Christmas Countdown - 2014

Oh I know, I really starting to get stoked about we are at the threshold of the halfway point till Christmas. Soon we will start seeing the bikinis with the half price stickers on them and the winter clothes starting to fill the racks in July; LOL!!!!!! (a little sarcasm)~

With this being our new home, and I'm tearing out the electrical in the basement, I'm starting to think ahead about running new dedicated 20 amp circuits from the panel to outdoor outlets for Christmas and Halloween light. It's never to early to start planning ahead!!!!!:lol:

Do it!!!!! It will make life so much easier and it won't add that much cost at this point!!!!!

To me, the build up is a lot more exciting than the actual day!!!!!

wow, had it ever been crazy busy at the store all week ! Today was no exception. It does make the day go by really fast which is nice.
We had a nice BBQ dinner of ribs and chicken with watermelon for desert.
Now I am getting things cleaned up and figuring out what to put in my lunch for tomorrow.
ow! I just got bit by a mosquito! Should not have had the back door open !

oh I almost forgot to tell you, Santa came through my till today!!!!!

Well he looked like him and he used to be a mall Santa, and he had a great smile. It was nice to see him !

Aww, June 1st. That can only mean one thing. Time to start scoping out Hobby Lobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Christmas craft kits should start coming out now and then the decor items in July!!!!!!

Wow!!!! I just went out to sit on the porch for awhile and the heavens opened up on me!!!! The radar showed it all staying way south of us.

I think Snowflake sent it my way so she could go enjoy a walk!!!!

We were almost at church when Elizabeth said she felt really bad. So we turned around and brought her home. She lying down right now. I hope she feels better!

I will miss my parents! Since they are both retired now it will be the first time that they'll be able to stay in PA for a long amount of time. I wish I could just pick up and go visit them but its hard to do with the animals.
My daughter is still sleeping! I'm praying she feels better. It is a bummer, especially since she had off today and its gorgeous out!
For my sauce I use a couple of cans of crushed tomatoes, a couple of purée and also tomato paste. I throw in meatballs and Italian sausage and let it simmer all day. Easy peasy and always so good!

Strong thunderstorms have been reported near Beech Grove or 9 miles southeast of Indianapolis moving northeast at 25mph.
