicious!!

http://www.culvers.com/

There are Culver's around here, too. I went out to dinner at Applebee's with friends and we stopped at one for dessert - not bad!

Thanks, there still in bed, but it seems like it is going to be one of those colds that last a little while. It is a hacking kind of cough. Littler kids usually take longer to get better, but as long as they aren't miserable, I am happy for them.

I hope they are feeling better today.

Good morning, everyone! Hope you all have a good day! I'm just getting caught up on the boards, drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet - knowing that won't last too much longer!

What does everyone have planned for today? DH and I plan to do some things around the house today, then this afternoon, we're taking EA to see The Fresh Beat Band. It's a show on Nick Jr. These kids are teenagers, but they are directed at younger kids and they sing, dance, and teach the kids many things. EA and DS both love them, but we figured it may be a little to old for DS to go to, being it's sort of like a concert. I may get there and be wrong, but it will give us something to just do with her. She's very excited!

I am off to make another cup of coffee and read the rest of the boards. Make it a great Sunday! I have tonight off as well, which I am so thankful for. God Bless and keep smiling! :)

My boys use to watch them, how could anyone forget the annoying Bananas song. cheesy

That burger looks incredible!!!
The closest one to me is in Roseville, Michigan. I guess I'll have to go there whenever we make it out to Bronner's. cheesy

There is a Culver's approximately 7 - 8 miles from Bronner's.

anyone know where my medium size leaf cutter is? I have cleaned out a cupboard and 3 drawers looking for it. I also got rid of a bunch of junk that I do not know why I was hanging on to !

You'll find it in the last place you look. cheesy

That would be fun. Right now, I have a ham hock and bits of ham simmering in chicken broth for navy beans. We go out for dinner a lot because of having no kitchen, but we wanted to be home to watch the ball games today. We could have everyone bring his or her signature dish! I think that would be the world's best potluck!

You can come visit her in Pa anytime - we don't always have snow, but we do right now! I am always up for visitors! Between you and me, we could also cook/bake up some great things!!! :)

Thanks, Meceka. How was your Christmas? How's Palmer? I wish, that when we get to meet one day that all of us could bring our pets. I think I would fall in love with Palmer right away, LOL!

You're welcome, Seawaters! My Christmas was very nice! How was yours? Palmer is doing good - thank you for asking! She is currently running amok in the house and every now and then she jumps up a wall - very hyper cat! cheesy

First, let me say I hope this finds everyone doing well. It has been so hectic here that there has been little time to slow down. But it's a good busy and I'm thankful that I have been.

I've got a confession to make and I hope you all don't think I'm being self-centered. I have not been reading everyone's posts. With a little one in the house, time is such as precious commodity that when I get it, I'm usually picking up, working, cleaning, cooking, etc. I've just been doing a lot of spot reading and it probably going to be that way most of the time. I say that because I don't know what's going on in everyone's life and I don't want to come across as a self-centered jerk.

I have no intentions of not coming here, but I've got to keep the main thing the main thing. Right now, the Little Bambina is the main thing. I know, I know, I didn't have to put this and I'm not trying to draw attention to myself, but I just want everyone to know why there hasn't been as much of me around.

Today, we are going to our first little birthday party. I'm really excited about it. I got the little girl a glove! Hey, we gotta start exposing the Little Bambina's teammates to the sport. We can't wait 6 or 7 years! Kidding...not about getting her the glove though!

After that, it's home to make some cheese dip and watch the games. I'm really excited about the Patriots and Broncos game...I played QB and I love the position. That is the position I coached when I was coaching, also. Those two are the ones you want to be like. Fundamentals are awesome, leadership, and determination to win like no other....

Anyways, I'm off. I will check back in this afternoon during the games. Good luck to the fans of all the teams...

Sending my best for you to feel better soon. :]

Hope you feel better today. Being ill is the worst thing ever!

Good late morning everyone and happy Sunday!

A happy Sunday to you, Victoria!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend... I have been rather busy taking down my xmas decorations. I found out Friday for sure that I will be deployed to Korea for 9 months I have been there before back in 94 and 95 when I was just a senior Airman so I know what to expect I will still be able to be in contact here, and I should be home by Christmas 2014!

God bless you, Neal! Praying for a safe deployment for you, that you will be home by Christmas of this year and also for your family while you are away. So glad you will be able to stay in touch!

It is hard on everyone when a family member is deployed, but, believe it or not, it can also be an exciting time. When my (ex) husband would go overseas, I used my time to plan surprises for him when he returned. For example, I crocheted a long open weave skirt to wear for him, planned menus with his favorite foods for the days after his return, set up hair and nail appointments for the day just before he returned, planned play dates with the kids, set up some quiet time for myself to read and do some Bible study to pray for him and all his friends serving with him, tried out new recipes to see if they would be something he might enjoy, took lots of pictures of the kids, wrote lots of letters (at least every day), etc. This really helped to pass the time and to concentrate on something positive as we waited for his return. Nowadays, with Skype and other services, deployment might be easier to stay in touch, not quite, by maybe. I have to tell you, though, that my ex really surprised me by coming home a day earlier that he said was his return date. Imagine my surprise when he showed up on the porch about 3:00 a.m.!

Good afternoon,

Still feeling pretty yucky, just relaxing watching the Bruins vs Blackhawks game. Just like last springs Stanley Cup Final, it has been an exciting game. I plan on taking it easy today, I will go through the ads in the Sunday paper, but it is not the same without the Christmas ads. But they will start advertising for Christmas decorations in the coupon sections or Parade magazine soon. A number of years ago I ordered a Santa Claus from Thomas Kinkade in January of 2004 I believe.

I think I may go take a nap soon.

Talk to you throughout the day.

Still not feeling great but I slept better so that was good.
The veterinarian prescribed cough medicine for Maggie and I think it helped her last night. She wasn't up as much. I hate that I'm giving her all of this medicine but we're trying to figure out what's going to help her, it's trial and error at this point.
Thank you for asking!

I'm glad you slept better. Praying that you are better soon and that the right combination of meds will be found to help Maggie! How are Molly and Bentley? Have a MERRY Sunday!

No need to apologize 'Coach, we all understand. Bambina definitely comes first, and you need to enjoy this time because they grow up way too fast. I spend most of my time on here after my kids go to bed, and my wife is reading or on the phone.

Enjoy the games and the birthday party.
