Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be 70 here today!! I already have the windows open and the apartment airing out. I'm also paying for it though. The pollen count today is a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 according to the news and I can verify that!! I'm trying out some different allergy meds though so hopefully they will kick in soon. My goal for today is to make out a menu for easter. I'm going to search for some new recipes to try out that look like they may work for Christmas too. Then maybe I will squeeze in a nap later. I really need to start working on going to bed before 4am and then getting up at 8:30. LOL!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jayish is posting on FB that he is upset he too did not get the job. So I did some checking with very close sources at CBS and found this out...

Bottom line, due to Jayish and Binger's association with the Pines and a certain camel who will remain nameless, CBS just couldn't hire them. Too many stories floating around about what goes on at our favorite retreat. CBS execs know that if pictures or video was ever released it could be a major scandal and they just don't need that kind of heat!

Not to mention that sooner or later Carl would crash the set and walk in front of the camera saying "Whoo Hoo! Guess what day it is!"

Got what we needed and also had time to visit the Fort Gratiot lighthouse. This is the oldest operating lighthouse on the USA side of the Great Lakes .

I can say that I am lucky to have in-laws that I love. I never liked calling them "ex" in-laws but wanted to describe who they were to you all. They are my FAMILY!!! I have been close to them all since I was a teenager.

When that village is set up I will get some pictures!

Homemakingirl, I have been "posting and running" the past couple of days and want to know how little Maggie is doing? Not sure if there is any updates and I missed them.

I am in shock right now! We just had a visit from my ex husband (father to both my grown children) and ex mother-in-law. That is probably stirring up bad images but not to worry! We are all still very good friends!

My ex mother-in-law has a beautiful Christmas village that she use to set up every year but hasn't bothered with it in the past few Christmases. Very huge set up with mechanical parts, working fountains and waterfalls. She said she is giving the whole thing to me! She has 4 grown kids, numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren but she wants me to have it!!! She knows how much I love Christmas and said I am the one who will get it because she knows how much I will cherish it! It will not be a conflict with anyone, they don't mind me having it either. It will stay in the family and eventually her great grandchildren will inherit it.

I am so touched by this gesture. It has made my day!

Now I have to figure out where am I going to set all this up at??? I have a large collection already. I will come up with something!

That is wonderful and very thoughtful of her!

This is wonderful! She knew what she was doing when she chose you to be the curator of the collection. Will you integrate it with your own collection, or set it up separately, do you think? Definitely we will want to see pictures!

I plan to mix it up with mine. I just hope I have room for it all! I don't have any room for mine so I need to somehow make room to put all of it out. She told me she has tables that she will give me that she used for her village so that will help!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is the first showing of "The Music Man", and Elizabeth is so excited! She was still awake when I went to bed last night, and she was up before I left for work this morning. I hope she's not too tired tonight!

We're going tonight, but Friday night sold out before we could buy tickets. Then we're going Saturday night and Sunday evening. It's been a long few months of preparation, but it should be a great show.

Now Nancy is on me about making vacation plans. I just want to go to the mountains and relax for 7 or 10 days, but I don't think that is in the cards for me.

Does anyone have any experience on Sanibel Island, FL? Good grief.

Hello everyone!

Got a phone call from my mum this morning saying a delivery company picked up the parcel for me. There are more books coming my way, and much more chocolate! My friends will obviously be very happy about that while for me, it means a funeral to my diet.

Ahhhhh, good morning! It's been a little while since I was able to sleep for 12 hours.....Coffee - Yesssssss!!!!!

Wow! It feels soooooo weird right now, I sort of feel, like I'm forgetting to do something or like, there is something is out of place; kind of feeling; Oh yes, I'm not working.... And I like it!!!!!

I'm going to spend all day doing ------nothing! Except for whatever I decide to do, by choice! Yes!!!!!

You know something, today is the first time that I have awaken and there was sunlight streaming in thru the windows.. Usually, I get up in the morning, it's dark outside, I get home in the morning, it's dark outside; go! fiqure....LOL!

Well, I'm going to make a big breakfast, enjoy my coffee and then wait for the boy to get home this morning. He has just called me and was asking, "Dad, can help me get my taxes done"! I like, your kidding me right; it's like the 11th hour before a due date and your just starting them now???? Kids, even when their 21, they still act like little kids...helpless! Ok, change of plans, breakfast then help him get his taxes done.....fun-fun!

Oh by the way, he's leaving for Texas again for 10 weeks of specialty schooling in the Air Force, he leaves this coming Tuesday morning....So, needless to say, I want to hang with him for a little while; he's my boy.....

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is having a good day! I am just popping in very quickly. We have been busy. This morning we went to the park and when we got home the children helped me with a few house chores.

We have been playing some board games and I think we will watch a film in a bit. I have not been able to do much work today but that's ok , I am just happy that my children want to spend time with me and I am grateful that I can be here for them when they need me. I am blessed. I will catch up with work at some point At least they have been helping with the house work LOL !

I am looking forward to some TV tonight and a little down time after our day!

Good morning!
It was just about 30 degrees when I woke up this morning but it is supposed to climb in to the lower 50's. And thankfully the sun is shining.
Not too much going on for me today. I think I'm going to go for a walk after I finish my cup of coffee and get it over with. Then I have some chores to do around the house. And I may take a ride to the mall later this afternoon. I need to pick up a couple of things for myself and I have a few coupons so I might as well use them.
