Woke up to frost this morning. It was great but like I said yesterday, the forecast is for warmer weather this weekend and into next week. Sure hope the long range forecast is correct and we have a colder than normal winter. So far this fall has been much too warm.

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!

My mom and I have went to the Arboretum the past 2 days to take a walk. They are setting up their Christmas display of the 12 Day of Christmas and live Christmas trees are popping up all over. Right now we see a mix of pumpkins set up all over with a mix of Christmas. I love it!

This weekends high temp will be 88 degrees. Then a cool down for the week ahead.

Hello Christmas buddies! I am on a quick dinner break at work. The weather seems to be turning a corner, and the rest of the leaves in my backyard that were still on the sugar mables have some off with some windy gusts so I can already see myself and brandi raking, raking and more raking this weekend! I love Autumn and Spring yard work! The actual temps themselves are still mild and sunny during the day with temps today struggling to get out of the 50's and tonight we are suppose to have a low of around 42F, I think it gets up into the 70's this weekend and 30's and light frost at nights next week! I will take that at Halloween! I hope everyone has a great night and hope we all make it through the rest of this work week!!!! TTYL!

Sounds like perfect weather for the season! Would gladly trade ya weather! (but not the raking part :lol I gave up raking this year, I just chop the leaves up with the mulching mower and consider it done.

He was full of gas, watch him guzzle Coca Cola from earlier in the day.

Hope everyone is doing great and in great spirits!

I am in a great mood today, one day closer to the holiday season! Weather is decent for late October here so I am going to take advantage of it and get a few of the last fall jobs that need done, putting in storm windows, taking the AC unit out of the bedroom, and weather stripping basement windows.
After another cup or two of coffee I will get on that!

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!

My mom and I have went to the Arboretum the past 2 days to take a walk. They are setting up their Christmas display of the 12 Day of Christmas and live Christmas trees are popping up all over. Right now we see a mix of pumpkins set up all over with a mix of Christmas. I love it!

This weekends high temp will be 88 degrees. Then a cool down for the week ahead.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! As I mentioned above, we had frost this morning. Crazy!! I walked with my friend & it was foggy. An hour later, we had frost!!! Now the sun is shining ~ burned off all that fog! It must be fall in Ohio!!

Last night was a pretty uneventful. Hubby was working at the farm, shelling corn. I had soup in the crock pot & I made some homemade bread (which was delicious by the way!) Our electrician friend came over to do a little work ~ he ate half the bread. Ha ha! I sent some home with him! Tonight we have the 1st stitch & _itch of the season at our friends house! Should be fun! I need to get working on this afghan!! That's about it!

Here are a few pictures I took the past couple of days at the Arboretum. In the first picture I like the way they lined up white pumpkins along the little stream. You can see the birdies bathing in the stream.

The next 2 pictures are the gazebos they are setting up all over the Arboretum featuring the 12 Days of Christmas. Everyone one of them will be animated and lit up. You can see the live Christmas trees they have planted in the last picture posted. There are live Christmas trees in the first picture too but kind of hard to see.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I have some catching up to do (or, rather, some getting ahead to do) here at work so I can take the day off tomorrow. Nancy and I are heading up to Mgramsey's neck of the woods to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I know none of you have heard me bragging about our upcoming trip LOL.

Lulu is at the groomer this morning. Oh, she hates that trip. She cries like a child when we leave her there. It's seriously heartbreaking! But she'll look (and smell!) better for her weekend at mom's.
