Omggggg. The pines will close for two weeks to clean up that mess from last night ... Who started the pie fight ? I mean... Really? Apple chunks in the hot tub?

I hope those are apple chunks, Carl was really going to town on those chocolate camels he was supposed to be handing out. I never got mine, he said he ran out before I got there, as he was wiping his mouth of the evidence. cheesy

Good morning!
It is going to be another chilly day with temperatures in the lower 40's. At least the sun will be out.
I'm heading out soon, I need run to Rite Aid for a few things. I also have an appointment to have my hair cut and colored later this morning, my Easter maintenance! Back home after that to catch up with my daily chores. And I'm going to take a walk later this afternoon. If it feels too chilly outside I will just go on the treadmill. I got on the scale this morning and I've lost 5 pounds so far. I have been trying really hard to eat healthier and make better choices and it's working!

Procrastinating? We haven't even decided where we are having easter or what anyone's making!!! I just know that I will have to bring macaroni salad so I'm getting my eggs boiled and celery and onion chopped up for it today. My sister said we would figure out the rest tomorrow night when we celebrate my niece's birthday.

Hope Charlie and Gracie have fun together!!!!

I don't want to see any more eggs after the easter egg hunt last week but I'm sure I will have to make some up and hide them for my niece's on sunday.

Made, you are more than welcome to come here for Easter dinner to escape the procrastination. We are having turkey, and a New York Strip roast, and all the fixings. We will have plenty of food, we are BIG believers in leftovers. cheesy

I went back to bed after I dropped the boys off for school. I stayed in bed waaaay to long after that. I have been running around trying to get everything done. I did get the floors scrubbed, so wifey will be happy, need all these brownie points I can get with the Stanley Cup playoffs starting up, I am hoping for 2 more months of Bruins hockey. cheesy One of the things I wanted to do was to run to the mall to get a new Bruins hat, I haven't got a new one since 2011, so it is time to get a new one. I was too lazy to get off my duff and had to scrap that thought.

My wife's grandpa passed yesterday so we are busy with funeral preparations. It will be tomorrow at 2:00. Thank you all for the prayers.

Good afternoon MMC! What a beautiful "Friday"!! I have so much to do to get ready for Easter yet. What was I thinking, slacking off on Monday/Tuesday! I should have done all the cleaning when the weather was cold/yucky!!! Now it's gorgeous & I get to spend my day off prepping. Ah well!!! There is a chance of rain tomorrow. I never even gave it a thought until last night, but if I had everything done, I could have stayed at the lake tonight & hung out there all day tomorrow! Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda! :smile: I am planning to do some of the cooking for Easter at the lake. After work I am going to pick up Charlie (nieces golden doodle pup) & he is coming over for a play date with Gracie. Should be interesting!!! :lol:
Last night I picked up some plastic eggs to fill with candy/change, & I bought an egg dying kit - thinking I would hide eggs in the yard for the 5 little ones. Also bought some sidewalk chalk. Then I found out today the 2 oldest of them aren't going to be there - they are going to the other side of the family, further away! What a bummer! Oh well, the other 3 will have fun, I hope!

Chilly yesterday and it feels like we have taken a step back into March -- EARLY March. At least it was sunny but that didn't seem to help much.
A repeat today is predicted and we have started out at 34 degrees here this morning.
Please return, warm weather. I'll never complain about you again.
