Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a cooler rainy day here in central Indy with a high around 64. Not a whole lot on the agenda for today. Just my normal chores and then mom has a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Besides that, I'm going to try and catch a Christmas movie or something to help brighten this dreary day. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Good Wednesday (Pinesday!) morning, my Christmas friends!

We had Honors Day ceremonies last night, and the kids received several awards. They were so proud of themselves, and so was I! The teacher (Susan) who did most of the speaking is actually a girl I graduated HS with, and she was telling the parents that they should feel free to come down front to take pictures when their kids' names are called. When they called Elizabeth, Nancy said "Go get the picture!" So I stood up and took a step forward, then she said "Never mind, don't go!", so I squatted down...but it was too late. Susan called out "Come on down, Brad!" I said something stupid (in front of all those people!) like, "Nancy made me do it!" Susan said, "yeah, it's always the woman's fault, eh?" It got a big laugh. I was red all over...LOL.

Guitar lessons and ballet lessons this afternoon. Always something.

Good morning!
It's going to be mostly cloudy today with temperatures in the lower 60's.
Typical day for me. I have some chores to do around the house and then I'll be heading out to run a couple of errands, including a trip to Target. My youngest also has a dentist appointment later this afternoon, just a routine cleaning. And If I have time I would like to take a ride to Hallmark to look for invitations for my daughters graduation party. Not too much else going on.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Doing the usual don't want to go to work Wednesday stuff, especially since it is Game 7 for the Bruins tonight. I will pretty much miss the whole game, I may catch the very end if it doesn't go to OT.

Not much else going on around here today, just biding my time until it's time to head in.

Thanks for posting...I LOVE Hallmark movies and my 8 y/o daughter loves them too so I have a little partner in crime to watch them with and eat popcorn!

I have a 4 1/2 and a 2 1/2. They love them too! I think they're going to be Christmas crazy just like me.

Good rainy morning! Happy Hump Day!!!! It seems like just yesterday I was posting a Happy Hump/Pines day....the last week FLEW!!!! I'm not sure I'll ever get caught up. I'm feeling out of the loop! :lol:

Yesterday I left work about an hour early & went with hubby to do some loafing. We had the convertible = nice! Finally! We stopped at Kroger to look at their patio furniture. Then on to the furniture store b/c we needed new plates for the patio furniture we bought from them a long time ago…but while there we also looked at their patio furniture (EXPENSIVE) & I’m looking for a small table for the tv room. Struck out there too. Since they had plates to fix our current patio chairs we are hoping this set lasts another year & by next year our patio/addition should be complete & we can buy new then! We also stopped at Walmart to buy a fireproof safe for our nephew for graduation & then to Menards to look at a few kitchen things. Then we ate Mexican… LOL! It was a fun little trip! Got home & walked 4 1/2 miles w/ my neighbor. Got home just in time b/f it started POURING! It was nice to have the hubby around more this week, but he want back to work today after throwing his back out Friday, so hopefully that is going ok!!

AND now I'm off to see how many posts I can read before heading to lunch. Hope you are all having a great day. Can't wait to see you all at the Pines tonight!!!!

Hi everyone......

Kandice´s school was closed today, because some meeting of teachers of several schools......of course....no need to say that the little squirrel was mighty exited....hahaha

I think my cold has gotten slightly better........I´ve been inhaling wick´s vapor type of stuff....drinking a lot....and haven´t smoked since last Friday.....I actually suspect when the time since I smoked gets bigger....everything will get better.......stupid me.....of course I know it´s unhealthy....but You kinda put it in the back of Your head......I can quit if I want to....of I can quit in a few years.....lol....I hope I will have the strenght to do it this time.....for good!!!

I have been here on and off today, just now actually got a chance to reply.
I have been out shopping, having a visit with a friend and cleaning up around here.

Will be making a stir fry for dinner. We are trying to get more plant based foods in our diet and eliminate more of those processed foods. So tonight will be a chicken stir fry with lots of vegies. Cantaloupe for dessert.

Excellent that you are eliminating processed food! I'm doing the same thing.

I finally laid down around 1 and took an 1 1/2 nap, now I'm sitting outside with the kids, and they're playing. We're getting ready to take them on a walk and let them ride their bikes a little. I think after that, we're going to grab dinner somewhere and get some ice cream.

I just love having the AC on, closing the blinds, and feeling like it is really Christmastime, when in reality, it's HOT outside.

Oh, I am sorry it makes you feel sad. I suppose it does for a lot of folks because most love the sun out until late. I am just really weird but when it gets dark at 6:00 pm, I love it!!! I know, it sounds crazy, doesn't it???

I feel comfortable up to 85 degrees (somewhat) after that, not so much. We have already hit the 90's! Depending on the winds the lower 90's are not too bad. I just wish it would stay below that temp.

I have been here on and off today, just now actually got a chance to reply.
I have been out shopping, having a visit with a friend and cleaning up around here.

Will be making a stir fry for dinner. We are trying to get more plant based foods in our diet and eliminate more of those processed foods. So tonight will be a chicken stir fry with lots of vegies. Cantaloupe for dessert.

I have been eating like that for a few years. It's easy once you get into the habit. Don't get me wrong, I do eat a little processed stuff from time to time but majority of the time I eat very well. Good luck to you! If you ever have any questions about healthy eating let me know! I am not an expert but I study a lot on the subject.

By the way, I still love talking about all the holiday goodies on here! I just can't eat most of it! (food allergies and food intolerance)

I forgot to mention but I had another holiday type dream last night and you all were involved! A Christmas one a couple of nights ago, last night about Halloween! I dreamed that all of us here on MMC were setting up a Haunted House. I don't remember all the details but sounds like a plan to me. Are you all up to it? :lol:

In other news, today we went to the Arboretum and I just didn't feel too well the whole time we were there. I think I am coming down with a cold! My dad just got over his so I hope I didn't catch it. I have been laying in bed since I got home. Maybe a good nights sleep will make me feel better!
