Got the mowing done a little while ago. Wayne had told me he would do it before work. I told him NO! He is already putting in plenty of hours at work and I am not babysitting the grandkids today so I got it done.

The not so good news - I am feeling awful right now and sick to my stomach. I think I might lay down for a bit and hopefully will feel better in a little while.

Pumpkin Spice is my favorite. It certainly reminds me of fall!

I know you were thinking of me when you posted this!!!!

When I first heard of the Pumpkin Spice Latte I thought of it as just being a fad and not all that tasty. It only took one and I am hooked!!! I have tried it as a Frappicino a couple of times and I personally don't think it taste good but as a hot latte - super yummy! My favorite frappe is Java Chip!

I am off to do some menu planning. We are so limited in what I can fix. We have no oven (except for a dinky toaster oven), so I have to "bake" in batches!

Please keep my son Joshua in your prayers. He just called and the doctor is admitting him today because of lesions on his liver that they think have metastasized, some of them quite large. You might recall that he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2007 and has been cancer-free since all his treatments then.

Never really slept longer than 45 minutes at a time. Just couldn't get comfortable.

It's not sounding good. He hasn't started grouting yet & he said the grout really needs to be good 'n dry before they put the cabinets on it. Soooo- l looks like next week. But that's ok.

I let Gracie out at lunch & she got hugs - even though she got ahold of Jims shoe & chewed it up!!! Little booger! Guess she didn't want to be left at the lake!

Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight!

I really sympathize, Holiday! In between all our construction, our washer went out and the repairman doesn't have the part yet! Ugh!

Sorry to hear about your washer on top of everything else! Hope the part comes in soon. I might have to go to Mom & Dads (or the laundry mat) tonight or tomorrow to do some laundry. :-?

Some of us are meeting up next summer at Made's place in Indiana!!!

Between Snowflake's skillet and Hubby's sledgehammer, I think I am all set, lol!

Come over tonight about 6 p.m. for leftover pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, applewood bacon baked beans, chips, and pickles. Tomorrow night is Taco Salad Pie--yummo!

I am amazed at the misuse of "your" on Facebook. It drives me up the wall! I also saw a post on FB that stated, "I am silently correcting your grammar in my mind." Had to laugh at that one!

I don't think many people on FB know how to use "you're."

LOL! Yep! I always catch those too! At my nieces wedding her friend made the signs (very talented) but she had on one of the signs "Thanks for the gift of you're presence" - my sisters all wanted to change it - my niece didn't even notice. Seriously??? LOL!

Thanks, Holiday. I would love to be in by Thanksgiving. We went to the appliance store to measure the Wolf stove so Hubby can get the wiring done. He has put in two of the windows, 20 canned lights, wiring for the pendulum lights, and has been getting the French door and the other doors ready for painting. He has three more windows (two are fairly large) to put in. The kitchen/den will be a little over 900 square feet.

WOW! That's a lot of wiring / can lights! And nice sized rooms! You are going to love it! I was amazed at how much our 6 can lights & 3 pendant lights lit up the room! Hope it all goes well! Nice that your hubby can do all that. Thankfully we have an electrician friend who did all of ours!

You are so sweet, Holiday. Trust me, prayers a ALWAYS welcome!!!
