Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good Morning MMC!!!!! Well the temp didn't fall as fast as they said they would. We are still holding at 3 degree's instead of the -10 they were predicting by this time. I think the fact that we made it all the way up to 44 last night instead of the 36 they were predicting helped out in that department. The wind chill is -20 though so it's still frigid out there. Not to much on my agenda for today. I have a lot of dishes to do and then I have to figure out something for dinner. I'm hoping the mail lady will bring the Josh Groban Noel cd that I ordered so I can listen to it while doing the dishes. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

My brother and I spent yesterday afternoon working on his new house. he bought the house and property adjacent to our mom's house, and he'll be moving in soon. I'm looking forward to having him near mom, since she lives out in the sticks. I don't like her being alone way out there, and now she won't be.

It's gonna snow here tomorrow night, they are saying maybe a few inches! Elizabeth is so excited!

my stomach has not felt good for two days now. Someone suggested thin slicing tablespoon worth of fresh ginger and putting it in a small bottle or can of ginger ale. Let it sit for about 1/2 hour then strain and drink. It works great, mine is settling good now.
Hope all in your house feel better soon.

It took a half hour longer to catch up on here than I figured it would. cheesy

Cold and sunny out so I am going to spend the day home, baking and cleaning items I want to put in the store. Time permitting I will work on the afghan for my niece ~ I'm up to the part where the rounds take a long time to do. Getting close to finishing! Need to do some reading, too, as I am involved in a read-a-thon. It is for fun and to make headway on to-be-read piles.

Good afternoon, everyone!

Stopping in for a quick hello. I wish I were at work, but the students have exams this week. As a supply teacher that just means I will get much - if not all - of the week off. A little disappointing because I need the money.

Great to see the countdown continuing to roll on. We're nearing the end of January but winter here is (obviously) still in full swing. In one month, I think, it will be a little different. Things usually start to change at the end of February. No complaints here though. I will continue to enjoy the winter.

Well, I have a few things to do. Kim is off on Mondays right now, too. So we're just hanging in and doing a few things around the house. I hope you all have a great day! Remember, Christmas is less than 11 months away!

:cold:Good morning/afternoon everyone...hope yeah all are having a good day so far...my girls are 3yrs old today...had the day off work today..we had the family over this afternoon to celebrate there birthday...Its gale force winds here again today 70-80mph winds and its mighty chilly too..brrrrrrrr!!...well better go and start cooking dinner..i"m starving....tonite its lasagna and garlic bread...yummy!!!..have a great day guys..:cold:
